The Grandmothers: Give to Others What You Have Received From Us

The Grandmothers gathered around me and said, “We called you to us and brought you together so you might do for the world what we are doing for you. We have made a place of rest and comfort for you. A steady place, full of love, peace and uplift. And It’s our desire that, wherever and whenever you can, you also provide this place of rest and comfort for others.
Our generosity to you is also your generosity to others. Our love is your love. We are ‘teaching’ you by our example, by the way we behave with you. We always enfold you, are always happy to see you and to be with you. And we ask that you give out this same welcoming to life. Give to others what you have received from us. That is how to live. It’s simple.
“We are exactly as you are,” the Grandmothers said. “There is no difference between us except in the false attitudes you carry. You have been covered in layers of fear, shame, and anger. False perceptions of yourself and false perception of others have blanketed you since birth. You were taught that all that stuff is your own. It’s not true and we know it isn’t because we see you as you really are. We see you free from all conditioning.
“The conditioning is phony and it will become increasingly easy to spot because it always gives a bad feeling of some kind. Trust instead in the good feelings inside you. Trust in what supports and blesses your life. Trust the loving kindness in yourself and in others. And while you’re at it, forgive those who get caught up in meanness and cruelty. They are lost so, unless they are able to add some goodness to your life, don’t spend more time than you need to with them. In general, give happiness, seek happiness and go where you can do some good. Serve the ones you can help and don’t waste your time with other stuff.
“We understand that during these times much of your ‘service’ will need to take place at a distance—for instance, in prayer and calling down blessings on others. But soon you will be able to be out in the world again and be able to be more active in service. For now, however, keep your mind a clean, well-lighted place and love others from a distance.”
Note from Sharon:
This came to me after I received this message — how accessible the Grandmothers are and how very humanly and humanely divine they are. And they are this way so we as humans, can relate to them. The Grandmothers really are us—us at our best. And they are indeed divine. Here they are today, singing to us, walking around with us, embodying the oneness between ourselves and God. And we don’t have to go far to find them.
They’re the Grandmothers, for heaven’s sake! So they’re right here, right now. They don’t live only in churches, shrines or temples. They live with us, ride in our cars, walk down the street with us, work in the kitchen with us. They aren’t deities to be worshipped from afar. They are here. Now! No further than your next breath.
