Halving; Halving Not

Halving; Halving Not

Halving; Halving Not

“The wound is the place
where the light enters you.”
—Rumi

It is through imbalance
that we learn
balance.

The subtle shifts,
the nuances, the fluid dynamic
of it, for it is not
a steady
state.

It is continually adjusting
its weight on a tightrope,
its oppositional parts
counteracting round
its center of gravity
pulling, pulling
down, down.

The wee babe
must feel its weight,
trust its weight, before
it can lift up on its
own two feet
without
falling.

A separation, this
symmetrical pairing,
feet, lungs, hemispheres
of brain and being that
by design want—
need—to merge,
to coordinate,
integrate,
to unify
in sync.

To achieve
motion: equilibrium.
And its complement,
momentum.

If there is no weight,
there is nothing to balance.
Balance comes into play only
when the weight seeks
to move.

Otherwise, it just sits where it is.
Unmovable. Which is counter to
life on a continually moving,
endlessly evolving planet
spinning through the
infinite space of
multiversed
universes.

There is no
coincidence.

In this moment
of global rebalance,
mother earth chose the
equinox to bring us into a
redressing of consciousness
writ large enough for all
of us to see, feel, grasp,
to choose—hopefully.

It is the opportunity
baked into this
strange and
widespread
manna.

A gift
apportioned
in equaling measure
to the east and west,
from north to south.
A gift wrapped, to
be sure, in very
complicated
packaging.

So like the crystal born
inside its rocky geodic egg,
nested in the depths
of the earth.

There is no box.
Not any more. This
is an indelible part of
the gift we are being
given: the vast capacity
to heal ourselves from
within our unlimited
power, not from
without.

For there is a considerable
amount of string lashing it
all together, this gift.
And we have the
tools deep
inside to
undo its
binds.

This is the cure.
Undoing what
is done.

Becoming
our own better,
our own best,
for ourselves
and each
other by
letting what
has not been
better or best
for each and
all of us
—go.

It is a total
systems reset
in its infancy.
A clear 20/20
refocusing
of what
matters.

Heart over
mind over
matter.

The material
world has been
the place we have lived.
The world of spirit
invite us to live
differently
now.

part,
not
apart.

There is safety
in number, despite
social distancing.
We are social
creatures who
are made to
inneract.

We are, in fact,
all created separate
and equal, in this interdynamic
way, like the hemispheres
of our mother earth, like
this start of her most
temperate seasons
— half day and
half night.

It is not all dark;
it is light, too.
Just like us.

Formed in balance
—male and female,
innocent and wise,
human and divine—
to coexist naturally.
Harmoniously.
Peaceably.

Wholly,
inside
out.

This is
the key to
being well:
being a part,
together.

It is morning.
The soft spring
rain knows
its drops,
each
one.

Eve Moore: Once a professional writer of advertising, I saw the light & it has shown me words of a different nature. And so I take them down & offer them up. And all is well.

“When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.”
