2023 Scorpio New Moon

The week leading up to this New Moon had many energy shifts. When planets change direction or signs we have an opportunity for new ways of being.

On Nov 04 Saturn in Pisces moved in direct motion asking us to strengthen our spiritual foundation by releasing any obstacles that have kept us stuck since June. Venus entered Libra on Nov 08 asking us to focus on harmony and balance in all our relationships especially the relationship to self. She will be visiting Libra until Dec 04/05. And Nov 10 Mercury entered Sagittarius asking us to be guided by our higher consciousness and spiritual vision. He will be in Sagittarius until Dec 01 then enters Capricorn our Soul Purpose Path. But he moves retrograde on Dec 13 at 08 degrees Capricorn and re-enters Sagittarius on Dec 23 where he will assist us to revise our spiritual vision until 13 Jan 2024. Mercury, our thoughts and perceptions, is an important ally as we enter the new year.

We have just entered the 11:11 portal (inner spiritual unity and unity with Great Mystery). Scorpio is an enigma filled with mystery. This Scorpio New Moon cycle (until Dec 12/13) is supporting us to go deeply within and discover The Mysteries of The Universe and the mystery of who we really are. It is the opportunity to bring the light of healing to our shadows and be renewed. All the themes mentioned above are part of this Moon cycle. The question to ask is what is no longer of value that I keep holding onto. Are you ready to let that go and create space for transformation and rebirth? The Sacred guide for Scorpio is the Phoenix Dove, rising from the ashes and rebirth.

Our Animal Totem guide for Scorpio is Snake (shedding the old skin and renewal). The Sun and Moon are at 20 degrees Scorpio 44 minutes travelling with Mars at 22 degrees Scorpio 11 (transformative action) and Ceres at 24 degrees Scorpio 56 (universal love and acceptance). The astrological Earth is at 20 degrees Taurus 44 (our connection to being here on the planet) travelling with Uranus Rx at 21 degrees Taurus 04 (sudden change and unpredictability). They are guided by Beaver, clearing the clutter and building the new. The Animal Totems are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere but are walking with us all at this New Moon cycle. The opposition between Uranus and the New Moon asks us all to find that balance Venus in Libra is seeking. We have help. Neptune Rx at 25 degrees Pisces 02 is sextile the Earth and Uranus  (new spiritual opportunities) and is trine the New Moon/Mars/Ceres in Scorpio (removal of obstacles). Neptune in Pisces is the pathway to Oneness and Healing.  

This Scorpio Moon cycle activates Ray 4 of harmony through conflict or harmony through beauty and peace. The planetary guides are Mars at 22 Scorpio (shamanic  healing) and Pluto at 28 degrees Capricorn (healing and transformation). Mars is sextile Pluto (ease and flow) and trine Neptune (illusion or illumination). These connections are strong Nov 17 to 20. On Nov 18 Mars joins the Scorpio Sun giving us all the power to become spiritual warriors for peace. They will be guided by Pluto (healing ,transformation, and resurrection)On Nov 19 we have a Taurus Full Moon eclipse that completes the lessons of the last six months. We will write more closer to that time but the theme is breaking through to what is of true value and importance. 

The Clan Mother who guides Scorpio is Walks Tall Woman. She is the Keeper of new pathways and the guardian of inner strength. She teaches us to walk our true path with beauty and grace. For Taurus we are guided by Listening Woman. She is the guardian of the stillness and inner knowing. She teaches us how to listen to our hearts wisdom as we make choices. This Scorpio Moon cycle is intense and deep. I love this quote from Pema Chodron. “nothing ever goes  away until it teaches us what we need to know”. Once you are ready and have learned the lesson let go with love and gratitude for the gift of strength received.
