This quote from William LePar’s spiritual source, The Council explains that it is God’s love for us that causes Him to allow us to follow our own path. However, He is always close by to offer us help if we want it.

The Council: 

The Strength and Power of God is awesome, and when He has a specific portion of His Plan in action, nothing will deter it—nothing. If He was willing to allow humankind to inflict torture, injustice, and hate upon His own Son to help each of you, that should serve as a demonstration of His Love. But it should also be a demonstration of His Power and how He will not allow anything or anybody to deprive Him of His Children.

And so, He has given us great knowledge and great power. However, we will not use that power unless He personally indicates for us to do so. If He does give the indication, it will be for very serious situations.

The Father demonstrates His Love constantly—constantly. He even allows some of you to wonder and think, "Is it real? Could it be fake? Why is it happening to me? Why is this whole situation taking place?" This is His way of allowing you to search your soul, to re-examine your choices, and to give you more and more opportunities to change your mind anytime you wish.

Do you understand how much He loves you? How much He wants you back with Him? He allowed a very special portion of Himself to enter this dense, vile existence you call life, knowing that all of you would spit on Him, strike Him, call Him names, and subject Him to one of the most agonizing deaths.

For what reason? So that you would have a bridge to cross over into the heavenly realms and be with Him.

We pray that all of you realize the deep love He has for you. We truly pray that you recognize His great love for you.
