My dear friends, we love you so very much,
You came to this earth eager. You came wanting to create. You came, not because you were flawed, not because you messed up in prior lives, not because you wanted to learn to be a better person, but rather because you wanted to embody, experience, and expand love – both within yourself and within the world around you. You are nothing less than the love of the Source in human form, expanding love.
The oak tree wants to make acorns. The acorns want to grow into oaks, and these oaks want to make acorns. The acorns and oaks grow because the force of life inside of them is constantly expanding. In the surrender to their own expansion, they feed and shelter countless animals. They hold the soil in place. They drop their leaves in the Fall and fertilize the forest floor. Life, love, and the Source within always expand, grow, and contribute to the beautiful dance of life around.
Likewise, the oceans exist. They do not necessarily expand their volume at all times, but they expand their experience. They constantly shape and reshape their depths and their shorelines. They take in new substances offered by the earth and the rains, as well as human beings. They support different forms of life at different times and when life forms cease to enjoy their existence, they transition into the spirit realms again.
Life is expanding, growing, and becoming more at all times – not necessarily more in terms of quantity, but more in terms of experience. Life is always trying to expand into greater love.
You too are expanding life. You too are part of this vast and immense force that creates worlds. As you experience situations here upon your earth, in this great buffet of life, you make choices. You have preferences. You dream of new experiences and in your dreaming – both individually and collectively – you call new dreams forth.
What you never intended to do was to focus so relentlessly on the problems that you hold them in your created reality. You meant to focus on better, kinder, more harmonious outcomes. You mean to expand love.
So when you see the difficult, and even horrific things going on in your world, acknowledge them of course. They are going on. But then, dear ones, turn to the light. Turn to the feeling of a better future. Turn to the feeling of a world at peace. "That is a fantasy you say." We say, "It is until enough of you fantasize about it and call it, through your focus upon it, into reality." If you truly tuned into the feelings of peace frequently, moving your focus back to peace when you wobble away from it, you would start to enjoy peace in your own heart and your own life. Your peace would ripple outwards and calm those around you. Little by little, dear ones, you would begin to change your world.
There are, of course, far more personal challenges. You want to create abundance. Then, dear ones, find the feeling of it, and every time you wobble away from that feeling, try to find a thought that makes you feel more abundant. Practice this until you feel abundant in your heart most of the time. Perhaps you are abundant with love, talent, kindness, and good people. Perhaps there are beautiful clouds in the sky, and a vast array of fruits to choose from at the market. Can you find the feeling of abundance and stay there until abundance flows to you? Life wants to expand your experience of love.
Say you lose someone. This doesn't feel much like a creative adventure or an expansion for your soul. This feels like a loss. You have been trained to see it as a loss. We see it as an expansion. When someone dies, it simply means that they are ready to expand back into the non-physical realms. Some leave because they feel complete at the soul level. Some leave because they made a decision to do so before they were born. Some are simply feeling stuck and know, deep in their soul, that death offers more love than they are currently open to receiving here upon the earth.
In the other realms, the love of the Source is so apparent and overpowering that you don't resist love. You don't resist being a loving being. You don't resist receiving God's love. You don't resist receiving the love of your dear ones on earth. You can look back on your life with all its ups and downs, but you see it through the eyes of love. You see the expansion that took place. You see all that you learned, and how you grew. You see the things you could have done better too, but without the judgments that you place upon yourselves on earth. You live in the light, in love.
So when you lose someone, by all means, first and foremost tend to your feelings. Seek soothing and comfort, and know that your loved ones in the light are not judging you in any way. They see you as cooperative partners in their own vibrational choices on earth. They know you love them. They are no longer harboring any judgments whatsoever. Reach for your own good feelings, as you are able and then you will be able to reach for them. In time, dear ones, as you focus on the love you have more than the loss or the longing, you will feel them. You will connect with them. They have so much love to offer you now in their expanded form. As you surrender to the love you feel for them and the love you feel for yourself, the compassion for self, the soothing you need, and the joyful thoughts of your time together, you will reach for their vibration and you will begin to experience the eternal nature of all souls.
You intended to expand dear ones, by seeing a variety of life and choosing among them. You intended to try new things, have new feelings, think new thoughts, and create new experiences. You did not intend to "get by," "survive," or "tough it out." Every day, even if you do the same thing and have the same routine, you can reach for greater love in the experience.
Even in the midst of life's greatest challenges, and often especially in the midst of them you reach for more love. You reach for greater kindness, greater harmony, and greater ease. You can do this while things are going well too, listening to your heart and acknowledging its desires when they arise naturally.
You are expanding beings. You don't grow because you are flawed, any more than the acorn would consider itself flawed as it grows into an oak. You grow because the life within you seeks expansion into greater love. You are perfect now, even as you expand into more. The acorn is perfect as it expands into the oak. The oak is perfect even when it dies and fertilizes new acorns as its spirit takes life in new oaks.
Light, dear ones, is the substance that lives and breathes within you. Set it free within you. Let it shine without condition as often as you can. Be kind to yourselves and allow your dreams to play within your own minds until they cause feelings that match, and eventually become your personal reality.
God Bless You! We love you so very much.

Message from Ann...
I've gone down the creative rabbit hole lately. I have played around with various crafts throughout my life, but for a long stretch of time, they took a back seat as I helped thousands of people, as well as my own family and friends, get through the challenges of the past several years.
Last fall, the artistic vibe within me sprung a leak. I could no longer contain or resist it, nor did I want to. I could no longer contain or resist it, nor did I want to. It started with a YouTube video on making pumpkin topiaries, spread into creating decor for every season, and has now been guiding me down the rabbit hole of "junk journaling," which contrary to the sad-sounding name is the process of creating magnificent, treasure-stuffed mixed media journals by hand, from ordinary things, discarded books, and whatever else you can get your hands on. It is literally an experience of turning trash into treasure.
Two weekends ago my kitchen floor was strewn with hand-dyed papers spread out to dry. Boiled cabbage mixed with a few teaspoons of baking soda yielded a lovely blue, while turmeric on its own made bright yellow. With a few teaspoons of baking soda added to the mix, it then turned rust red. Tea made my papers a light vintage-looking brown and coffee created a deeper parchment look. So many colors! I was in heaven! Last weekend, I was happily creating pockets made from a discarded old dictionary and sewing them onto my hand-dyed pages. I'm in the present, in joy, in a high vibe when I'm at this. It is a perfect vibe from which to pray and create.
Years ago I went to a presentation by Sonia Choquette, whose books on psychic development I still recommend often. She got the whole room singing and dancing, and once we were whipped into a happy, high-vibe frenzy, she had us stop and think about our desires with great joy. Needless to say, this was high-vibe manifesting and things flowed easily and quickly afterward.
We are here to expand.
I catch myself from time to time thinking I "should" be doing something other than playing with paper. I "should" contribute more, do more, be more, answer more emails, gaze more, etc. And then I stop. I remember what I preach, teach, live, and breathe most of the time. I should do what my heart dictates because that is honoring the force and Source of life within me. I don't get to see all the expansion and contritions to life that come from my creative streak. I see myself expanding into more joy than I've had in ages. I see myself with more balance. I see myself able to create more easily. I see the people at craft and thrift shops whom I uplift and I see the people who will enjoy the love I poured into these things for years to come.
What I will never get to see is the ripple effect of high-vibe, living, and trusting in the Source that steers and guides me. I know my readings have been more of a joy. My newsletters have been more of a joy. My relationships with family and friends have been more of a joy. Nonetheless, I'll never get to see the ripple effects of this in the world, outside my immediate sphere of influence. Still, I trust. I know that the Source within me knows that there are bigger things at play than my paper scraps and glue.
When you let your heart wander down the paths that bring joy; when you let yourself dream of a world that we are not seemingly close to manifesting yet; when you dream of your best possible life and do things that make you feel closer to it, then you pop into the higher and happier realms of existence, where you cannot help but be a contribution to life itself. You will go where guided and go with joy. You will find that what you do, you do with love.
Then, every now and then, when the old programs pop up and try to make you judge yourself as anything less than worthy of living and loving the life your heart calls you to, you'll nip them in the bud. You'll be so happy you'll know you deserve abundance, you deserve love, you deserve support.
It all starts by honoring your own heart – honoring how it wants to experience the next moment. I watched a YouTube video one night when I was tired. It sparked a current in my own heart, which joined with other thoughts about other times in my life that were extremely joyful. That current joined with a current of dreams about what I might create, and now I have rediscovered a passion that was dormant for a while. I still love helping in more conventional ways – healing, counseling, offering the angel wisdom, etc... but this expansion of my soul is like a river that can't be contained and I'm looking forward to seeing where the river meanders as Life continues to grow and flow from within.
Here are a few tips to help you surrender to your own soul's joyful expansion as you grow and flow through life...
1. Let God be God... Stop negating your own prayers
Sometimes you have a fantasy. It feels good to think about taking a trip, being out of pain, or talking with spirit. You start to daydream about your ideal relationship, house, or job.
Stop there. Luxuriate in the feeling. Let your mind run wild as your heart plays within it.
More often than not we negate our good-feeling thoughts. "Yeah right, that's too expensive." "I've been in pain for years (translated I'll never feel better)." "I've tried for years to talk to spirit and I still can't." "I've been intending that relationship, house, or job forever and it never showed up." "There aren't any good partners, affordable houses, or jobs at my level." We stop thinking about the joyful thought and sink into the familiar, painful resignation... or worse!
We go on and on negating our own dreams and our own prayers. We learned to do it. We heard statements like, "How are you going to do that?" "Who do you think you are to ask for that? You can't afford that..." and the list goes on...
As the angels like to tell me, "Stop it. Stop telling the Divine what it can and can't do. Stop negating your own prayers"... and I would add, have a sense of humor when you catch yourself doing it.
Dare to dream, as the saying goes, and let God be God. I've stopped telling the universe what it can and can't do based on my very limited human experience!
2. Set the universe in motion...
All throughout the day thoughts pop in about things we'd like to feel better about. Take a few seconds and indulge in the idea of better. It doesn't take long to set the universe in motion...
You notice you're thirsty. "One more email till I get water, then one more." Stop for a moment and either get yourself some water or think about how wonderful it will taste.
A thought of the beach pops in your heard while you're at work. "Focus on work," you tell yourself. Instead why not stop and indulge in the thought of balmy ocean breezes to raise your vibe then get back to work. You just set the universe in motion.
A thought of relaxing pops in your head. "Yeah right, when?" Stop. Take a few deep breaths. Relax for a second and indulge in the feeling. You just set the universe in motion.
3. Stay in the higher flow by caring about how you feel
There are so many times when you have to do something. How can you make this more fun, kinder, or easier? Can you get yourself a glass of tea, or play some beautiful music while doing an unpleasant task? Inst read of running errands in 100 degrees (in AZ!) perhaps you can do them early in the morning. I have some paperwork to do for accounting that I'm not feeling too playful about so I'm waiting to figure out how to make it fun, and imagining the feeling of zipping through it easily until that actually happens.
Care about how you feel and make the un-fun tasks as pleasant as possible, the difficult situations as soothing as possible, and when you have the urge and ability to do something you enjoy, no matter how small, do it. Indulge in your own happiness.
You know it and I know it, and everyone knows it, yet we don't live like this - the more full your own cup is, the more you contribute to life. It isn't selfish. People who truly give selflessly do it from their joy, not their resentment, victimization, and martyrdom.
Life was meant to be waaay more joyful than we allow it to be. There are unpleasant things going on, and unpleasant things we must do, but in a happier vibe, we steer around them or handle them in a kinder way. We grow into more loving beings. We expand our own experience of love, as well as our contribution to it. Listen to your heart. It matters.
Do you really feel better obsessing about the world's sadness and pain? Or do you feel better knowing it exists, but then turning to the light, imagining, praying for, and contributing to a better world, while you give yourself permission to create a better world in your own personal sphere of influence? You already know the answer. Give yourself permission to do it :)
Have a beautiful week :)
