2022 The Sun visits Leo and The Earth visits Aquarius- 22/23 July to 22/23 August

The symbol for The Sun is a circle with a dot in the center. The circle is the infinite Universe and the dot is our individual essence self. Astrologer Gemini Brett calls the Sun “The Circle of Spirit”. The symbol for Earth is a circle containing the cross of matter. I call it “The circle of life”. It tells us we are always supported by the Infinite Universe as we experience challenges and change on the physical path. But we are made of Star Stuff. And there will be some challenges in this Solar Cycle that require us to connect with the Cosmic Guidance. The Sun in Leo is creation energy. It asks us to be centered in our compassionate hearth as we create with Loving Kindness for all. The Earth in Aquarius asks us to be cosmically conscious and share our gifts of knowledge and healing with the world.

Leo and Aquarius are active on the Tarot Constellation of Strength. The theme for this part of the journey is “Courage of your convictions, connecting with your inner strength, courage to be your true self, and strengthening your connection to Source”. And always being guided by the compassionate heart. In Esoteric Astrology they are 5^th Ray signs. It is the Ray of sharing your knowledge for healing. We are guided by Archangel Raphael, the Shinning One who Heals, and Archangel Mary, Universal Love and Unity. In times of challenge call on them to support and guide you.

In the Northern Hemisphere this is the Ripening Time on our Medicine Wheel. Our Animal Totem guide for the Leo Sun is Salmon, courage and determination to create the new. For the Earth in Aquarius we are guided by Otter, curiosity, adaptability, and joyful companionship. In the Southern Hemisphere this is your Resting and Purification Time. The animal Totems are reversed for you. For all of us the Clan Mother for Leo is She Who Heals. She is the Keeper of the healing arts and teaches us how to serve others using our healing abilities. The Clan Mother for Aquarius is Wisdom Keeper. The Mother of friendship, planetary unity, and mutual understanding. Here are some significant times during this Sun in Leo Solar Cycle.

July 28- New Moon at 05 degrees Leo. Inspired new creative energy. But Jupiter in Aries also retrogrades today until Nov 23 so review what you really want to create. Look back to May and you will know what is working and let go of what is not. Retrogrades are most potent at the time of turning backward or forwards.

July 31/Aug 01- July 31 Uranus at 18 degrees joins the North Node in Taurus (new directions and breaking through to what is of true value). Then Aug 01 Mars at 18 degrees Taurus joins them (taking positive action to break free). Venus in Cancer is the guide (mastery though change). On Aug 02 she will sextile (new opportunities) the Taurus trio. Whatever occurs it will be dynamic.

Aug 04- Mercury enters Virgo until Aug 25. Focus on mind, body, spirit healing and integration.

Aug 11- Venus enters Leo (until Sept 05). Creative expression guided by compassion. Aquarius Super Full Moon. Universal Love and Unity. Mars in Taurus sextile Neptune in Pisces. Action guided by spiritual understanding.

Aug 14- Saturn in Aquarius opposite the Sun in Leo. There may be some obstacles to breaking through to the new. Stay strong in your convictions and courage to create the new. Mars in Taurus is working in harmony with Pluto in Capricorn (releasing and transformation).

Aug 16- Mercury in Virgo trine Uranus in Taurus. Healing and breakthrough.

Aug 20- Mars enters Gemini. Focus on choosing to unite in Love. Gemini is relationship and choice. Mars retrogrades in Gemini on Oct 30 goes direct Jan 12, 2023 and finally leaves Gemini Mar 25, 2023. You might want to take notes about your experience between now and the end of Oct. It will come up for review during the retrograde. In all situations inner balance and intuitive guidance will be key.

Aug 22/23- Mercury in Virgo trine Pluto in Capricorn. Healing and transformation. Sun enters Virgo. Focus on spiritual service.
