This “World Teacher” Full Moon shows us the way forward as things hit critical mass at a major turning point for humanity. This will create some wreckage while helping us build bridges and see the “future in the making.” This is definitely a time to “consider the source” if someone tells you something, and see whether it’s a reflex from the past or a sign of the future.

This Full Moon fulfills the Gemini New Moon themes, which means we’re opening to a greater way to celebrate life and the wisdom we have at the threshold of a new long wave social cycle. There will be high emotions the next two weeks, so let them lead you to a new view or a new understanding. Update your perceptual files and open to the humor in things. Get over preconceptions and stop doing whatever is taking you either in the wrong direction or over a proverbial cliff.

We’re moving quickly into a new era, so pay attention to the subtle changes and see how the endings have made space for the new beginnings. Those who focus on heart expressions will find they’re in the dawning of a new days with a lot of work to be done. This “Christfest” Full Moon spreading the “Buddha Wisdom” of the Wesak Full Moon is releasing powerful energies of compassion, with a need to discuss points of view and if appropriate, find a way out of the car before it crashes into the train and go in a different directions.

Evolutionary Configurations

This month we have 2 evolutionary configurations, both involving the Lunation. In no particular order, this month the configurations are:

1) The opposition of the Lights is cut by Venus into a semi-square and a sesquisquare, creating three points in an “8 Pointed Star of the Need for Right Action.” This will primarily affect planets and points near 4-8 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, and 19-23 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. If you have something in one of these zones, build bridges, move away from the known and familiar to focus on your dream, and assert the deep and subtle parts of your personality to enjoy life more.

2) The Moon opposed Sun is cut into a sextile and trine by Mars in Leo. This allows consistent, powerful, and creative responses to the tumult of the Sun and the need to learn from others of the Moon, throwing powerful productive energies into late Aquarius. Be willing to see what you value and commit to it, celebrating your good fortune at finding exactly that. This creates powerful productive stabilizing energies for all planets we have between 19 and 29 degrees of the Fire and Air signs.

Here we give a special nod to specific aspects. We have 3 aspects in the 7th harmonic “destiny producing” series. We have Moon biseptile Neptune, Mercury septile Mars, and Mars triseptile Pluto. These all bring “forks in the road of destiny” wherever they happen, where we have to decide crucial things which release possible futures accordingly. (Mercury, Mars, and Pluto are not a configuration since Mercury is more quincunx Pluto than triseptile.)

The Moon at 21 Sagittarius biseptile Neptune at 3 Aries affects houses and planets we have in Aries, Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, opening up active zones around 19-23 Sag, 10-14 Aquarius, 1-5 Aries, 23-27 Taurus, 15-19 Cancer, 6-10 Virgo, and 28 Libra-2 Scorpio.

Mercury at 5 Cancer septile Mars at 27 Leo affects houses and planets we have in Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio, and opens up active zones around 3-7 Cancer, 25-29 Leo, 16-20 Libra, 8-12 Sagittarius, 29 Capricorn-3 Aquarius, 21-25 Pisces, and 12-16 Taurus.

Mars at 27 Leo triseptile Pluto at 4 Aquarius affects houses and planets we have in Aries, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, and opens up active zones around 26-30 Leo, 18-22 Libra, 10-14 Sagittarius, 2-6 Aquarius, 23-27 Pisces, 14-18 Taurus, and 5-9 Cancer (thus pulling in Mercury, though it’s not triseptile Pluto in a Kite.)

Major Aspects

Besides the various aspects I gave you related to the evolutionary configurations, forming (or partile separating) inner planet aspects include the Moon opposed Jupiter (oos) and quadranovile Uranus; Mercury is sextile Venus and decile Mars; Venus is decile Saturn, quindecile Uranus, elftile Neptune, and square Pluto; and the Sun is both sextile and bielftile Mars, conjunct Jupiter (oos), and binovile Saturn and Neptune.

Outer planet aspects include Mars sextile Jupiter (oos), biquintile Saturn and Neptune, and square Uranus; Jupiter is square Saturn, elftile Uranus, and square Neptune; Uranus is sextile Neptune and trine Pluto (both oos), and Neptune will be in close sextile most of this year.

Friction comes from 1 semisquare, 4 squares, 1 sesquisquare, and 1 quincunx. Semisquares are internal friction at the beginning or end of a cycle, and to me represent the irritating metaphoric “grain of sand” in the oyster of our lives which creates a pearl or awareness.

Squares are integrative, while sesquisquares are interactive, annoying and/or agitating, but not necessarily crisis producing. The quincunx, represents an adjustment or sacrifice of some sort. Just remember to decrease aggravation when a frictional aspect is in play.

For those new to the craft, quintiles and biquintiles are 5th harmonic aspects, septiles and triseptiles are 7th harmonic aspects, noviles are 9th harmonic aspects, deciles (semi-quintiles) and tredeciles are 10th harmonic aspects. The elftile series are 11th harmonic aspects, the quindecile is a 15th harmonic aspect, and the vigintile is a 20th harmonic aspect. Each of these has a unique function in the phase relationship of the two planets in aspect.

The 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th harmonic aspects are specializing and bring forth partially or fully developed quintessential elements of the planets involved. The novile (9th harmonic), septile (7th harmonic) and elftile (11th harmonic) series all feature spiritual aspects. All novile series (9th harmonic) aspects represent entry or exit points of periods of gestation which can bring forth possible spiritual developments. These aspects indicate things which need to be put on the shelf for a while, or that which has been gestating can now move forward. They represent gestative energies that can lead to great spiritual realizations.

Septile series aspects represent forks in the road of destiny, where we make choices determining karmic future developments. This series is ruled by Saturn, where we create and fulfill karma by our choices during those phase shifts. The 11th harmonic elftile series aspects involve situations where there is a need to transcend and master some form of duality by making a leap of faith. In transcending those dualistic situations, dilemmas, challenges, and thinking, we resolve the problem and learn techniques of mastering those sorts of dualities in the future. This series tests our faith. Both the 7th and 11th series involve non-rational aspect values, bringing an element of irrationality in behavior and circumstances.

The various aspects in all these different harmonic series indicate points where the theme of the Whole Cycle becomes clear, whether through major developments or minor refinements in the process. Each aspect shows a phase relationship, specific to the special and unique circumstances of that particular Whole Cycle. It's how we can know when to work, when to play, when to create, when to imagine, when to have faith, and when to mobilize!

Element Balance

This Full Moon shows a balanced imbalance in the elements, with three equal and one dominant. At this time, the traditional 10 planets show 2 planets in Water signs, 4 in Fire, 2 in Earth, and 2 in Air. This makes Fire (Inspiration and Light) heavily preponderant, with a balance between Water (Feelings and Experiencing Life on Deep Levels), Earth (Practicality and Grounding), and Air (Relatedness and Communications).

Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, it’s slightly more hot than cool, with the Moon in Fire and Jupiter in Water “mutual reception” dominant.

The current sequence at present of Deciding, Feeling, and Thinking

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. This begins a new pattern. For now, as a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequence” for approaching life and experience as things some fall apart involves beginning activity with feeling, then deciding and acting, followed by thinking.

This pattern leads with feelings, and then makes decisions and acts based in those feelings. While it is tempting to move back into more feeling after the actions, after we make our decisions and/or act, it will be important to get new information to come to a new vision or understanding. Once we get the right view or understanding, then a new feeling-experience will naturally arise that points the way to the next action.

When you are moved by a feeling or experience, it will naturally lead to decisions on the basis of those feeling experiences, which should be followed by a search for new information, new ideas, new interpretations, and new views. We’ll be “feeling our way” into new experiences, then deciding and acting on the basis of those feelings. After a decision or action, then we’ll have to find newer, more up to date information, facts, and understanding so we can get a new vision.

This patterns learns and teaches through anecdotes, seeing how others handled things practically, or how you handed things practically in the past. Let your thinking and communicating and envisioning follow your actions, and let your feelings follow a new understanding, a new perception, or a new view.

If you’re wondering what to do, go to your feelings and sit with them being objective and compassionate. Once you have “retreated to compassion,” then you can find the fact you need to make a decision which will lead you to your vision or understanding which will open your next feeling response.

What are you experiencing which can help you feel what you need to know before you act? If you understand something but don’t know what to do, what are your feelings telling you that you must do? If your actions aren’t bringing you clarity, what internal hesitancy is blocking your vision? Let your feelings lead you to know what to do in order to fulfill past visions and open new ones.

Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend

We are now in the new Saturn in Aries era! We’ll have more Lunations with Saturn in Pisces after September, so this Summer shows the future while the Autumn helps us finish the past. We learned compassion and forgiveness in Pisces, and now must do our own thing in our own way moving into new directions.

Saturn, ruler of our Capricorn and Aquarius sectors and any planets we have in those signs, now helps us to a greater objectivity through humor. Mars, ruler of Saturn, is on a degree of the dawning of a new day, so be open to being creative, playful, and celebrative at this threshold of a new era.

Though Saturn can feel heavy and bring serious life lessons, it is the part of us which can take charge of our lives and destiny by using its strengths with understanding and wisdom. Our ability to steer our “ship of personality” into its “role of destiny” always brings us to new parts to play on the stage of Life.

Saturn makes favorable aspects to Uranus for many months to come, helping us blend understanding with originality. Summing it Up

Between now and the beginning of 2026, we are in a transition zone between “the end of the end and the beginning of the beginning.” The recent eclipses will quickly shut down many things we cannot bring with us into the new Aries era already dawning. Give up lesser things, or that which you haven’t used in a long time and may never use again. Be strong and loving as you let go, remembering that forgiving the past creates a void which allows Divine Grace to enter. Be open to the celebration of global Wisdom now poured out for all of us!

We are now developing through North Node in Pisces, so learn the flow, feel the larger spiritual field, and grow toward your sense of abundance cultivated this past year even as things begin to fall apart. With this position, we learn from Pisces, and show what we know in Virgo. Pisces has grace and faith, while Virgo is obedient to duty.

See which parts of your life have hit a turning point, and accept the new work to be done as you turn away from destructive vectors. There is great power in gathering what we need to feed the future, so work for the future this Summer while doing a final release in the Autumn. Accept your power while also understanding that enlightenment is a verb rather than a noun. Pay no attention to the confusion, dread, or uncertainty as you do your own thing in your own unique way.

With each coming year, we’ll see definite movement away from the ideas which dominated the old 200 year Earth Era and see more of the emergent 200 year Air Era launched at the December 2020 Solstice. This transitional period requires that we ask questions related to our spiritual purpose, fearless as we are One with the World Soul and walk through the world but are not “of” the world. We have found inner strength the past four years, and learned the spiritual power of gratitude which brought assistance from Devas and Angels.

Forgiving much with compassion for the generic human condition, we are being released from all which doesn’t serve our momentum into our greater purpose. This is the heart of a global acceleration in transforming those who are part of a greater service and group work. Embrace a new identity, a new love, a new spiritual awareness, and a new spiritual expression in grounded ways, so keep your mind and heart open and keep coordinating your body, feelings, and mind to demonstrate a stable and harmonized Soul energy. That's a great part to play as we dance through life's changes!

A Meditation on Light and Shadow

Because life seems to be a never-ending experience of out-breathing elements of the past and in-breathing elements of the new, it is useful to remember that when we are moving through major changes, and something new is introduced into our lives, it means that something else must leave, or has already left, to provide space for the new to be embraced. And lesser wisdom must give way to greater wisdom, and old forms give way to newer realities. As I’ve offered before “enlightenment” is a verb more than it is a noun.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
