2020 Gemini Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse

As I write this on Nov 29 there has been a very big Solar Flare ignited on the Sun, the largest one in three years. And we are in Solar Cycle 25 with more flares to come. When the Sun is very active with Flares the human response matches the intensity. Lots of frustration, anger, and impulsive behavior. The message to unite in love and harmony has not been embraced. But that is the message of this powerful Lunation. It is a subtle Eclipse where the Moon only enters the outer shadow of the Earth but spiritually it is meaningful. This Full Moon asks us to release the lessons of the last five months and embrace healing and transformation.

The Moon and Earth are travelling together at 08 degrees Gemini (duality or integration). They activate the Tarot Constellation of The Lovers, relationship and CHOICE. The theme is the choice to unite in love or the choice to separate in fear. The latter is associated with the sign of Capricorn. And in 2020 the Capricorn cluster of Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn have been dominant. Their shadow energies are with Jupiter, extremes and exaggeration, with Saturn, fear and restrictions, and with Pluto, destruction and release. Capricorn is associated with society. They do play an important part at this Full Moon of choosing to UNITE IN LOVE (Gemini).

The Sun is at 08 degrees Sagittarius and activates the Tarot Constellation of The Hierophant, learning to become the Wisdom Teacher. Sagittarius asks us to learn from our experiences and free our spirits. It asks us to follow our spiritual vision guided by our Higher Consciousness. The other sign of The Hierophant is Taurus, what is of true value and importance. Uranus Rx is at 07 degrees Taurus and is offering us the support to break free from the past and breakthrough to the new. He is inconjunct the Sun (change, release, and letting go to create the new). The shadow side of Sagittarius is judgment and dogmatic beliefs. Here is where the Capricorn cluster comes in. Jupiter at 26 degrees Capricorn guides the Sun in Sagittarius. He is travelling with Pluto at 23 degrees Capricorn (transformation of society) Pallus Athene at 27 degrees Capricorn (the wisdom to let go) and Saturn at 28 degrees Capricorn (strengthening our spiritual foundation and our Soul Purpose Path).

The Moon and Earth in Gemini are guided by Mercury at 27 degrees Scorpio (healing, transformation, and renewal). The messenger planet is travelling with asteroid Juno at 23 degrees Scorpio (transformation of relationship). Mercury will enter Sagittarius on Dec 01 asking us to perceive things from our Higher Consciousness. But first we have to heal our thoughts of fear and the urge to separate. The Soul Centered ruler (Esoteric Astrology) of the Gemini Moon and Earth is Venus at 10 degrees Scorpio. She is opposite Uranus Rx. Together they are asking us to transform by releasing what no longer serves us. Juno, Mercury and Venus in Scorpio are ruled by Pluto in Capricorn (transformation and release). Juno and Mercury are sextile (new opportunities wanting to manifest if we release what is holding us back) all the planets in Capricorn (our Soul Purpose Path). The soul Centered ruler of the Sagittarius Sun is the Earth in Gemini (choosing to unite in Love).

This Full Moon is also aligned with powerful Fixed Stars. The Sun is merging with the Royal Star Antares in the Constellation of The Scorpion. It is at 10 degrees Sagittarius and symbolizes focused passion but also obsessive behaviour. It is The Watcher of the west, personal responsibility. It is the Heart of The Scorpion. The Moon and Earth are aligned with the Royal Star Aldebaran in the Constellation of Taurus the Bull. It is at 10 degrees Gemini and symbolizes integrity at all times. It is the Watcher of the East, spiritual integrity, and is in the eye of the Bull.  And Uranus in Taurus is aligned with the Fixed Warrior Star Hamel in the Constellation Aries, the Ram. Hamel is at 07 degrees Taurus and symbolizes focused will and determination or lashing out with frustration and anger. Being aligned with Uranus both attitudes may be what occurs. It is located in the head of the Ram. Beating your head against a brick wall? Focused determination to transform would be best. Uranus is also aligned with the Fixed Star Schedar in the Constellation of Cassiopeia, the Queen. It is at 08 degrees Taurus and represents feminine dignity, strength and wisdom. The feminine is our inner intuitive knowing what the correct path to choose is.

For the Sun in Sagittarius we are guided by Elk, strength and stamina, and Owl the wisdom to see through deception and discern the truth. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere. “The truth shall set you free”. Neptune at 18 degrees Pisces (illusion or illumination) just moved forward on Nov 28 after being retrograde since June 22/23. At this Full Moon he is square the North Node at 19 degrees in Gemini (speaking the truth) and the South Node at 19 degrees in Sagittarius (knowing the truth and releasing what is not). This Square will continue to be active until early Feb 2021. Squares are motivation for change and finding new ways of doing things. Neptune in Pisces is healing, forgiveness, completion and release. In the Northern Hemisphere he is guided by Cougar, spiritual power, and Wolf, who guides us through change. In the Southern Hemisphere Neptune in Pisces is guided by Brown Bear, introspection, healing, and The Healer.
