The trait that truly defines an Empath is feeling the emotions that belong to others. Yet, there is so much more to them.

Empaths are complex. They are enigmatic, yet often misunderstood. Their life story is generally a collection of unusual experiences that sets them apart from others.

Deep down, most Empaths feels they are here to do something important and make a difference; but being in a constant battle with their sensitivities and strong emotions it often holds them back, and this is an area where crystals can help.

Crystals are not only protective but also empowering, they help ‘block’ the negative or unwanted energy of the world and can help balance heightened sensitivities.

Crystals offer defence from all types of negative or unstable energy. They also have the ability to speed up the Auric field, which guards an Empath from the overpowering emotions of others, especially the negative energy.

By using the crystal, or Crystals, you most resonate with it will certainly help in keeping you balanced and protected, but having a basic understanding of their benefits can really help when making your crystal choices.

There is so much to learn about using crystals for grounding or protection (hence me writing a book on the subject). Red Jasper has been considered to be both a sacred and mystical stone throughout the ages, and has been used by many cultures in rituals and ceremonies along the way. Although Jasper comes in varying shades, Red Jasper comes with the biggest benefit for an Empath.

This is one of those crystals that, simply by looking at it, can ignite a strong sense of love within. Which, in my opinion, makes it a superpowered crystal.

Red Jasper works with the base chakra. It helps resolves the issues that arise when the base chakra is out of alignment. It is a good choice to use for grounding before entering busy peopled places.

This is a crystal that is often used by those who have a creative block and need inspiration and mental focus in their work, or by those who want to initiate a new project. Red Jasper is also the crystal to use when experiencing a lack of interest in life.

Energy shifts and changes in the environment, can dull the sparkle of an Empath’s creative mind. By holding a piece of Red Jasper, and focusing on its vibration, it helps ignite creativity; even instilling a sense of passion towards projects that may have been put on a backburner.

Red Jasper is ideal to use for protection from anyone who is spewing negativity, whether that be a family member, a work colleague or friend. Everyone has days when they want to have a good moan, and Red Jasper is a great stone to have on hand for when others are offloading their troubles. It is also great to use as a repellent, to keep the dark moods of others from affecting your own.

It is known that Red Jasper is regularly used by actors, both as a lucky charm and as a confidence booster, for when on stage or at auditions. Acting is known for inciting insecurities, which Red Jasper helps to counteract.

For an Empath who is in need of an uplift in confidence, holding Red Jasper, and simply focusing on its energy, can give them a much-needed boost. Developing confidence in oneself is not always easy, especially if life has dealt some hard knocks, but the vibrant uplifting energy of this crystal can help.

It is known that Red Jasper can be used when wanting to develop spiritual awareness. Most Empaths go through a time when they feel spiritually lost. They may lose sight of their path or get confused about their spirituality. By using Red Jasper, it can help reignite a sense of spiritual purpose.
