The next two weeks opens many channels and types of love, with stabilized specialization featured as an essential factor in the “Buddha Wisdom” coming forth at this time. This will be a very productive Full Moon, with spontaneous radiations of heart power coming forth.

This month is an interesting mix of very favorable as well as frictional aspects. Because of the Earth and Water trines, our planets in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces will all be favorably impacted. The friction and release vectors come via Mercury square Mars and Venus semisquare Uranus and square Neptune. Add Uranus back in a biseptile to Pluto, and we have hit another fork in the road of destiny!

The Eclipse Factor

Last Summer’s Solar Eclipse, as well as the Christmas Solar Eclipse and the January Lunar Eclipse, continue to take away everything which would block our ability to accept a “mantle of power” so that our Light can take shape as a new form of Truth, freedom, compassion, and obedience to Dharma. We’re always “under the beams” of recent Eclipses, as well as older ones. These “Cosmic Recyclers” are always helping us eliminate what we no longer need to deal with related to the sign and house they fell in.

Most recently, we’ve been shutting something down we no longer need in life areas symbolized by Cancer and Capricorn. The Nodes are the keys to understand how we’re accepting and growing, and what we’re demonstrating or letting go of. The Total Solar Eclipse of July 2019 at 11 Cancer has already begun to strip away all which would inhibit our sense of humor or irony. It’s also exposing others’ “ego pomposity” and resumptions, giving them a chance to take a breath and not take themselves so seriously.

Along with the Christmas 2019 Solar Eclipse at 5 Capricorn, we’re also still experiencing past Solar Eclipse “cosmic recycling” wherever we have 16 Capricorn, 21 Cancer and 19 Leo, due to Eclipses on these degrees. The endings of 2018 and 2019 helped us get organized, exploring what success really means to us, and letting go of old “social rigidities” to be happier.

All these Solar Eclipses, along with others, have allowed us to “shed skins” wherever we have 9, 19, and 30 Pisces, 28 Aquarius, along with 29 Leo, 10 Virgo, and 21 Virgo. As you can see, that involves a large part of our charts! I gave you all the Solar Eclipse links in the first article on the Christmas Solar Eclipse, specifying which are done and which are still in play.

A good meditation would be to take a look back at how something related to that axis in your chart has left and been replaced with something new. All our losses associated with these signs have left voids which will attract life contents more appropriate to who we are now. Alternately, you may be feeling a void because someone else really isn’t there. Now it’s time to turn to what will nourish you.

Evolutionary Configurations

We have several important evolutionary configurations this month! The first two involve the Lunation, with Saturn cutting the opposition into a quintile and tredecile, and the other involving the Lunation and Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto making sextiles and trines creating a “four note chord” of very favorable and productive energies. Again, this will be very harmonious to any planets we have in the last half of the Earth and Water signs.

We have a third configuration which introduces a “cutting, grinding, and polishing” energy as Venus semisquares Uranus and squares Neptune, creating an Octile configuration which will bring internal friction and decisions to be made in our Taurus and Libra sectors through activity challenging us wherever we have 4-9 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, as well as 19-24 Gemini, Virgo, Sag, and Pisces. This is the “Rhombus Diamond” configuration I have spoken of in other articles.

Remember that because Venus will retrograde in a few days, this semisquare and square will continue for a while. We’ll get another retrograde pass through this energy the third week of May, which will help us navigate the mutable squares of the first half of June. This will finally be resolved by early August.

Interestingly, though Mercury is square Mars, the Lunation is not. The Sun makes a binovile, and the Moon makes a Trielftile, frustrating the T-square energy of the signs themselves. So the integration principle is not there, instead bringing two different spiritual aspect energies to the Wisdom coming forth at this Full Moon.

The Rhombus

As you’ve read before, a very powerful evolutionary configuration is happening during 2019-2021 which involves Uranus and Neptune in a long term semisquare. When Uranus went retrograde at 7 Taurus in the Summer of 2019, it began to semisquare Neptune which anchors the off-again, on-again friction Rhombus Diamond configuration. It is activated each time any planet or the Moon moves through 4-9 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius and 19-24 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, as well as. In this chart it is activated by Venus square Neptune and semisquare Uranus.

If you have a planet in any of these 8 zones, then as various planets move through any of the other zones, it generates a lot of friction, “cutting, grinding, and polishing us to perfection.” An exact Rhombus Diamond configuration is made every time there is a planet is in mid-Virgo opposing Neptune at the same time another planet in Scorpio opposed Uranus, with double semisquares and sesquisquares created between those planets. Right now with three legs active, it’s perfected every time the Moon is 4-9 Scorpio and 19-24 Virgo at the same time the Ascendant or Midheaven in the other sector.

Major Aspects

Besides the various aspects I gave you related to the evolutionary configurations mentioned upstream, forming (or partile separating) inner planet aspects include Mercury semisextile Venus; Venus is bielftile the Sun and biquintile Jupiter; and the Sun is binovile Mars.

Outer planet forming and partile separating aspects include Jupiter in a frustrated conjunction with Saturn and frustrated septile with Neptune, and conjunct Pluto; Saturn is in a frustrated square to Uranus, and as noted Uranus is semisquare Neptune and biseptile Pluto. Obviously the aspects made from Jupiter out are long term influences.

We have more specializing and spiritual aspects in play this Full Moon. Of the series related to destiny and “fate,” we have only the 1 biseptile, which is extraordinarily powerful. In the 9th and 11th harmonic series related to spiritual realizations, we have 1 binovile, and and 1 binoviles, as well as 2 bielftiles and 1 trielftile. This month the specializing aspects feature 2 quindeciles, 2 quintiles, 2 tredeciles, and 1 biquintile.

For those new to the craft, quintiles and biquintiles are 5th harmonic aspects, septiles and triseptiles are 7th harmonic aspects, noviles are 9th harmonic aspects, deciles (semi-quintiles) and tredeciles are 10th harmonic aspects, the elftile series are 11th harmonic aspects, the quindecile is a 15th harmonic aspect, and the vigintile is a 20th harmonic aspect. Each of these has a unique function in the phase relationship of the two planets in aspect.

The 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th harmonic aspects are specializing and bring forth partially or fully developed quintessential elements of the planets involved. The 7th harmonic aspects help us make choices to fulfill our destiny, and the novile series aspects (9th harmonic) represent entry or exit points of periods of gestation which can bring forth possible spiritual developments. The 11th harmonic aspects involve situations where there is a need to transcend and master some form of duality by making a leap of faith.

The various aspects in all these different harmonic series indicate points where the theme of the Whole Cycle becomes clear, whether through major developments or minor refinements in the process. Each aspect shows a phase relationship, specific to the special and unique circumstances of that particular Whole Cycle. It's how we can know when to work, when to play, when to create, when to imagine, when to have faith, and when to mobilize!

Element Balance

This Eclipse continues our extremely imbalanced element distribution. Of the traditional 10 planets, there is no planet in Fire signs, 2 in Water, 5 in Earth, and 3 in Air. This brings us into a predominance of Earth (Practicality and Grounding), with a healthy dose of Air (Relatedness and Communications) and Water (Feelings and Experiencing Life on Deep Levels), and no Fire (Inspiration and Light).

With the Sun in Earth and the Moon in Water, those elements are the primary focus of the Lunation. Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, we have a very cool time ahead, with only the intensity of the Moon in Scorpio but no Fire to create steam power. The Earth of the Sun and Mercury will soon be replaced with the Air of Gemini, so enjoy this simple practical focus, seeing how to be organized and disciplined as you graduate into a new realm of Being!

The current sequence at present of Deciding, Feeling, and Thinking

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. This Lunation generates a new pattern. As a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequence” for approaching life and experience over the next 4 weeks involves leading with our deciding, then thinking, and then feeling.

This pattern is extraordinarily strong in its decision making ability! It leads with a decision and acts with force. This leads to an understanding, vision, or analytical perceptions because of what’s been done. While this pattern is more comfortable moving between doing and thinking, deciding and communicating, instead of acting based on ideas, we must now learn to get to our feeling-experience around what we just saw, heard, or understood. When we go deep enough and understand what we are experiencing, then we will know what to do. Do not look to the mind to know what to do; feel your feelings to know what to do.

When you are moved to act or make a decision, it will naturally lead to an idea, vision, perception, or understanding. This should be followed by a time of solitude and reflection where we can identify what we’re feeling and experiencing. Once we identify what we’re experiencing, we’ll naturally be moved to act, which in turn will lead to newer information, newer ideas, newer interpretations, and newer views. So let your “right action” lead you to thinking and communicating and envisioning, and feel what you must to come to a new decision.

Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend

Because Saturn is in its home sign of Aquarius, it is the final dispositor of all planets transiting Capricorn and Aquarius from now through 2023. That makes it a dominant force through April 2022. And because Jupiter is in Capricorn, Saturn again dominates the planetary stage as the final dispositor for the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto in this Wesak chart. This influence will last for a while, since Saturn rules Mars until it enters Aries in late June.

Remember that while Saturn can feel heavy, it is also our ability to take command of our lives and destiny by using Saturn’s virtues in the right way and time. Our ability to steer our “ship of personality” into its rightful “current of destiny” is in front of us, based in how we have prepared for our “role of destiny” heading at us like an express train! In 2019 we rehearsed and perfected roles and skills we’ll need in 2020 and beyond as part of the Saturn-Uranus “dance of individualization” in our lives. We’ve begun to crystallize present and future rewards, as well as new group work and roles opening new chapters in our “hero’s journey” into our new quality of Being awakened by Uranus.

Summing it Up

This Full Moon marks the beginning of a new Wisdom teaching for the world! Since mid-January we’ve ended many long cycles and begun new ones which show the structure of “a new quality of Being rendering the old pattern obsolete.” We’ve already launched into forms of transfiguration and are “graduating into a new realm of Being.” We’re in a long wave metamorphosis, and are finding ourselves exactly where we need to be at the beginning of the end of the Age of Pisces, entering into 35 years of increasing manifestations of the Age of Aquarius.

What do you care for? What do you care about? Remember you are part of the One Life we all are together. This is a time to feel the surge of Life and Light in a renewal of the initiating Fire, while joining with others in the pre-formed patterns of the future.

We’ll be “cleaning out the closets of the mind” and examining many parts of our lives we have not looked at in a long time. How we transfigured in 2018 and 2019 will determine how we give form to the Lunar focus of the Wesak Full Moon. We are still collectively dancing into a greater awareness of our part to play in the new era, while currently dealing with a “cosmic visitation” which has begun to “galvanize us to action, liberating us from adverse conditions.”

With Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn all about to go retrograde, it continues to be a great time to go within, to communicate with ourselves and our Highest Self. The compression of the first 3 months of the year set up the open conflict coming later this year which will last through 2022. Remember this entire year is one of transition from a 200 year Earth Era toward a 200 year Air Era which launches in December 2020 at the Grand Mutation!

The multiple conjunctions in Capricorn between mid-January through late March brought tremendous fusions of future cycles and alter both inner and outer space for years to come. These Capricorn conjunctions involved many house rulers converging wherever we have late Capricorn in our charts. Now that we’ve hit May, the trines from Taurus to Capricorn are naturally stabilizing those Capricorn imperatives in the “4 note chord of consciousness” I spoke of earlier.

Mars is about to launch us into our “graduation into a new realm of Being” as we begin the final season of humanity’s “liberating ordeal.” All of us have had opportunities to find new inner strengths and powers the past two years, and have the ability to find assistance from Devas and Angels who bring “divine help when human efforts seem to fail.” Again, learn the power of forgiveness to create space for Grace to enter your Life. When new adventures beckon, embrace them with warmth, since you might find Spiritual Brothers and Sisters from past lives along the way!

Having blended the old with the new, the traditional with the innovative, we now can live an adventure in higher awareness where we can demonstrate expertise in fulfilling Dharma, or our purpose for being alive. We are living a new identity, a new love, a new spiritual awareness, and a new spiritual expression in grounded ways, so keep your mind and heart open and keep coordinating your body, feelings, and mind to demonstrate a stable and harmonized Soul energy.

A Meditation on Light and Shadow

Because life seems to be a never-ending experience of out-breathing elements of the past and in-breathing elements of the new, it is useful to remember that when we are moving through major changes, and something new is introduced into our lives, it means that something else must leave, or has already left, to provide space for the new to be embraced. And lesser wisdom must give way to greater wisdom, and old forms give way to newer realities.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
