In these very chaotic times of “The Twilight of Kali Yuga”, it is best to be prepared for any type of emergency: weather disasters, economic downturns, social upheaval, forced curfews, and other challenging situations.

We certainly do not want to panic because then thinking becomes irrational and foggy, and there is enough of that already occurring.

In Sidereal/Vedic astrology, there is a teaching about the detrimental fixed star “Algol” which represents people literally losing their minds!

This star is currently in conjunction with Mars which has previously been discussed as having characteristics of heat, anger, warfare, destruction, etc.

It cannot be denied that its symbolism is at work in the “3d” world today: pandemics, wars, recessions, urban crime at an all-time high in many places, political dysfunction, bio-weaponry, etc.

We could take the letters “A” to “Z” and there could be a word for each of them which represents some type of serious disharmony.

Thus, as stated above, even though we continue to pray, meditate, and to perform other spiritual rituals, we must still take care of ourselves and our loved ones in a practical fashion.

This involves storing-up on food and other necessary items to last us for several weeks or months if necessary.

It is wise to grow our own food.

However, this takes knowledge and time, and some people are not able to do so (perhaps due to age or living arrangements) or do not care to do this, and thus, they need a way in which to have nutritious food in an emergency situation.

Even homeowners who can do what they want to do with their property and can thus plant a garden, still need to have other types of emergency food on-hand.

Always store water in properly prepared containers available from reputable companies.

Review your clothing for warmer months and for colder months. Make sure that every family member has a sufficient supply.

There are many other emergency items that need to be focused upon such as lighting equipment, cooking equipment for being outside, etc.

A bit of thought will bring up what needs to be researched and acquired. While we are envisioning the “New Golden Age” in all of its splendor, we must still face the fact that it is not here yet.

Increasing numbers of humanity are awakening to certain truths, but there is still a larger percentage to awaken yet.

Low levels of consciousness are still causing discord.

Thus, let us be calm and spiritually guided while we still are also being practical.

Here is a tale from the annals of the Middle East that makes this clear:

The Prophet Muhammad was with some of his followers one day, and they stopped at a cafe for a meal. Muhammad tied his camel to the post like most people do. One of his followers said: “Prophet, why do you tie up your camel to the post? You are our Holy Prophet. Do you not trust that God will take care of the camel and see that it does not run away while we are inside eating?” The Prophet’s response was: “Of course, I trust God. However, God has given us common sense. So, I tell you, trust in God, but tie your camel!”

So, let us continue our spiritual activities, but let us also be practical. If we were not meant to be, the INFINITE PRESENCE would not have given us the capability of rational thought along with the ability to elevate to connection with the HIGHER SELF/SOUL/SOURCE.

Also, remember that Yeshua Ha Messiah once warned his disciples: “I send you out as sheep among wolves.”

Be wise—Be observant—Be kind—Be peaceful—But be prepared!
