Seed Songs

Seed Songs

I cast seeds
into this garden
of pearly light,
wan for its
brief arc
these
scant
days.

Seeds taking
their nourishment
from the glaze of snow
crystalizing the sleeping,
this dreaming land,
the all who
dwell upon,
deep with
in her.

Cloaks
of alabaster,
silver, shades
and shadows
— opaline
milk, argent
and blue —
beneficence
scenting
the still
struck
air.

Seeds that sip
vast wonders of the
sacred nether that
is earth’s swaddle,
Gaia’s hallowed
treasure trove
tucked so
carefully
neath
what's
seen.

Dark, this
depth, but
not with
out
light.

Unfathomable
sentience exists
whose slumber
breaks to nurse
these littlest ones,
cradle and tend
them, prepare
them to be
come
gifts
of magic
and beauty,
hope and breath,
a commonwealth
of marvel so far
beyond the
grasp of
grasping.

They rest
now, held
so gently.

Rocked by
the soft spin
of our mother,
heart thrums
warm, steady.

Basking the
incandescent
chorales of star
light, lullabies
harmonizing
loosed tongues
of the winds,
rapt descants
of wild fields
and storied,
watchful
trees.

They sing
the song
of winter.

Hush.

Hush
now.

Listen…

all the
time in
worlds
for eternity
to rise, to
unfold its
untold
petals.

It blooms
by wondrous
starlight,
shining
us all,
every
one,

home.

Eve Moore: Once a professional writer of advertising, I saw the light & it has shown me words of a different nature. And so I take them down & offer them up. And all is well.

“When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.”
