My dear friends, we love you so very much,

So many of you have asked a question that has been raised since time immemorial: "Why do bad things happen to good people? And why do good things happen to those who appear not to deserve them?" It is an understandable point of confusion. For centuries, man has created God in his image and likeness, painting a picture of a Creator who judges, rewards, and punishes much as humans do. This leads many to believe that you must work to earn love and do your best to avoid becoming unworthy of it.

This dance of earning love or falling out of favor is human, dear friends, not Divine. Human beings want you to earn their love by behaving in ways they deem worthy. Human beings withdraw their love when they feel you are unworthy of it.

The Divine is love. The Divine is Creator. The Divine is the source of life within you, all things, and all beings. You do not earn love, dear friends. You are love. You cannot become unworthy of love, but you can pinch yourselves off from the experience of it. Those you call good are aligned with their true loving nature. Those you call evil have forgotten. Even the worst among you are all sourced from One love but have simply pinched themselves off from it.

And regardless of the goodness of one's heart or behavior, you are all in a vibrational dance with the entire created universe—a dance in which you will attract or allow energetic matches to the vibrations you broadcast, whether these are created intentionally or not.

Vibrational law does not imply that good things happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people. It means that you get a perfect match to what you are broadcasting, whether you are aware of that vibration or not. Gravity is impartial. The laws of physics don't play favorites. Neither does vibrational law.

Insecurity attracts things that make one feel insecure. Love attracts more that feels like love. Martyrdom attracts those willing to let you martyr yourself, and healthy boundaries repel those who want to cross them. A strong feeling of appreciation or abundance in any area of life, coupled with a sense of worthiness or expectation, attracts and allows more abundance in every area of life.

It is hard to tell from the outside looking in why various souls attract what they do. The answer is always vibrational.

This is why you see some people who truly deserve more but receive less. There are countless beautiful souls, often earth angels, who don't realize they are broadcasting a vibration that says, "If you need me, I'm willing to put my own needs aside at any cost." Perhaps you have done this. A selfless person may attract a selfish one this way if they don't have healthy boundaries in their vibrational mix.

Likewise, if you were desperate for a job, you might attract one that doesn't pay enough. If insecurity is in your mix, you might settle for that lower-paying job with the company that is also insecure about its ability to generate abundance. If you feel your value, however, you might walk away from this opportunity and wait for a better one, or take it to satisfy an immediate need while we help you on your journey toward a job you truly deserve.

And what about good things happening to people who behave badly? Many individuals whom you wouldn't deem worthy of good attract it nonetheless. It is not because they are behaving well, but rather because they often believe in superficial abundance and strongly expect to receive it. They can't imagine not having money. And so they attract it on their own via vibrational law, but it does them little good in the broader sense, for it doesn't make up for a soul bereft of real love.

So when you see tough things happen to good people, wonderful things happen to negative people, or unthinkable things happen to people you will never know, before decrying the injustice of it, take a breath. Remind yourself that there is an invisible energetic universe in which vibrational laws are impartial and work as surely as the known laws of physics.

There is no judgment from the heavens, dear friends, only love and a desire to help you remember your magnificence. We wish for you to open to the stream of love and enjoy this earth as it was meant to be—a playground for the soul, a canvas for creation, and a place in which you can interact with the many facets and forms of love itself.

The more you allow yourselves to feel the good in life and enjoy it, the more you'll attract. The more you believe in your own worth, the more good you'll allow. The more you honor yourself and others in balance, the more balanced your lives will become. You are already good souls. You are already worthy. Believe. Receive. Do what you are inspired to do. And let everyone else figure out their own vibration, knowing that as long as you manage your own, you will live a good life and be a powerful force for good in this world.

Hi Everyone,

When we see sad events in the news, like the recent devastation in Nepal, it is easy to question why such things happen when there are so many innocent people displaced—or worse—at least according to our human view. I once asked the angels why a person would leave their life via a natural disaster and quickly learned there can never be a generic answer:

"We cannot generalize here, for each person has a unique vibration and a unique reason for being exactly where they are. Some of them, before they came to earth, wanted excitement on the way out. Some were dear souls intending to be here a short time and leave in a way that inspired compassion. Some had lived long lives and weren't sure if they wanted to be here anymore. Some were souls whose patterns caused them to ignore very strong guidance on a fateful day. Some were looking forward to the adventure of a lifetime and, at the soul level, were open to an adventurous journey catapulting them through the dimensions. Some were disgruntled with life and just wanted things to be easier. Some were guides, willing to leave the planet right alongside other souls in order to help them into the light. There are as many reasons as there are human beings vibrating in different ways." —the Angels

Many times this concept of vibration, intention, and manifestation has blown my mind. In my younger years, I went through a phase where I was disenchanted after taking care of many people and whined to the angels, "I just want someone to take care of me!"

"Careful," they replied! "Be more intentional. Attune to a kinder reality. You don't want to be in an accident that matches your current victim vibration and have to have someone take care of you!"

That snapped me out of victim mode! I cleaned up that energy ASAP! I changed it to something more loving: "I'd like to attract people in my life with whom I experience a joyful give-and-take." I started to let go of my "poor me" story. I stopped whining, "I'm always the responsible one. I'm always the one who has to take care of others!" (Can you hear the tiny violin?) And I started to tune into what mutual relationships would feel like.

Soon, I attracted the friends I have to this day. I started receiving great service when I hired people. People started giving back to me. It was all vibrational. I had always been a good person. I just had a sad vibration that needed adjusting!

The angels like to use the analogy of Velcro—the hook-and-loop tape that you see on jacket sleeves and in sewing projects. We have to have loops for situations and people to stick to us, energetically speaking. If we don't care about people's opinions, they can't hook us with their opinions about us. If we love life, we are open to love of all types attaching itself to us. If we have impatience, which is often fear wearing a mask—hurry up and show me so I can believe!—then we've got room to be hooked into disappointment.

In my early thirties—for the umpteenth time in a row—I had attracted a relationship where I gave all I had and was not treated kindly. A psychic at a gathering looked at me, shook her head, raised her eyebrows, and said, "So, how's it working out?"

"Um, we have our challenges like everyone else," I answered, as I nicely avoided the truth.

The look she gave me drilled into my soul. "Poor little thing. You're always giving in the hope you're gonna get some back." She walked away, leaving me with a truth-bomb that took a few years to unpack.

She was right. Instead of peacefully walking away from what obviously wasn't working, I tried to give more, pay for more, and love more. It wasn't authentic, and it wasn't healthy. I had the loops open to be hooked into this unhealthy dynamic. Eventually, as I closed those loops by learning self-worth, I wasn't able to be hooked into that dynamic again.

So while we're often more than a little indignant about having good things happen to not-so-good people and bad things happen to good ones, we have to remember that what most of us learned about this topic was based on man's notion of God rather than a true understanding of the impartial nature of the vibrational universe and the immense love that allows us the freedom to create as we wish.

Here are a few pointers to help you make peace with the understanding that vibrational law is impartial, to comfort you when you see bad things happen to good people, and to empower you to keep your own vibration clean so you—dear good soul—can experience good!

1. Look Beneath the Surface

Sometimes it is hard to understand why tough things happen to good people and good things happen to ones behaving badly. If you need specific answers, wait for a calm moment, set judgments temporarily aside, shut your eyes, and ask the Creator to show you the energy dynamics at play.

Ask, "Why did this person experience that?" and wait for the understanding to come to you. Often there is so much more at play than we can see with our eyes or know with simply our minds.

2. Be the Love That You Are

When you see something tough happening to someone good, instead of becoming powerless and lost in feelings of injustice, do something. Pray for them. Imagine wrapping them in light. Whisper words of encouragement telepathically to their souls. If you are inspired and have the resources, send help.

The thing that saves us from becoming lost in upset or despair when we witness people having tough times is to bring our own love to the surface.

3. Be Kind to Yourself

When you feel whiny, upset, angry, or sad, just accept yourself. Comfort yourself. Then look for something to feel better about. If you need to release the feelings, talk to someone—even if only your angels. Journal and shred your feelings. Find something to be grateful for. Anything that helps you feel better works.

A brief dip into the lower vibes won't hurt you, but you don't want to stay there consistently. As we look at the world, it is easy to judge, based on age-old criteria, what we believe should and shouldn't happen to others. But the more you focus on shoulds, the less you focus on what is. When you focus on what is, you can do something about it.

We can pray for the families of those lost in the floods. We can send donations. We can hold them in our light and our hearts. We can ask those who are now in bliss in the heavens to comfort those who remain, although many already are. And we can thank God that we are living in kinder realities.

The only thing we can control is our own vibe, but it is well worth doing. A life of love for others, lived in balance with healthy self-love, is one we will feel wonderful about when we look back from the heavens. Those who deviated from love, no matter how much they attract while here, will feel that emptiness in the end. Good souls will feel good about their lives. The justice is not crime and punishment but rather soul-satisfaction—or not.

Speaking of that, many have asked me how Dolly Parton is doing after her transition. I peeked in, and she was being received by thousands of souls in heaven who are grateful for how she helped them or their loved ones on earth. She is feeling the outpouring of love and gratitude from millions on earth, and she looked overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, in tears of joy.

She was beaming it right back at everyone, sending them her love—a shining example of someone who didn't let her circumstances define her vibration but rather chose time and again to be the loving soul that she is. And what love she is receiving in return! May we all feel so satisfied about our hearts and our lives when we look back someday too
