Three weeks ago, we did a post called Graveyards. It generated some interesting thoughts and comments, on and off our website. So this week, we’re revisiting the subject.

A few nights ago, Johnny had a vivid dream. When morning came, he recalled it in detail.

In the dream, he was speaking with a young woman he knew who had died a few days earlier.

Linda (not her real name) felt lost and alone. So Johnny was helping her get adjusted to her new life beyond the physical world.

It was a pleasant experience for both of them.

Many people, after physical death, do feel lost and alone, as Linda did. Of course, that feeling is only temporary. For you are never truly lost or alone.

Those of you still in physical form, especially if you’re spiritually aware, often travel to the realms of spirit (to “the other side,” if you prefer) to help those newly passed over who may feel lost.

You do this in the dream state, as Johnny did. You also do it in a meditative state, and even when you are fully conscious in your physical bodies.

So what does this have to do with graveyards?

Well, obviously, graveyards are a symbol, and a hope, for humans to show them there truly is life beyond the grave. While your physical bodies rest in their graves, you—the spirit—are still very much alive. Though you may feel lost at first.

Those “lost” spirits often “hang around” in graveyards because they haven’t yet fully realized they are no longer in a physical body. But someone will come to these spirits quickly to help them.

You are never without help. You are never lost. You are never alone.
