Have you ever subtly judged yourself for not being in tune with your intuition simply because you aren’t hearing instructions continually pouring down from the heavens — as if intuitive knowing is supposed to be a voice in your head regularly correcting your decisions?

If you’ve ever had this experience, you certainly aren’t alone. In the name of clarity, let’s embrace intuition from a brand-new perspective.

Since many people grow up in families where the importance of decision-making begins with experiences of reward and punishment, it becomes nearly instinctive to project such memories onto a higher celestial presence. Just like in many families, you may have learned to be nourished by any degree of attention, no matter how much you wished the negative attention was more rooted in supportive encouragement. When you learn to be nourished by any degree of attention, it is the absence of attention that can make you question yourself, feel as if you’ve done something wrong, and even conspire how to get back in the better graces of whichever parent or person represents your prime source of approval.

In the same way, when not constantly corrected by the Universe and bossed around by a voice in your head, the absence of any degree of feedback can cause you to imagine you’ve veered so off-course that the Universe must be stunned in silence by your outrageous spree of decision-making. And yet, far differently than any conditional love you may have experienced in your upbringing, the Universe offers you the time and space to navigate your journey; honoring the free will you’ve been given to determine the fate of how you find your way throughout a destiny always cheering you on and lovingly receiving you. The journey you are on is an adventure of destiny you cannot get wrong in any way.

The choices you make and the reasons for those decisions create the emotional climate of your journey that we call fate. This allows reality to be the space where fate and destiny meet. If the Universe was to constantly correct your choices, it would indicate you have nothing more to learn from the characters or environments in view. And yet, if there was no further purpose or meaning to be received, you would already find yourself in a brand-new set of circumstances that any previous environment prepared you to explore.

No matter how uncertain the world of ego appears, now is the time to liberate yourself from believing the Universe created you just to have someone to boss around. Instead, may the Universe be your all-knowing source of clarity, insight, and loving support that gracefully guides you along the pathways of your choosing as you decide the roads you take throughout a destiny far more perfectly designed than you may have ever fathomed it to be. The Universe cannot help you avoid discomfort, nor does it wish for you to be in pain. It simply yearns to help you co-create the most exquisite series of events that allows you to feel safe in your openness without confusing safety for the need to regularly control your surroundings.

In truth, just because you aren’t hearing a steady stream of guidance showering you from the heavens, it doesn’t mean you are cut off from Source, separate from divinity, or navigating life with a broken set of chakras. Instead, the silence of Universal will invites you to become more open and curious about the life in view instead of more fearful, skeptical, or judgmental of it.

All too often, the instructions of the Universe are not which direction to pursue as an exit strategy from the circumstances you are in. Such instructions are helping you learn how to fully be alive in these very circumstances as a more empowered, grounded, and heart-centered expression of you. Knowing, as you allow the very environments you visit on a regular basis to be the perfect opportunities to be as open and receptive to this version of life as you would be in your most ideal reality, you invite the winds of change to move you farther along the path of your highest destiny — more aligned with faith, more connected to truth, and more aware of the miracles occurring on your behalf than ever before. Equally so, when feeling shut down by how unworthy or invisible you feel, disillusioned by life, lost in the patterning of mind, paralyzed by fear, or bewildered by the behavior of others, these are the exact moments to open up to the unconditional love of Source that created free will as an entry point into an endless of depth of love always alive within you. As you reconnect with love, may each “I love you” be offered to the aspects of self that don’t have to love the experiences they are in to allow the unconditional love of Source to uplift the climate of any circumstance.

No matter which problems in life you yearn to fix, or how often you doubt the navigation of your journey, may this moment be a chance to celebrate the majestic presence of a Universe always guiding you forward through a language of presence. May you honor this moment of divine appointment and energetic recalibration by allowing the one always being guided by Source to be nurtured, loved, cherished, and supported through the higher frequencies of love you are now ready to embody.
