Relish Each Moment Fun Joy and Laughter.

Hello Friends of Astrology,

There is a rush to get somewhere in the first days of July, whether metaphorically speaking or actual plans to travel to a vacation spot. It is time to relish each moment and bring fun, joy, and laughter into life. Be patient and mindful traveling from the 1^st through the 3^rd as Mars, our planet that helps us push through to get things in life, is at cross hairs with Saturn and Uranus. Saturn can slow things down and Uranus loves to throw a curve ball into all well laid out plans. All that is needed is to be flexible if one plan gets sidetracked. 

On the upside going with the flow and relishing each moment lessons any frustration if something is not going as quickly or as planned.

The Cancer new moon is at 18 degrees with the Sabian Symbol as “A priest preforming a ceremony. Keyword: Conformity.” A desire to sink into comfort and not be bothered with unrelenting change and chaos is what the new moon is bringing us. It is a time of resting and allowing to emotionally catching up. There is a bit of nostalgia with the cancer new moon, the old way of life and memories of what was safe and comfortable in the past.

Every year with the New moon in cancer it is a time to release emotional trauma, baggage, and the accumulated upsets, big and small, that has piled up from the previous year(s). There are many techniques and tools that are useful, EFT, massage therapy, NLP, shamanic work, the Sedona Method and many more. Find a system that resonates with you.

July 12^th, Venus meets with the moon at 19 Leo at the 3^rd chakra, gate, which is the solar plexus in the return journey of her 584 day journey. The next 584 cycle is in January 2022.

Mercury is flying through the zodiac and a quick pace, moving into Cancer on the 11^th and into Leo on the 27^th. Our mind and ideas also can move quickly from realizing how our thoughts create our emotional state and in clearing up unwanted emotional states we then move into thinking patterns of joy and appreciation.

Chiron is nearly halfway through Aries and stations retrograde in July. If you are around 50 – 52 you are experiencing your Chiron return. This is a time of healing old wounds and stepping into wisdom.

Venus and Mars are conjunct on the 13^th of July at 19 degrees of Leo. The Sabian symbol according to Rudhyar is: Zuni Indians Perform a Ritual To The Sun. When Venus and Mars come together there is a complimentary energy between what we want (Venus) and what we are willing to do to get it (Mars). In Leo it is about following your heart and allowing for the sacredness of life to have space through creating a ritual (time and mindset) for whatever that is to be honored.

Venus enters Virgo the day before the Sun moves in Leo on the 22^nd. We now in the height of the summer time and taking time to play, relax, and have fun are tantamount.

The moon is growing and is full on Friday the 23^rd in early Aquarius.  The weekend carries a promise of friendship and connecting with those who love you even if they don’t always get you. The Aquarius full moon at 1 degree is on a fixed star called Altair. It is the star connected with the Eagle. This is a bold and risk taking symbol combined with the ability to see from afar. Unfortunately this star is also associated with military action; hopefully it will be nothing more than a skirmish.

On our personal level the full moon in Aquarius is not only to seek out people that you feel totally free to be yourself with but also a time to take a risk in trying something different or beyond your normal comfort level. It doesn’t matter if it is a large or small risk, trying an unusual food dish honors the energy just as much as bungee jumping for the first time. If you haven’t found that place to hang and who to hang with no worries; the universe has your back. There is a second full moon in Aquarius in August to help out.

Jupiter steps back into Aquarius to spend the remainder of the year helping expand our circle of friends. With Saturn also in the fixed sign of Aquarius strong ideals of how society is meant to be tends to polarize. Keeping an open mind is essential in order to bridge differences and soften dogmatic thinking patterns. All things technical take another quantum lead as new computers, phones, and tablets are sent to the stores in time for the upcoming new school year.

The month ends with Mars shifting into Virgo putting a bug in our ear to get life in order.  Organizing your home and closets is the traditional way of thinking of Mars in Virgo.  The outer reflection of having your surroundings in order allows for an inner sense of order in your life in general. It is a great time to revamp your health and exercise routine as well as choosing foods that lift your energy. The only caution is taking on too much at once as Mars will be opposite Jupiter the day it enters Virgo. The tendency to think that you can do it all in a short space of time seems reasonable even it isn’t. Or to go for a run of 6 miles like you did 10 years ago and think it’s the same after not running for years will only have your lungs and legs tell you otherwise.
