How Grief Paves the Path to Peace

Greetings, Luminous One!
What a week it's been...
It was noted in our Infinity Circle astrology that the Piscean Full Moon yesterday would be an emotional one, and here we are in the midst of the death of a beloved world figure while also re-confronting the 9/11 disaster.
Heavy emotions, indeed!
It's one thing to deal with personal loss, which is hard enough, but when we tap into collective loss, it can feel overwhelming. It's hard to imagine manifesting world peace when we feel this way...
Our first response might be to power on over it, to push the avalanche aside, even though that can take a lot of inner finagling - denial is energy expensive. Understandably, we just don't like going into places that hurt.
But I believe there's a purpose in these strong feelings and we humans were given them for a reason... perhaps there's a cleansing that's needed, a deep reckoning with where we've gone wrong before we can correct course and go right.
Maybe this is a moment to just let the grief flow...
“We all want to do something to mitigate the pain of loss or to turn grief into something positive, to find a silver lining in the clouds. But I believe there is real value in just standing there, being still, being sad.” -John Green
So, be sad, if that's where you are today... but use it wisely.
Let it be productive - let it roll through you while keeping your heart attuned to any lessons to be gained from the experience: does it reveal places where you still feel victimized? Does it trigger anger or a lack of self-worth?
If so, these are the road signs pointing to where healing still needs to occur. This is the real silver lining that usually can't be accessed unless our hearts are opened by sorrow.
Back in July we explored how Acceptance is the first step on the path to inner Peace by acknowledging imperfections and loving anyway.
So, after you've mined whatever you can from your explorations, I suggest using this Infinity Wave short meditation, Widening the Heart, to allow the Love and Compassion of the Wave to bathe your heart back into Peace through Acceptance of who you REALLY are, a magnificent beacon of Light.
Then, go out and spread that Light on someone or something you love to recover the...
Please join me tomorrow night for Monday Meditation at 7:30EDT.
With infinite love and blessings,
Hope
