Why do you meditate?

Are you more loving and compassionate after meditation? Are you touched by the wisdom of God in meditation? Then you have grasped the essence of meditation.

If the meditation is a calming training or a therapy for you not to despair, then you rewind a mental and not a spiritual exercise.

Choose and recognize how and why you are meditating. Is it the longing for God or is it mental concepts that make you sit on the meditation carpet?

Both are honored before God. However, the distinction is important for you so that you can understand the reason for your trade and assign it correctly.

• Who or what is at the center of your meditations or prayers?
• Has the longing for God gripped you or do you still play people's games and let yourself drift from one shore to the other?
• Do you love meditation techniques more than direct attention? Do you have a clear goal – GOD?
• How mature is your soul, how great is your desire, how deep is your longing?

You can see this in the way you meditate.

Have the courage to look inside, because knowing where you really stand is the first step to a higher consciousness.
