Message From The Angels: Loving on Purpose
Written by Ann Albers
My dear friends, we love you so very much,
There is a notion on your earth that you will be happier if you find your purpose. In a way, that is true. However, it is not nearly as difficult as so many of you make it.
Your purpose is to love. Your purpose is to find ways to express love so you can feel the invisible love of the Divine flowing through you and becoming tangible in whatever form you choose in your physical world.
Some of you came with very specific ways you wanted to love. For example, some souls, in their very great love for the earth, came because they wanted to express love by helping to clean up the plastic bottles left on the beaches. Some came to express love by caring for a family. Some came with a deep desire to uplift, and others came to explore love in ways you might think are so loving. Nonetheless, they learn by the contrast their choices provide and hopefully learn to love more deeply than ever before.
Some of you did not come to earth with one specific way you wanted to love. Many of you came in with what we'll call "travel plans" — ideas about people you wanted to meet and things you wanted to do, but also with a healthy sense of spontaneity. "I'll figure it out as I go," you told yourself, and so we constantly guide you in the direction of greatest ease and joy towards whatever you choose to create.
No matter what you did or didn't choose before birth, each of you exists in the present moment. No matter what you decided before birth, you have the right and ability to decide, in each moment, where to aim your love. You may have come to the earth intending to clean up the plastic bottles, but you fall in love with someone from a different country and redirect your love. You hold hands on the beach, appreciate the waves and the clouds, and in that moment, you emanate love for the planet and your spouse. Suddenly, you get the idea to travel and blog so you can share this beautiful planet with others. Your love for the planet still exists. You have simply chosen to express it differently than originally planned. You are still living and loving with purpose.
You may have come to express your love for a family, but once the "empty nest" presents itself, you will have to find new ways to aim that love—perhaps towards a hobby, work, or a charitable cause. Perhaps you'll grant yourself the love you gave so freely to your family and choose to embrace your own dreams and desires. You are still living and loving!, with purpose.
Our point here is that, rather than worrying about discovering or living your purpose, choose to love on purpose. Love is the greatest purpose of all, and when you are truly in a moment of flowing love, you will feel aligned with your beautiful spirit, clear on your next step, and in a natural and harmonious flow of life.
When you wash a dish after dinner, you can choose to love on purpose. You can love the dish, the people who grew and delivered the food you just ate, the water running over your hands, or the dishwasher that will do the work for you.
When you get up in the morning, you can start your day in a wonderful way by loving on purpose. You can love your bed, your sheets, and the temperature of the room around you. You can love the first breath of air you take and the feel of it empowering the life within you. You can place your feet upon the floor and love the connection you feel between you and the earth below.
When you see something that deeply bothers you, you can love on purpose—not the thing that bothers you, but the thing you'd rather see. When you witness the horrors of something like child trafficking, you immediately choose to love on purpose. Send love to those children. Imagine embracing them with a light so powerful they cannot feel the pain. Love the living saints who are rescuing them and the hearts who are caring for them. Dear ones, love on purpose and you become light for the world.
It is easy to fear, worry, and hate. Most of you have witnessed plenty of that. Nonetheless, love is the feeling native to the soul. As you allow yourself to love on purpose, you will find it becomes much easier than fear, worry, and hate and much more pleasant. Loving on purpose will help you feel like your true self and lead you to a life that is passionate, joyful, healthy, healing, and uplifting. You were born lovers dear ones, and your greatest purpose of all is to love. As you love on purpose, other purposeful and delightful ideas will arise from within.
Love is the invisible force that is the basis of all creation. You are that. You can tap into it, aim it, and watch it ripple into the universe in glorious ways. If you watch the clouds with appreciation you will feel your body relax, and your mood improve. Perhaps as a result, later in the day, a kind word or two will escape your lips and uplift someone in need. If you love your pillow and blanket and a mid-afternoon nap, you may not think of that as purposeful, but how wonderful that you are putting the vibration of peace and relaxation into a world so dearly in need of such qualities. You will awaken refreshed, ready to get on with your day, and open to receiving greater guidance. There is purpose in any loving thought, word, or deed, even if you cannot imagine it in the moment.
Don't worry so much about discovering your "purpose," dear ones. There are so many ways that you can express your love, and all of them have a purpose. As you choose, repeatedly, to love on purpose, you will discover, live, and express your greatest purpose of all. And, at the end of your life, you will know that all you did, all you built, all you gathered, and all you learned was for one purpose only — to find, feel, and express love.
If you have done that in any way — and each one of you reading this has, millions of times already this lifetime — you have not lived in vain.
God Bless You! We love you so very much.

Message from Ann
Hi Everyone,
For some reason, this angel message brought me to tears. It made me recall an exercise I led in a workshop for a few hundred parents who had lost their children. These courageous souls had all come together at a "Helping Parents Heal" conference to reach for the vibrations of light and love that their kids were now living in every day. I was giving my planned talk when an unplanned exercise popped into my mind, courtesy of the delighted spirits of these amazing children. They wanted their parents to get a taste of their heavenly reality.
I asked everyone to get up, walk around the room, and look into each other's eyes. There was one simple instruction — took look at one another as if they were looking at the most precious and perfect of God's creation. That was it. I was in awe as people got up, gazed into the eyes of total strangers, and regarded them as the most beautiful, cherished beings within creation. There was hardly a dry eye in the room after that. They felt their children's reality, and it touched their souls deeply. It touched mine, too. We all want to be seen with such unconditional love. We all feel most like our glorious selves when we flow love. We are all capable of "loving on purpose."
Remembering this magical moment, I am more resolved than ever to find new ways to do so.
After typing the last paragraph, I had to take off for a little while. I left the computer on and the sentence hanging on my screen while I ran off to meet a friend for lunch. I was looking forward to a few hours of humor, catching up, and deep, joyful, uplifting conversation. Before the doorbell rang, I decided I'd make it an exercise of loving on purpose. It sounded like a fun challenge. I love a lot anyway. I appreciate the smallest things. Why not dig deeper, express more, and see how it all went? It was a glorious experiment. Lunch was beyond delicious. We celebrated years of growth, change, and manifestation. The sweet waitress came wearing a "333" necklace, and we had a wonderful discussion about talking to angels. Even the little sparrows flitted around, reminding me of last week's encounter with one of these little feathered angels.
I came home happy but tired because I ate a lot more than usual! So I chose to love a nap—something I once considered a waste of time. I awakened refreshed, as a YouTube video that answered a question I had yesterday started to play all by itself. In awe, I learned what I needed to learn and went on with the day filled with new project ideas. I couldn't wait to finish this newsletter. Being in a vibration of love helps us find an easy and natural flow. Loving on purpose is an amazing way to live.
Life doesn't always hand you things that are easy to love. I am acutely aware of the pain and darkness in this world. I spend a lot of my days working to help people through it. Repeatedly, the angels remind me, "Love on purpose. That is your purpose. Leave the world a better and more loving place because you have loved."
They remind me constantly that it does not matter who or what I love but that I love. As I flow love towards a family member, an animal, the veggies in my garden, a client, or the latest creative project, I'm releasing Divine Love into this world. So are you, and your love matters — both in terms of the quality of our human lives and the blessings we leave behind on this earth.
Here are a few ways to practice "loving on purpose" so you can elevate yourself and feel the grand purposefulness of even the smallest moments of loving existence:
1. Think of love as an action, not just a feeling
Love is sometimes a feeling that occurs naturally when we see something or someone we like or admire. It is easy to "light up" when someone smiles at us when the food tastes good, and when the weather is beautiful. It is easier to feel love when the bank account has enough and the world is calm. In these cases, we don't have to work too hard to love.
However, there are many times when life doesn't make it so easy to love. At these times, it is useful to think of love as a mental action we take. We choose it. We pick an object and aim our love at it. We think of someone we admire or appreciate and imagine energy and appreciation streaming from our hearts to theirs. We recall a memory of something pleasant and indulge in a few moments of loving the memory. We think about a desired future and love that.
You can't worry, fear, or hate at the same time you flow love. We can replace these lower vibrations by actively choosing to aim our love at someone, something, or even ourselves. Many times in my life, I have interrupted my own upset reaction to an unkindness by simply aiming my love at the first random thing I see in front of me. In so doing, I calmed down, gained perspective, and and was able to proceed with the day with a clear and calm mind.
This very simple act of choosing to flow love will help you stay in a space to receive the help and guidance you need and to feel so much better along the way.
2. Choose to love for the sake of loving
Often we love something or someone for what it / he / she / they give to us. It is very human! I love my coffee maker. I love my friends. I love my garden. These things all "give back" to me in some way. It would be hard not to love those things and beings that give you what you like or need.
However, when someone or something is not giving back, when life is hard, or when things seem stacked against you, then it is especially important to simply choose someone or something to love — not for what you'll get in return from them, but because you will reap rich rewards simply by elevating yourself into a loving vibration. If I'm having a tough day and I choose to love a rock in the backyard, that rock isn't going to do much for me, but the act and vibration and feeling of love that flows within me will give me so much in return that it is worth the time to love that rock.
Francois de La Rochefoucauld, a French "moralist" in the 1600s, said, "The pleasure of love is in the loving, and there is more joy in the passion one feels than in that which one inspires." He was onto something.
We benefit most from flowing love no matter who or what we choose to flow it towards.
3. Don't try to love things that aren't easy to love, especially when you don't feel loving
When you're not in a great space, it is the worst time to try to love things and people that are not easy to love. Choose something much easier. Flow love to your favorite blanket, favorite person, or pet. Once you get the flow of love going again in your life it is a fascinating thing that the people who once bothered you greatly become less relevant, or you feel more compassion. However, it is counter-productive and often inauthentic to try to feel loving and compassionate towards the difficult people and things in life when you don't feel good.
Don't try to feel warm and fuzzy about the loss of a loved one. Instead, focus on the love you have for them, even in spirit. Don't try to feel warm and fuzzy about people hurting others. Love the ones who are helpful and kind. As you elevate yourself into a greater vibration of love, you'll naturally want to pray that all be uplifted — especially those who are lost in the dark.
Love what is easy to love, and then the flow of this energy will naturally help you find compassion for who and what is not so easy.
It isn't our job to right all the world's wrongs. It is our job to love as we are authentically called to do so. Interestingly enough if we stop trying to "fix problems" and focus more on "loving and empowering solutions," the problems will be starved of the fight and lower vibrations that fuel them. The actions might look the same, but the vibration of love is far more powerful and effective than a vibration of hate.
Loving on purpose is a habit that, once cultivated, will give you freedom and joy. You'll feel a sense of purposefulness in even the smallest loving things that you do. You'll raise the vibration of the planet and allow the Divine to flow into form. You'll be the creator you intended to be — finding new ways to express and experience love in this world of form, making the invisible visible, and lifting yourself and others along the way. That feels like an awesome purpose!
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Ann
