2017 Sagittarius Full Moon

As Snowy Owl and Shooting Star climbed the path to the Star Temple the western horizon was bathed in streaks of pink, crimson, and gold as Grandfather Sun set. They knew Sister Moon would soon appear in the east in her fullness. But they wondered if they would be able to see her as a mist surrounded them as they made their way to the Temple. The night air was crisp and cool but the ground was still warm from having received the welcome warming rays of Grandfather Sun earlier that day. Therefore the combination produced the misty condition and a sense of other worldliness.

When the sisters entered the Sacred Space the Winged One Little Owl was waiting for them perched on a branch of the Standing One who guarded their magic flying capes. The young women knew this meant they were going on a journey. Snowy Owl’s Totem always appeared when it was time for them to fly into the deep night. As they anticipated this journey Sister Moon showed her face in the eastern sky. The mist created a triple halo of blue and silver around her shining light. It too felt other worldly.

Luna spoke “the halo you see around me is to remind you that you have an auric field that surrounds you. Humans and other living beings have a direct link to All That Is. You are a mind that can be limitless, a body that has wisdom, emotions that guide you intuitively, a heart that expresses compassion for all things, and a spirit filled with Loving Kindness. But when there are tears and holes in a human’s auric field the spirit is damaged and a separation from Soul and Source happens. It can be repaired but most humans choose to stay separated and divided from their Soul Essence. I have asked Little Owl to take you on a journey so you may be reunited with your Soul’s Wisdom and Guidance. This journey is also very necessary for the two leggeds in the far away time”.

As Little Owl flapped his wings the sisters put on their magic flying capes and prepared to follow him out into the deep unknown. They flew past the planets and stars until they came to the Crack in the Universe. As they journeyed they each felt an expansion of their minds, bodies, and hearts. They felt limitless. There were no fears or apprehensions. There was just Love. When they stopped at the edge of the Universe they again heard Sister Moon speak.

“Look back to the Earth Mother” she said. Snowy Owl and Shooting Star turned back to see the blue green orb that was their home. The Earth was a jewel shimmering in the vastness of the Cosmos. She radiated Love for all her kingdoms especially her human kingdom. That was the one most in need of healing and unity. As the sisters received that healing love the edge of the Universe was filled with dancing lights of all colours.  Sister Moon said “These are the Souls that are waiting for their humans to repair the tears in their spirits so they can again be united with their Soul Essence Guidance. This Full Moon is a doorway that offers the gift of healing and unity within. That is the only way the Earth Mother will be able to continue to support all her kingdoms. Creator and Great Mystery gave humans the gift of choice. It is time for the two leggeds to choose to unite in love and release the illusion of separation and fear. It is time to reunite with Source and The Oneness of All.’’

As Snowy Owl and Shooting Star followed Little Owl back to the Star Temple they were accompanied by many dancing lights. Some humans were ready to heal their spirits and reunite with their Soul Essence Self to heal the world. The message had been heard. 

I welcome back Snowy Owl and Shooting Star and Sister Moon’s message. I have said many times I do not write these stories. They come through me. I remember many years ago when I tried doing automatic writing. With eyes closed I wrote the messages I was receiving. Of course it was mostly scribble. Then a clear directive came through “Dale open your eyes so you can see”. It is said the eyes are the doorway to the Soul. It is time for all of us to open our eyes so our Soul Light can shine through. It will change the way we see the world and we will then change the world. And heaven knows, given the events of the past weeks and months, the world is in desperate need of change and healing.

Astrologically the Earth and Moon are at 18 degrees Sagittarius (our belief systems). They are ruled by Jupiter at 13 degrees Libra (justice and fairness for all and harmony in all our relating). Jupiter has been retrograde (inner reflection regarding our growth and expansion focus) since Feb 05/06 (depending on your time zone). It may have been difficult to manifest what we want in the last four months with the retrograde. But at 10.03 am EDT today (just after the exact time of the Full Moon) Jupiter moves forward in direct motion. It does not mean growth and expansion will suddenly be activated but it does mean we can focus on what we want to manifest in the coming months until October 2017. The focus is on justice, fairness, and harmonious relating. Jupiter is considered the Home of the Master Teachers so you may want to meditate on which teacher is guiding you as you move forward.

The Soul Centered ruler for the Sagittarius Moon is the Earth traveling with the Moon. I love how the story reminded us how precious our Earth Mother is. It is time to let go of the ego need to be in control and now tend to the garden of our special home planet. We can do that by healing the holes in our spirits. As this is a Full Moon the Sun is located at 18 degrees Gemini. The opposition between the Moon and Sun is square (finding new ways of doing things) Neptune at 14 degrees Pisces (illusion or illumination). Neptune asks us to focus on what is true, what is not true, what can never be true and WHAT SHOULD NEVER BE TRUE. Anyone who follows American politics knows today (June 08) that is very evident. It is interesting as the Full Moon on June 09 has a direct effect on President’s Trump’s natal astrology. And remember Jupiter (justice) is moving forward.

Back to Jupiter. He is sextile (easy opportunity) the Asteroid Vesta at 13 degrees Leo (the ego or the compassionate heart). Vesta symbolizes our truth and commitment to our spiritual path. Together they form a YOD pattern (finger of fate) with Neptune in Pisces. The release point (Neptune is being pressured here to tell the truth) is 13 degrees Virgo. That is the mid-point between Vesta and Jupiter. I call Virgo the Rainbow Bridge of Healing into Wholeness. And Virgo is also about doing the right thing. Pluto at 18 degrees Capricorn (healing and transforming society) is inconjunct (letting go) the Sun at 18 degrees Gemini (duality and polarity). But he is also sextile Neptune (opportunity for enlightenment). Saturn at 24 degrees Sagittarius (building a strong spiritual foundations) is traveling with the Earth and Moon and he is square (motivation for change) Chiron at 28 degrees Pisces (healing our own wounds and the world wound). The Universe always supports us. All we need to do is open our hearts to the Love.

For the Northern Hemisphere our Animal Totem guides for the Earth and Moon in Sagittarius are Elk, strength and stamina, and Owl, the wisdom to know the truth. For the Sun in Gemini our guide is Deer, sensitivity and compassionate love. For the Southern Hemisphere the Totems are reversed. But they are available to us all. Regardless of which Hemisphere you reside in the Clan Mothers are the same.  The Clan Mother guiding us for the Moon in Sagittarius is Gives Praise. She is the guardian of gratitude and giving thanks for the truth. She teaches us how to give and receive so we are in the flow of abundance. She teaches us to celebrate the dance of our life. The Clan Mother for the Gemini Sun is Storyteller. She is the guardian of the magical child and speaking our truth from a sacred point of view. She also teaches how to listen to what others are really saying. She teaches us how to know our true story and live it. This Full Moon in Sagittarius is found on the Tarot Constellation of The Hierophant, the Wisdom Keeper. It is the principle of teaching what you have learned. Sagittarius is considered to be the teacher of the zodiac and learns by experience and hands on involvement. It is the 14^th card in the Tarot and suggests new spiritual beginnings after the Transformation of card 13 has occurred. The other energy of this Tarot Constellation is Taurus, the principle of balancing the physical world with a spiritual consciousness. It is the 5^th card in the Tarot and is the number of dancing to the tune of a different drummer. Taurus asks us to find empowerment and spiritual balance in a sometimes crazy world. In our current Lunation the Taurus influence is Venus, self- love and personal empowerment. Venus is also the harmonizer of the Universe.

The Gemini Sun at this Lunation is active on the Tarot Constellation of The Lovers, relationship and choice. The theme is the urge to unite, the choice to love, ourselves in relation to each other. The other sign of this Constellation is Capricorn and its expresses the shadow of the urge to separate, the choice to fear, ourselves in relation to the world. Pluto currently in Capricorn will show us what we fear but also show us the Path of Transformation.

The Rays for the Moon in Sagittarius are the 4^th Ray of Harmony through Conflict with Archangels Gabriel, transformation and resurrection, and Hope, faith and trust, as our guides. It is the Ray of the human kingdom. The next is the 5^th Ray of Concrete Knowledge and Healing, with Raphael, the shinning one who heals, and Mary, Divine Unconditional Love, guiding us. That is the ray of current humanity. The final Ray Sagittarius is active on is perhaps the most difficult. It is the 6^th of Idealism and Devotion. We can all see how conflict and dogma are continuing to be expressed in the world of the two-leggeds. Even the Rays have a shadow side.  The Archangels of 6^th Ray are Uriel, peace and love, and Aurora Grace, gratitude and balance.

Gemini is only found on the 2nd Ray of Divine Love and Wisdom. The Sun at this Full Moon asks us to focus on Loving kindness and communicate with compassionate caring for all. The Archangel who guides us is Jophiel, creative power and vision. When you call on him he will assemble a legion of angels to help you manifest your greatest vision. Jophiel’s feminine counterpart is Constance Christine, spiritual illumination. Call on all these Archangels of the Sagittarius Moon and Gemini Sun to support as you heal your spirit and then walk the truth of who you really are.

And finally at this Full Moon we have a special blessing to heal the holes in our spirits. It is a Grand Fire Trine (actively breaking out of the box we are stuck in). Uranus at 27 degrees Aries (breaking through to the Authentic Self) is trine (ease and flow) the North Node at 26 degrees Leo (new directions guided by the compassionate heart) and Saturn at 24 degrees Sagittarius (strengthening our spiritual foundation to allow our Soul to guide us). Need I say more?
