February Astrology 2025

February’s celestial dance brings Venus-Neptune-North Node in Pisces, sparking creativity, compassion, and divine connections, while Jupiter’s direct station amplifies growth and bold new beginnings~AndEl

On February 2^nd there is a combination of Venus with Neptune both combining with the north node in Pisces. This is a very creative signature for art, compassion, empathy, and connecting with inner and outer other dimensions. The north node is about making connections and moving forward, Venus in Pisces is creative and knows the value of putting time and energy into areas of life that bring divine happiness and are not necessarily practical.

Neptune is towards the end of its journey in Pisces and is currently the void planet, meaning having the last say before the moon changes signs. Neptune has been and will continue to be a major factor in the world scene obscuring what has really been going on while those with vested interest have been putting their version of what they want forward to appear rosy in order to hide the reality of nefarious actions.

We have entered into February with Venus just moving into her shadow in late Pisces with Neptune and the node. In a few days (the 4^th) Venus will enter Aries, the sign she will retrograde from in March, with the urge to go after what is most precious for you. There is a fighting atmosphere with Venus in Aries, she is willing to stand up for what she wants and not back down. This can lead to more independence along the lines of its ok if you don’t want to do, go, or have xyz but I do and I’ll do it by myself rather than not doing it at all.

Jupiter stations direct on the 4^th amplifying its natal ability. Jupiter always wants to make whatever it touches to expand and grow. Being in Gemini, the sign of the twins, ideas, talking, and connections will have polar opposites. Much of what you will hear will not necessarily have any truth or substance to the rhetoric but will certainly provide a plethora of ideas to mull over.

The boost of help from Jupiter, known as the great benefic, will work best in the areas of life such as education, travel, sharing your ideas, and brainstorming. If you have been wanting to reach out on a social media platform for connections this is a great week to do so. Jupiter will be very prominent in 2025 as the north node of the moon, (where we make connections and the path forward) is in the sign of Pisces throughout 2025 with the traditional ruler of Pisces being Jupiter. Meditating during this time you will receive insight on where your greatest growth will unfold in the year ahead.

The full moon in Leo on the 12^th has the planet Uranus changing the natural dynamics of Leo’s emphasis on sharing from and following your heart. With the maverick Uranus in the mix, unexpected situations, romantically and otherwise, can crack open your heart as easily as it can break your heart. This is a time for inner awareness and healing your heart of new and old hurts, whether they are minor or major. The Sabian symbol for the moon is by Rudhyar is “A Large Camel Is Seen Crossing A Vast And Forbidding Desert.”  This is a reminder that even when moving through tough times you have the fortitude and inner capacity to traverse the distance while moving towards your oasis.

On a happy note this is a fabulous full moon to be wild and free. The energy is about trying something new and unique without inhibitions and gathering inner confidence to do life your way. Dancing naked under the full moon, or other such crazy thoughts, might all of a sudden become appealing.

The sun moves into Pisces of the 18^th with the moon in sister sign Scorpio and Venus and Uranus is a semi square to each other. The entrance into Pisces time is deep, intuitive, with an urge to break free of controlling circumstances, especially on the financial side.

Mars finally moves direct at 17 degrees of Cancer on the 23^rd ending its long retrograde cycle. Cancer rules the domain of emotional well-being, housing and family issues. If you have been contemplating what to do over any of these areas now that Mars is direct answers and actions become easier.

The month of February ends with the new moon at 9 degrees of Pisces. The Sabian symbol for the new moon is An Aviator Pursues His Journey, Flying Through Ground-Obscuring Clouds.

This is a wonderful symbol to remind us all to listen to the internal compass to guide towards the destination even when the end or path ahead is hard see. Mercury and Jupiter are in each others signs, called mutual reception, and this is a time that your imagination and creative thought processes will have great impact and success once set into motion.
