There is a particular kind of tiredness that many people are carrying right now. Not the tiredness that comes from a long day or a bad night of sleep — but the deep, bone-level exhaustion of living in a world that seems to be simultaneously falling apart and on the edge of something miraculous. In this conversation with Alex Ferrari of Next Level Soul, Sara Landon and The Council speak directly to that exhaustion — and what it actually means.

It has been building for years. 2012. 2016. And then the 2020s arrived and the intensity has not let up. Sara's answer to why so many feel wrung out might surprise you — because it doesn't begin with the outside world. It begins with sovereignty.

According to The Council, we are now in a time of experiencing our own sovereignty — and freedom, as it turns out, is both what we want most and what we fear most. The exhaustion, Sara explains, is not the exhaustion of being overwhelmed by the outside world. It is the exhaustion of fighting for our own limitations — grasping at the story that we are powerless, that it is someone else's fault, that we cannot choose differently. When we stop fighting that battle within ourselves, something shifts. There is a collective breath. A release.

Why We Fear Our Own Power — and How to Reclaim It

Sara shares a deeply personal story to illustrate just how unconscious our fear of power can be. At seven years old, she stood on her aunt and uncle's horse farm and quietly wished, with all of her heart, to live there. Within a month, her parents divorced and she and her mother moved to exactly that farm. For years afterward, on some innocent, unexamined level, she carried the belief that her wanting — her power to choose — had hurt the people she loved.

This is how the fear of power operates. It is rarely dramatic. It is rarely conscious. It lives in the small stories we tell ourselves: I've never been good at that. Our family isn't artistic. I shouldn't want too much. These habits keep us small not because an outside force is suppressing us, but because we learned — somewhere, somehow — that being powerful gets you in trouble.

Sara's invitation: the next time you catch yourself saying "I've never been good at that," stop. Ask: is that actually true, or is that a story I learned? Play with the opposite. What if you are, in fact, good at it? What if you explore it just because it's fun? We are so much more powerful than our habits have led us to believe — and the path to reclaiming that power begins with the question Sara returns to again and again: What is this really about?

The Self-Love Crisis — and Why It Is the Most Important Practice Right Now

The Council has recently named it plainly: one of the most difficult things in the human experience is loving yourself. Not as a platitude — as a lived, practiced, moment-to-moment reality.

Most of us have an unconscious first step of denying love for ourselves. Something happens — we look tired in the mirror, we ate more dessert than we planned, something in the news upsets us — and we quietly withdraw love from ourselves. We skip the peaceful walk. We speak harshly in our own minds. We deprive ourselves of the joy that was available to us in that moment. Sara points out that if a friend spoke to us the way we speak to ourselves, we would not keep that friend in our lives.

The deeper teaching here — one The Council is very clear on — is that you are not here to give love or get love. You are here to be the source of love. When you allow that source of love for yourself first, it flows through you into everything and everyone around you. You cannot deny love for yourself and give it to someone else and feel in harmony. It does not work that way. The path to connection, to channeling, to your highest potential — all of it runs through this unwavering love for yourself.

What The Council Says Humanity Misunderstands Most

When Alex Ferrari asked The Council what humanity misunderstands most in today's world, the answer was unequivocal: that everything is your perspective and consciousness responding to you. That you have all of your energy here to serve you. That nothing in the universe is more powerful than you.

Some believe that guides, angels, or ascended beings in other dimensions are more powerful than they are. The Council says this is not true. They are all an extension of you and how you see your own power. Nothing has power over you unless you give it your power.

And then The Council offered something that reframes the entire human story: you knew this time was coming. You chose to be here precisely because this is the greatest awakening and transformation of human consciousness that would ever occur in any lifetime. You came from pure source energy, focused yourself into a physical body, and said: pick me. You knew you would come to this time of your own realization — to live as a fully sovereign, divine, eternal being, summoning your own energy, so that you would not pass those same limitations down to the generations that follow.

The Great Awakening Event — What Is Actually Coming

Both Sara and Alex sense it — something major is approaching. Alex describes it as an event that will shake humanity to its core, not in a destructive way, but in the way of an undeniable illumination. Something that cannot be unseen. Something that will shake the foundation of every old system — religion, healthcare, politics, education, money — and make it clear that the structures of the old earth no longer serve.

The Council describes it through a beautiful image: you are walking along a path, and right next to you, a parallel path becomes completely illuminated. It is so radiant, so beautiful, so filled with light that you cannot look away — and all of a sudden, you are on it. You could not have stayed on the old path even if you tried. This is the New Earth. This is the fifth dimension of pure love. The heaven on earth that has long been prophesied is going to be your lived experience.

Future generations, The Council says, will look back on this as the time of the Great Awakening — when there was a summoning of more consciousness, more light, more joy, and everything changed seemingly overnight. Those living through it now will be the ones who remember. The ones who chose to be here for it. The ones who didn't pass the old limitations forward.

The Next Evolution of the Spiritual Conversation

Near the end of the conversation, The Council offered a vision for where all of this is heading — and it is different from where we have been. For years, the conversation has been about healing, fixing, elevating, becoming. There has been tremendous value in that. But the next evolution, The Council says, is about showing what it actually looks like to live fully in the New Earth.

Not more interviews about how to heal. But people sharing their masterpieces. Showing their heaven on earth. Demonstrating what it looks like to live as an ascended master in a physical body — in joy, abundance, peace, well-being, freedom. That is the conversation that is ready to be had. And the people who are already living it, even in glimpses, are the ones who will inspire the greatest expansion this planet has ever seen.

The exhaustion is real. The intensity is real. And so is your power. So is your sovereignty. So is the love that you are the source of — if you will let yourself receive it first. You chose to be here. You are powerful. You are free. You are everything you wish to be. The illuminated path is right beside you — and you are more ready for it than you know.
