It’s a tough time to be a human on Planet Earth today. So many are feeling lost and broken. Perhaps you’re one of them.

You’ve likely heard that tired old cliche, “No one promised you a rose garden.” Many interpret that to mean what one of Johnny’s old friends used to say—“Life’s a bitch, then you die.”

That’s a pretty sad, depressing outlook on life. But it’s the experience of many who feel lost and broken.

So is life on earth meant to be a joyless, tragic, and sad experience? NO!

You’ve merely forgotten who you are and why you chose to come here. You—your true self—are the reason you are on Planet Earth at this momentous time in your world’s history.

We’ve said before, but it bears repeating:
Your true self can never be hurt, lost, or broken. It’s impossible.

Therefore, when you feel hurt, lost, or broken, you’ve simply forgotten who you are. As A Course in Miracles says, I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me. I will be still an instant and go home.

God created you whole, powerful, and joyful. Or, to put it another way, S/He created you in His/Her image. You are God. Your true selves are God.

God cannot be lost or broken. When you remember that, you can never be lost or broken. What you see “out there” in the world is illusion. As A Course in Miracles says, Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.
