Capricorn Full Moon: July 2025 Astrology Secrets Revealed

Capricorn Full Moon: July 2025 Astrology Secrets Revealed

The Energy of the Capricorn Full Moon

On Thursday, July 10th at 3:35 PM CDT, the Moon will be full in the sign of Capricorn.

For years, astrologers and psychic mediums have been yelling from the rooftops to get to know your neighbors. This Full Moon, in the serious sign of responsibility, ownership, and boundaries, reminds us that we need to understand those around us.

At the moment the Moon reaches 18 degrees and 49 minutes, it will be sitting in the third house. This is the house of communication, which is one of the main themes of this Full Moon. But it’s not about casual chatter or flitting about like a butterfly. Instead, this is about addressing important matters, everything from education and fundamental beliefs to what you can and cannot share with those in your immediate environment.

The Capricorn Moon forms a sextile to the North Node in Pisces and a trine to Mars, which is conjunct the South Node in Virgo.

In terms of the North Node, this is a call to practice compassion, for others and for yourself. Even if you don’t see eye to eye with someone, try to put yourself in their shoes and understand where they’re coming from. We all share something in common, even if it’s simply the roles we play: child, parent, sibling, neighbor. And no matter how crazy the world gets, the North Node encourages your emotional self to trust in a positive outcome, even when things seem bleak.

As for action-oriented Mars in Virgo, the sign of service, its conjunction with the South Node in the 11th house points toward purposeful effort. Escaping reality is not the answer. It’s time to roll up your sleeves and do the work, such as to help your neighbors, your friends, and yourself. Building a supportive community is essential.

Having a network matters, especially as we move into a period of rapid change. Uranus is now in Gemini, and if you thought information was fast-paced before, buckle up. With Mercury in Leo, communication will be bold and dramatic.

That said, Mercury will go retrograde on the 17th, and we’re already in its shadow phase. Neptune went retrograde on the 4th. Neptune rules illusion, disillusionment, and blurred truths, but during its retrograde, we’re offered the chance to see things more clearly. Over the next few weeks, expect revelations and important information to surface.

In the next few days, Venus will separate from its conjunction with Uranus and form a sextile to Mercury. Even in Mercury’s shadow, this could be a good time to express your feelings or explore new ways to express yourself artistically.

However, during the Full Moon itself, Venus remains conjunct Uranus in the 8th house. This suggests potential shake-ups around shared resources. Uranus is unpredictable, some people may benefit from the changes, while others may feel destabilized. Depending on your chart, it could be a lucky time to buy a lottery ticket. But keep in mind: sometimes a windfall is followed by your washing machine breaking down. That’s Uranus for you.

Also during the Full Moon, Venus will be square to Mars and trine to Pluto. If you’re in a romantic relationship, this could be an intense time for you and your partner. It could go either way depending on how you handle it. A Venus-Mars square can spark physical attraction and intimacy, so if you have kids, maybe drop them off at the grandparents. But if ego gets in the way, passion can turn to conflict. The energy is there; it’s all in how you channel it.

If you’re single and meet someone around this time, it may feel like instant chemistry. Things could move fast, very fast. It might not last forever, depending on your personal chart, but it will definitely be memorable.

Now for some welcome news: Jupiter is no longer square to Saturn. That square has been active on and off for several months, and you’re likely to feel some relief. Jupiter square Saturn isn’t inherently harsh, but it often brings restlessness, feeling like you can’t sit still at work, or guilty when you’re not doing something productive.

Starting on the 11th, Jupiter will mostly be unaspected until the 27th. There will be brief lunar contacts, but otherwise, it’s moving solo. This could amplify the effects on any of your natal placements between 1 and 15 degrees, especially if those placements are in the cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn. Jupiter is in a strong position, which usually brings opportunity. Just be mindful: if you have Venus in Capricorn, for example, you may be tempted to overindulge over the next few weeks.

Saturn stations retrograde on July 12th. Saturn retrogrades are often introspective but may also require you to take responsibility for something you’ve neglected. If you’ve been lax with budgeting, you may need to review your income and expenses. If you’ve been overworking, it might be time to restructure your schedule and rest. Saturn retrogrades invite you to reassess your priorities. It can feel like a purposeful reshuffling of your deck.

Currently, the last four planets are in air or fire signs, meaning the Saturn-Neptune in Aries conjunction is forming in-sign sextiles to both Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius. While this alignment is supportive between planets, it doesn’t always mean it’s supporting you personally. It’s summer, and extreme weather is already happening around the world. I urge everyone to take precautions: stay hydrated, avoid prolonged sun exposure, rest when needed, and seek medical attention if you experience signs of illness.

We’ve already seen recent flash floods, heat waves and explosions. Many astrologers have been discussing climate issues and viral risks. I’ve been speaking specifically about heat exhaustion. Regardless of the astrology, it’s just smart to stay aware of your environment during this time. I’m not here to create panic, but I am here to remind you to stay conscientious.

That said, for many people, the current astrology can be beneficial. Let’s take a look at how this Full Moon energy may play out for you, based on your rising sign.

Cancer New Moon • June 2025 Manifestation Energy Guide
The chart for the full moon in Capricorn cast in Dallas, TX, USA for 3:35 PM CDT

Horoscopes by Rising Sign

Please keep in mind that these horoscopes are based on transits to the houses and do not reflect your personal chart placements. They offer a high-level read of the energy. While sometimes specifics are mentioned, the details may or may not play out that way for you, but the theme should be somewhat relative.

Though I recommend starting with your rising sign, you may glean additional insight from your sun and/or moon sign. While the accuracy may be less, derivative astrology can still offer something useful.

Aries Rising

The Full Moon will be transiting your 10th house of career, and you could be looking good at work right now as long as you’re being authentic and empathetic toward others. However, things may feel tense at home. Don’t be surprised if you and a romantic partner or someone in your household have a public disagreement. Take some deep breaths and remind yourself that the issue may not be as big as it seems.

Once the tension breaks, the disagreement could lead to an emotional display that reveals just how much you care about one another.

Some of the conflict could stem from dramatic communication, using words like “always” or “never” instead of being specific about what’s actually going on. If you're feeling overwhelmed, take some time to rest and regroup.

The good news is that Saturn in your first house is helping you become more mindful of your actions and words. Just be aware that this is also a time when truths about yourself may be revealed. If you've been keeping a secret, there’s a chance it could come out.

You could also receive an unexpected call from a sibling or cousin this week. They might have surprising news, or maybe you’ve just been on their mind. You may also be the one to reach out, especially if you’ve been reminiscing about good times from childhood.

Taurus Rising

This Full Moon may illuminate your desire to learn something greater than yourself. You could find yourself diving into esoteric studies, philosophy, law, history, or culture. Whatever you’re drawn to, you may feel a strong urge to understand why the world is the way it is. Looking to past cycles could help you make sense of current events. You might even feel like you signed up for this lifetime to witness and participate in these times, even if you’re still unsure of your role.

You may also be making a bold declaration at home. Your views may be firm, but they come from a place of personal expression. Not everyone will see things the way you do, which could be part of why you’re seeking out new knowledge and perspectives.

At the same time, you may feel that your core values are being challenged. There’s an uneasiness that could spark a strong desire to take action. You may feel called to take spiritual ownership of your place in the world. If activism or community involvement is on your radar, this energy aligns well with that.

At the heart of it, you’re missing a sense of peace. Your environment may not feel as safe or stable as it once did, or you may be grappling with changes in the country or culture around you. Just know that others feel the same, and some of them could be members of your extended family or local community.

Although you’re being pulled outside yourself right now, it’s important to stay grounded. Practice compassion for yourself and others. Remember that dramatic periods of change have happened before. This is a powerful time for you to reclaim your psyche and your spirit through breathwork, meditation, or any practice that helps relieve stress, fear, or worry.

Gemini Rising

It’s time to get real with your partner and let them know what’s going on in your head and your heart. This Full Moon urges you to open up and share what you believe, what you value, and who you really are with those closest to you.

If you’re not in a partnership, you’re still being asked to acknowledge your deeper truths. You may be contemplating your life’s purpose, intimacy, mortality, or what authentic connection truly means.

This week, you may even surprise yourself with how you identify with the outside world. Maybe you looked in the mirror and asked, “Does the outside reflect who I am on the inside?” You could be on the verge of making a radical shift in how you present yourself.

The lighthearted persona you usually wear might give way to something more serious. You could be selective about who enters your inner circle. Or, you may go the other way, becoming more open, charming, and socially engaged. Over the next several years, you may swing between these two approaches. That won’t feel foreign to you, but it could puzzle those who thought they knew you well.

You might also feel the urge to change up your home environment. Most likely, you’ll reach out to a sibling or friend for advice. Whether or not you follow their input is another story.

Cancer Rising

Relationships are front and center with this Full Moon. Even if you’re not currently in one, you may find yourself reflecting on past partners, what you learned from them, and how much you’ve grown. There’s also optimism about the future, whether it involves your current love interest or someone new.

Your confidence has been quietly building over the past few weeks. While you remain grounded in reality, you may feel a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper understanding of life’s cycles.

You’ve also been thinking seriously about your career and the kind of ownership you want over your future. Rather than letting others dictate the path, you’re assessing your current skills, identifying gaps, and strategizing a long-term plan.

What may surprise you most this week are the powerful intuitive hits or shocking realizations about world events. Even if you don’t consider yourself especially intuitive, you could find yourself suddenly understanding things in a way that feels profound. Just stay grounded. The information may come in waves, and it could take time for the full picture to reveal itself.

You may also feel a strong urge to talk about what really matters to you. This could lead to a meaningful conversation with a sibling. The two of you might even decide to plan a short trip or do something nostalgic, like visiting a place from your childhood.

Leo Rising

This Full Moon shines a light on your physical and mental health. It’s a chance to take stock of what’s working for you and what’s not. Maybe you’ve outgrown your current routines or let things slide when it comes to diet, exercise, or wellness. The Moon is offering you an opportunity to reset and recalibrate.

You might even make bold declarations, like losing a certain amount of weight or training for a marathon. Ambition is great, but try to keep your goals realistic so you don’t feel disappointed later or pressured to save face.

Your optimism is rooted in a kind of spiritual revival. You may be drawn to themes of mind over matter or manifestation. But remember that creating change requires more than intention. It also takes commitment. You’ve been taking your dreams seriously and studying what needs to happen for them to come true, but you may be underestimating the time it takes. By the end of the week, you’ll likely have a more balanced view.

To support your goals, consider trying something new and out of your comfort zone. A class in yoga, tai chi, or even group chanting could shift your perspective and help you stay motivated, especially if it puts you in contact with people outside your usual circle.

This week is also a great time to take action around what you value. If you’re in a relationship, share your insights and reflect on how your connection has evolved. If you’re single and looking, the Full Moon is a reminder that in order to meet someone new, you may need to break free from your routine.

Virgo Rising

You may feel pulled to express yourself in creative and spontaneous ways during this Full Moon. Whether it’s writing a song, picking up a paintbrush, or simply giving a stranger a peace sign with a big smile, your fifth house is lit up and encouraging you to let your inner light shine.

This could also translate into how you approach your work. You might come up with an innovative idea that could make your workplace more fun or efficient. While your boss may or may not be open to it, it’s worth sharing, especially if your idea aligns with the company’s goals. Out-of-the-box thinking can help you stand out right now.

Ideally, you’ve been spending time with friends and staying social. If not, it may be time to initiate something. Reach out, make plans, and choose an activity you’ll enjoy. This isn’t a time to sit on the sidelines.

Also, pay attention to symbols and subtle nudges from the universe. You may feel called to take center stage or make a bold move. Your imagination is active, and rather than hiding out, this is a time to manifest something real and meaningful.

If you’re in a relationship, things could get intense, especially around themes of intimacy and future goals. Let yourself be vulnerable and show up for one another.

If you’re single, reflect on your past loves. Were you acting out of compassion or just going through the motions? This could help you clarify what you really want in a future relationship and how you can be a more present partner.

Libra Rising

You are feeling all warm and fuzzy when it comes to your family, and the Moon is illuminating why you’ve worked so hard. You may have recently had an opportunity to assist one of your parents, which most likely made you feel good about being in the position to help.

When it comes to your career, which may have felt like a thorn in your side earlier this year, things seem to have fallen miraculously into place. You may have been dealing with unreasonable demands, but now your work is giving you a sense of balance. It may feel like someone flipped a switch and turned the light on.

Since work isn’t so demanding, you now have the opportunity to take ownership of your relationships, especially with a romantic partner. This could also apply to your boss. Having conversations about boundaries and responsibilities can help prevent future issues. It could also be a wake-up call for you to learn when to say no, especially in your career.

You may be the life of the party right now and more talkative with your friends. Being social, going out to unique venues or restaurants, and connecting with others could be just what you’ve been missing.

There’s also a shift happening within you, opening you up to your spiritual nature. You’re craving peace, harmony, and balance. You may have started taking action, like exercising more or cutting back on sugar and fried foods. Your life is beginning to align in mind, body, and spirit, and for the most part, things are moving toward your ideals.

Scorpio Rising

During this Full Moon, you may find yourself thinking about the innocent days of your youth, reflecting on how life has changed. You may long for the time when friends were neighbors or classmates and everything felt simpler. This is a reminder that friendships can still be formed, but now it requires intention. Instead of relying on circumstance, take deliberate action by joining groups that align with your interests.

You may find yourself speaking up at work this week. Whether it’s giving a presentation, meeting with a client, or having a direct conversation with your boss, your voice matters. You may even feel bold enough to ask for a raise or pitch an idea. As long as you can show your commitment, there’s a good chance you’ll get what you’re asking for.

That said, be cautious not to idolize someone at work based on performance alone. There is a chance they may not be as they seem. Protect your work, such as adding a watermark, and keep communication open with your superiors in case someone tries to take credit for your efforts.

If you haven’t received a little financial boost yet, there’s still a chance over the next few days. Any windfalls you receive might be best set aside for future use or invested in something practical.

You may also feel a spark of chemistry with a friend or find out they feel that way about you. Whether you explore that energy is entirely your choice. It could be a one-time experience, but the attraction is likely mutual, even if the long-term potential is uncertain.

Sagittarius Rising

This Full Moon is highlighting your personal values. You may have been wrestling with questions of right and wrong, and now you're feeling called to clarify your stance. Reflecting on different perspectives can help you strengthen your convictions. When it comes to material things, you might notice you're outgrowing what you once valued.

Your relationships may feel electric right now. With the current energy, you might feel renewed excitement with a partner or experience the opposite and feel like something is off. This doesn’t mean the relationship is doomed. It may simply need a reset or an honest conversation.

Over the next several years, your closest relationships are likely to change. Whether it's in your personal or professional life, flexibility will be key. You could find yourself negotiating more freedom or adapting to shifts in your work schedule.

In matters of creativity or romance, you may have felt uninspired. This Full Moon asks you to be more discerning. Rather than spreading your energy across too many people or projects, focus on what feels lasting and meaningful. In a few years, you may look back and see how this time helped refine your skills and deepen your purpose.

You may also be working harder than usual. It’s easy to get caught up in doing more, but that can lead to mistakes. Slow down and double-check your work, even if you feel confident. If your work isn’t meeting the expected quality, your efforts to take a break or ask for help may not be well received.

Capricorn Rising

This Full Moon puts the spotlight squarely on you. You may feel a deeper need to connect with loved ones. Sometimes you feel unseen, and this Moon offers a chance to understand why. Most likely, you are appreciated, but you’ve been so busy helping others behind the scenes that your efforts are expected.

That said, your relationships may be improving. Others are starting to see you for who you are, not just as someone who takes care of everything. You are allowing yourself to nurture others, but it’s also important to nurture yourself. Your presence is being felt in the home, and it is appreciated.

When it comes to your daily routines, expect disruptions over the next seven years. This is a chance to find what truly works for you. You might rearrange your workspace for better comfort or incorporate more activity during your workday.

You could also be feeling restless and craving a change of scenery. Even a short trip or a two-hour drive could help reset your energy. Just make sure your car or travel plans are in order before you go.

You may be tempted to take a bold financial risk right now. If you do, make sure you have the time and focus to stay on top of it. It is possible to come out ahead, but only with solid research and discipline. The current market is unpredictable, so weigh your choices carefully.

Aquarius Rising

In the days surrounding the Full Moon, you may have vivid dreams or notice symbolic messages from your guides. You are more tuned in to your spirituality than usual and may crave alone time to meditate, reflect, or pray.

You’ve been optimistic about your health and seem to be in a groove with your daily routines. Tasks that once felt like chores may now flow more easily, and you’re even finding enjoyment in them.

There’s no denying that you’re going through a personal shift this year. It’s affecting every part of your life. When you stay focused on the positive, disruptions don’t seem to bother you. But when you become demanding or impatient, it can feel like you’re creating your own chaos.

This is why it's important to explore your creativity. Don’t worry about perfection. Just allow yourself to be inspired. You may feel daring, even flirtatious. It’s okay to put yourself out there, even if you feel a little awkward. If someone says no, you haven’t lost anything. But if they say yes, it could lead to something exciting.

You could also direct your energy into community work. Offering help or sharing your talents could create meaningful connections. Someone in your neighborhood may need assistance, and your time could make a real difference.

At the same time, don't neglect your own life while helping others. Take a closer look at your finances. You may have money leaking out of your account through forgotten subscriptions, old investments or unnecessary expenses. Whether you assess things yourself or work with a professional, this is a good time to rebalance.

Pisces Rising

What do your friends mean to you? This Full Moon shines a light on your connections and your place in the larger world. You may feel nostalgic for friendships of the past and realize how much you value those bonds.

But don’t stop at nostalgia. Make plans with your friends. Get out into the world and meet new people. This is a great year for being social and for dating.

If you're in a relationship, this is a time to show your partner that you care. Talk openly about what each of you needs. Physical affection and presence go a long way right now.

You may also be looking at your home with fresh eyes. Perhaps you're dreaming about a big move or imagining a different kind of lifestyle. Over the next seven years, your living situation could change dramatically. This is okay, but take your time. Research and plan before making any major decisions.

You might even be dreaming about living on an island or moving to a tropical retreat. If so, talk with your family. Don’t sell everything and move without visiting first and making sure it’s realistic. Sometimes the grass is greener, and sometimes it’s just grass. You won’t know until you have a solid plan.

Be cautious about making bold announcements at work. You may feel confined or impulsive, but with all the retrograde energy in play, this isn’t the time for sudden decisions. That doesn’t mean you should ignore your dreams. Just give them the time and care they deserve.

Final Thoughts on the Capricorn Full Moon

There is a serious tone with this Full Moon, due to its placement in the sign of Capricorn. Even the spontaneous moments may carry a sense of restriction as we navigate the world around us.

At the same time, there are still moments of joy. Throughout history, people have found love and connection even during times of war and conflict. Follow what your soul is calling you to do, and make sure you have a support system in place.

Some of the changes happening now may be temporary, but that doesn’t mean the world will return to what it once was. Regardless of who is in charge, we are living through a time of great change. Many cycles are coming to a close, and new ones are beginning to form.

It’s natural to mourn what was, especially when we get swept up in unrealistic nostalgia. But as hard as it may be to look toward the future with enthusiasm, remember that these outdated structures need to change. And often, the process of transformation is uncomfortable. It’s not until we reach the other side that we realize everything unfolded the way it needed to.
