According to Amnesty International, the United States is among the 8 countries who inflict the most death penalties.

The most recent, and widely publicized, execution was of James Barber, a convicted killer in the US state of Alabama. That was last week.

Alabama had botched its last 3 attempted executions. Those likely caused unimaginable suffering and horrible pain to the condemned men. Yet the US Supreme Court refused to delay Barber’s execution. One of the dissenting judges said the court was allowing Alabama to experiment again with a human life.

We spoke of a cold-blooded murder in one of our posts many years ago. In that post we included a quote from Seth-Jane Roberts: There is never any justification for violence. There is no justification for hatred. There is no justification for murder.

All killings of human beings by other human beings are, simply, murder. It does not matter who the killer is, or what their reason for the murder is.

In our view, if the killer is a single human being, or many, or if it’s the government, it is still murder. Neither have any right to decide who will live or who will die. That is the sole right and responsibility of your Mother/Father God.
