Spirit Message - What Is Love?
- Details
- Written by John Cali

Love does not discriminate. Love does not separate. Love does not attack in any way. It is a peaceful extension of All That Is….Love is always there. That benevolent force is always there….”
Those words are excerpted from Tina Spalding’s book, Jesus: My Autobiography.
Spirit
“Love” is perhaps the most abused and misused word in the English language.
When you use the word (perhaps more than you consciously realize), do you know what you’re saying?
When you tell someone “I love you,” are you fully aware of the word’s true meaning?
In many cases, the honest answer to those two questions is “No.”
As the introduction to this post states, love is a “benevolent source.”
So it would behoove you to think about the true meaning of “love” before you use the word again.
Here are a few ideas you might consider:
- Love is the most powerful force in the universe.
- Love is what binds you together in oneness with all your brothers and sisters.
- Love binds you together with all sentient beings.
- Love binds you together with all life—trees, plants, flowers, insects, the birds of the air, the fishes of the seas.
- Simply stated, love is all that is. Love is God, Goddess.
- It’s that simple and that profound.

In this video, Dr. Christiane Northrup gives one of our favorite explanations of love’s true meaning and how you can easily tap into its vast powers.

In the early 1980s, John took a spiritual development course and was introduced to his first spirit guide, Lydia. After Lydia arrived, three other guides also came to him: Archangel Michael, Tamarra, and Chief Joseph. Today these are John’s four main guides. Besides his four main ones, John has various other guides. The entire group is really a multidimensional collective consciousness. John refers to the entire group simply as “Spirit.” Source
