2022 Cancer Full Moon

When the Moon is in her fullness she is travelling with the astrological Earth. Here in the North Country the land is snow covered and the Full Moon casts silver blue shadows. There is a beautiful stillness as Sister Moon smiles down on us. Sit in silence and be open to the messages you are receiving. We are all being asked to nurture and care for each other and all of Mother Earth’s Kingdoms at this challenging time of transformation. The Moon is “out of bounds” asking us to connect to and be guided by our Soul’s Wisdom and Spiritual guides.

The Clan Mother who guides this Cancer Moon is Loves All Things. She is the Mother of Unconditional Love and teaches us to forgive ourselves and others accepting our differences. For the Sun in Capricorn we are guided by Talks With Relations. She is the guardian of nature and all her kingdoms, the keeper of the Earth’s needs, and the Mother of the Planetary Family. The Moon at 27 degrees Cancer 50 is the nurturer and connects us to the Universal Mother Goddess. It reminds us of our roots, origins, our Ancestral lineage and wisdom. It is also the sign of our family, the one we grew up in and the one we created. This Full Moon feels everything deeply. Allow those feelings to come forward and be acknowledged even the painful ones. This Full Moon is perfect for letting the past go with love. The Moon is in her home sign but she is also guided by Jupiter at 04 degrees Pisces (spiritual vision) and her Soul ruler is Neptune at 21 degrees Pisces travelling with Pallas Athena (the wisdom to forgive and release the wounds of the past).

The Sun at 27 Capricorn 50 is travelling with Pluto at 26 Capricorn 29 and the asteroid Juno at 24 degrees Capricorn 03 (finding our personal power in the world and all our relating). Capricorn is connected with our foundation, security, and our experience in society. It is also about breaking free from limitation and restriction. That is the gift from Pluto, the Transformer. He has been very active since mid-December when Venus in Capricorn (inner intuitive knowing) joined him for her retrograde journey (Dec 19 to Jan 29). She too is involved with the Capricorn cluster at this Full Moon retrograde at 13 Capricorn. She is trine Uranus at 10 degrees Taurus (breaking through to what is of true value). The Capricorn group is ruled by Saturn at 13 degrees Aquarius. He is travelling with retrograde Mercury at 09 degrees Aquarius and they are square Uranus (breaking out of the old way of thinking and doing). Pluto supports us to release what no longer serves us. Uranus is breakthrough to the new. Saturn and Mercury in Aquarius is a new vision for society.

In the Northern Hemisphere our Animal Totem guide for the Moon and Earth in Cancer is Flicker Woodpecker who guides us through transition and transformation with all Healing Love. For the Capricorn planets we are guided by Snow Goose, following our dreams and vision. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere but available to us all when we call on them for guidance on our path.

We have a very big energy shift happened in the next two days still under the beams of this Full Moon. Jan 18 Uranus in Taurus moves forward after being retrograde since Aug 19, 2021. Uranus is considered the Awakener. Taurus is what is of true value and importance. This is also the day the True North Node (new directions) enters 29 degrees of Taurus (sharing our knowledge and truth). The Nodes always move backward. The South Node (the past) is in Scorpio (healing and releasing the past). We are in this Nodal energy until July 2023. Pay attention to what you want to break free from (Uranus in Taurus is empowering you to do so).

On Jan 19/20 the Sun enters Aquarius (giving our gifts of healing to the world). The co-rulers of this Sun Journey are Saturn in Aquarius (creating a strong foundation for the new way) and Uranus in Taurus (strengthening what is of true value and importance and breaking free from what is not).
