The Heavens Respond
Should we euthanize terminally ill pets?
Dear Mr. Kassl,
First, heartfelt thanks for your work. I have followed you for many years. The messages you bring into the world are immensely important and, especially in these times, so comforting and uplifting for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Now to my question for the Spiritual World: Is it right to euthanize a terminally ill pet?
I struggle greatly with this question. On one hand, I see how the animal suffers and merely lingers; on the other hand, I ask myself: “Who am I to decide over life or death?” Even with good intentions, I do not know my pet’s soul plan. Perhaps this topic has already been raised by others, and it would be wonderful if there were a message about it that could be included in your book.
Thank you very much and warm regards from your still deeply troubled neighboring country,
Helga
P.S. The first podcast was wonderful, and I look forward to more.
Pauli
JJK: We, too, faced this difficult decision when the time came for Hannelore’s dog. Just a few months after Hannelore returned to the Light, her dog Pauli fell ill. She developed a tumor, could barely walk, and her advanced age clearly showed that her time had come. So, what to do? Prolong the suffering, when every day was pure torment for Pauli? We decided to have Pauli euthanized. Did we interfere with her soul plan in an impermissible way?
Master Kuthumi: Physical suffering is not part of a soul plan, neither for humans nor for animals.
This idea, this concept, was part of the old matrix that led people to believe it.
Suffering, regardless of its cause, is not a divine aspect and is never willed by God.
The Human
Due to their free will, humans are capable of enduring physical suffering or choosing to end it. Free will stands above all, and no religion or ideology has the authority to interfere with this freedom. Every person chooses life, loves life, and is full of life. But what happens when life ebbs from the body, when it dissipates, and the body becomes a bundle of pain?
JJK: It is said that God gives life and God takes life.
Master Kuthumi: And what is your role as a part of God? Realize what you are. You are infinite divine consciousness. You have a body, but you are not a body! When and how you relinquish your body is your decision. Whether psychological or physical pain leads a person to leave their body early: both are up to the individual, and no one on this earth has the right to judge or condemn.
Truth is: Suffering and pain are not teachers; rather, they serve to chastise humanity. Suffering and pain beget more suffering and pain. Abandon these mindsets, let go of the concept of suffering, and consider this: Joy allows you to breathe, and only love brings happiness! Where is the place of pain? You do not know it.
Final Guidance
JJK: So, with animals, we may intervene to end their suffering. If there’s no other way, then yes!?
Master Kuthumi: Decide freely, decide with your heart, decide in love! For when only pain remains, the soul plan of an animal has long been fulfilled!
