Firstly, SENDING MY OVERFLOWING GRATITUDE FOR YOU, DEAR ONE! 

Thanksgiving Day is a celebration here in the USA - not of politics - but of the heart that is brimming over with appreciation for all that makes up life.

This is such wonderful energy, and so I wanted to shine the Light of it out to you. This holiday was dedicated by the First President, George Washington, who's heart was brimming with the excitement of equitable intention for a new nation under God (Source/All There Is).

The Universal Laws remind us that what we send out energetically is what we receive back. So, thoughts and words that are of the highest vibration help create lives of harmony for all.

There are books written about how these principles work: The Secret, The Science of the Spoken Word, and one that my friend Kay introduced to me called: The Complete Works of Florence Shinn which include her books: The Game of Life and How to Play It, Your Word is Your Wand, The Secret Door to Success, and The Power of the Spoken Word.

We all desire a better world, and if you're reading this, you know the importance of maintaining the highest vibration possible in your daily life. This is done by keeping the energy vibration in the octaves of Love, which includes compassion, understanding, care, gentleness, hope, harmony, and peace.

It's our greatest challenge, and therefore also brings forth massive change when we choose to make the changes that shift into those higher octaves - and GRATITUDE is a wonderful tool for that.

Growing up, at each Thanksgiving dinner, my Dad (who, in his passing, now blesses us from the realms beyond), would read the First Thanksgiving Proclamation before we'd sit down to feast on the marvelous cornucopia of food that my Mom had been lovingly preparing all day. (This is a day where you could smell abundance!! A delicious, yummy plenitude of cuisine).

And after reading that Proclamation (which touched his heart deeply as he read it to us), he guided each one of us to share something we are thankful for. This tradition, within the larger holiday celebration has continued on in our family throughout the years, and thus I share it now with you.

Whether you live in the USA or not, there's a wonderful universal message for all - intended by the ancestors many hundreds of years ago:

First Thanksgiving Proclamation

Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His Will, to be grateful for his benefits and humbly to implore his protection and favor, and

Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.

Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of November to be devoted by the people of these states to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rending unto Him our service and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country precious to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war, for the great degree of tranquility, union and plenty which we have since enjoyed, for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions, to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our duties properly and punctually, to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a government of wise, just and constitutionals laws, discreetly and faithfully executed an obeyed; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among us; and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.

The celebration of Thanksgiving Day now falls on the last Thursday of November each year.
