This Week's Astrology
The astrology this week brings a combination of vision, inspiration, enthusiasm, as well as practicality. There’s a tension here that’s asking us to bring our inspirations into reality. You may feel pulled in many directions, and a pressure to make something real. The astrology this week includes:
Mercury square Neptune
Thinking with great imagination and creativity on what’s truly possible when you set your mind to something grand. And also feeling totally lost at the same time. Neptune blurs the mind. Mercury-Neptune signals incredible vision, creativity, and inspiration while also being ungrounded and out of touch with consensus reality.
Mercury square Saturn
Practical thoughts about what you want to create in this life. Mercury-Saturn is concerned with what’s real, what works, what doesn’t, and where you want to make changes. This aspect can signal great motivation and mental stamina, and it can also show a time where self-confidence is challenged if we don’t feel good enough in some way.
Mercury square Ceres
Thinking about what differentiates you from others, your family system, and your culture. The asteroid goddess Ceres is a symbol of rites of passage into adulthood (literally and emotionally). It shows a call to differentiate (to claim your own ideas and to follow your own unique calling).
Mercury sextile Venus
Helpful support, healing, and beauty are available to you. Seek comfort in beautiful things to sooth your mind.
Venus square Pluto
Diving deep into relational dynamics. Venus-Pluto asks us to be ruthlessly real with ourselves. Pluto exposes the hidden, the unconscious. This often feels internally confronting but ultimately helps us feel more vibrant and whole when we can integrate unconscious material in a safe space.
You may become aware of unconscious relationship patterns, especially when it comes to themes of power, control, autonomy, and anything hidden from your awareness.
Venus opposite Vesta
Balancing the seemingly opposing qualities of being in relationship vs. connecting with your Self. The asteroid goddess Vesta is a symbol of inner vitality, home, hearth, the inner fire, and the spark that keeps us feeling safe, whole, and connected to something deeper inside.
Venus-Vesta helps us find “home” in relationship and may also show us ways that we want to adjust to feel more centered.
Mars square Uranus
Liberation of your passion! Mars-Uranus tends to show where our anger, directness, frustration, boundaries, passion, physicality, and our literal or metaphorical “no” is released in a way that feels spontaneous, freeing, and unbounded.
You may feel called to express yourself in new and unexpected ways. Physical activity, movement, and saying “no” are all great channels for this aspect.
Mars trine Chiron
Channeling your power and passion creates a healing experience.
Full Moon in Sagittarius
Wednesday, June 11th at 12:44am PT at 20 degrees Sagittarius
Feeling expansive, optimistic, and growth-oriented. You may feel a culmination of energy or activities, especially around things that began in this lunar cycle (at the New Moon in late May 2025), in the last six months (at the New Moon in Sagittarius in November 2024), or in the last year (at the last Full Moon in Sagittarius in May 2024).
You are always growing, shifting, and transforming over long term and short-term cycles. This week is a time of blooming, blossoming, and moving more fully into your potential, within many cycles.
Jupiter moves into Cancer
Monday, June 9th at 2:02pm PT
The function of expansion, growth, optimism, support from others, and philosophical or big-picture thinking shifts into a new energy that’s feeling-based, intuitive, and initiatory. This marks the beginning of a new journey in how you grow, learn, and gain wider perspectives.
Jupiter square Saturn
Taking a grand vision and making it real. Jupiter is the broader perspective and enthusiasm while Saturn is the long term and practical planning function. Together, they invoke a desire to create something grand. How can you hold space for the big picture as well as the many steps ahead?
Reflection Questions For This Week
- How can you hold space for the full potential as well as the reality of a situation?
- What is your heart saying right now?
- How are you being called to expand, grow, and individuate?
