In this third part courtship time is discussed. William LePar’s spiritual source, The Council gives us guidelines and a little insight into the activities beyond the conscious mind.

Questioner:  You talked about proper courtship time.  Is this an individual basis?  It would depend on the individual, how long this courtship time would be?

The Council:  In actuality, yes, but one could say that a safe overall average would be in a period of eighteen months to twenty-four months.  Now, that is only an average, only an average.  There are some who could take twice that long in learning or realizing whether they are compatible with another person and still not be able to make a mature decision on it because they lack initially the maturity, but we would say, safely speaking, that would be an average.

Q:  This commitment that you defined earlier.  Is this first made on the soul level and then in the physical?

C:  Of course.  Whenever you come into a life, you have made arrangements prior to your actual birth.  Now, that does not mean that you are in a situation where it is completely unchangeable, as we have said before.  There are situations where you can make conscious decisions against what you as a soul being or spirit being has chosen to do.
