This Pilgrim Soul in You*

This Pilgrim Soul in You*

This Pilgrim Soul in You*

Wayfarer,
nomad of new
berth ceaselessly
upsetting the
bearing

just be
cause.

It is the truth of me,
I see in you, too.

Pure source energy,
we boundlessly range
into the unknown
as we occasion
reality a work
of art
that cannot
be replicated,
no matter the
iterations of mandala
painstakingly
crafted.

Like pioneers of this
plane’s old, cutting
impossible paths
through territory
all but impassable,
seemingly insurmountable,
we seek the horizon
as the event
of endless
forging
creation.

Stirred
singularly by
the exhilaration
of its treasure.

The more challenging,
the more adverse, the
more ‘unreachable,’
the more magnetic
the journey to,
through.

For we do not
suffer gladly
designation.

Even if we find
comfort —
for a time.

Even if we
confuse the
matter made
before us day
by day as
formed.

It is only
set
in
motion.

It
is
light.

Not an ever
fixed-mark that
cannot, will not alter
when alteration
finds, rather
a love, this
existence of
experience,
so supple,
so yielding
to ambits
unseen,
seeable,
that it finds
what it seeks
spellbindingly
enchanting.

Even as it
vexes.

Especially,
it seems of
this life, if
it vexes.

What’s
this?

Feels so

moving

this
odd
urge.

What is
glimpsed as
we spirit along
only a reflection
of what is felt,
for the mirror —
quicksilver —
is a stream
slipping in
to other
streams
sallying
home to
the sea.

Always changed,
always drawn.

Seeds
besotted,
undone by
currents,
torrents
of wind.

The
wend
is the
thing.

Unsettling.
Unrelenting.
Governed by
gravity, not
held by it.

Infinitely coursing.
Wholly rousing.

Ever a breath
of new life.

This is the
way and
the why.

The how
is ours
to find.

For the
what
is any
body’s
quest.

“It is the
light in the
lantern which
shows you the
path, not the
lantern.”
—Yogi Tea
