Here in the North Country where I live the landscape is covered with snow. At night it is quiet, beautiful, and peaceful. As Sister Moon nears her fullness she casts silver blue shadows everywhere. She is calling me to remember why I am here at this most significant time in the Earth Mother’s evolutionary leap into a new vibration. I sit in silence and allow the answer to come. Sister Moon says “Your Soul chose to be here at this timing to share your knowledge and wisdom about the new path that is opening. You all chose to be here. You all have wisdom to share if you will only listen to your inner knowing”.

This is a Sacred Full Moon. The sign of Cancer is our roots, origins, and ancestral teachings. It is the sign of Family and Home. Not just the human family but all of Mother Earth’s families. Cancer is the Great Universal Mother who cares for and nurtures all life. The key phrase for the sign of Cancer is “I feel”. I would add “I feel everything deeply”. This last Full Moon of 2020 is asking us to heal our deepest wounds and become the wise guides as we enter the New Year. The Moon is at home as she is the ruler of this sign. The Moon at 08 degrees 53 Cancer is travelling with the Earth at the same degree and minute. The Moon teaches us to ebb and flow as we experience our journey on the river of life. She asks us to stop swimming upstream against the current and allow that force to gently guide us down stream with ease. She is our Soul’s wisdom and guidance.

The Sun at 08 degrees 53 Capricorn is travelling with Esoteric Vulcan at 09 degrees 44 Capricorn (Vulcan is  a symbol of our hidden wounds and is the Soul Centered ruler of Taurus). Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions) is at 14 degrees 42 Capricorn (our Soul Purpose Path). They are trine (removal of obstacles and ease and flow) Uranus Rx at 06 degrees 49 Taurus (breaking through to what is of true value and importance). Vulcan offers us the opportunity to heal our hidden wounds. Uranus offers us the courage to break free. Uranus is also sextile the Moon and Earth (new destiny doorways to walk through).  The ruler of this Capricorn grouping is Saturn at 01 degree 24 Aquarius still joined to Jupiter at 02 degrees 21 Aquarius (the promise of A New Earth). They are sextile (easy opportunity) Chiron, the wounded healer, at 05 degrees 02 Aries (healing the broken self).

But, if you resist the gift to heal, Chiron is in a T Square (feeling backed into a challenging corner or motivation to change and find new ways of doing things) with the Full Moon. Full Moon is a time of letting the past go. Chiron, the healer and problem solver, is the focus of this T Square so he can show us how to heal and the way forward. As we mentioned Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius (awakening our Cosmic Consciousness) are sextile (new opportunities) Chiron. Jupiter is the exalted ruler of this Cancer Moon so is strong and is supporting us to grow and expand our spiritual vision. But another challenging aspect is Pluto at 24 degrees 07 Capricorn (transformation of society) Square Mars at 26 degrees 33 Aries (frustration and anger or inspired action). The good news is this Square (finding new ways of being) was exact on Dec 23 and is ending the challenges Mars activated in Aug and Oct. But don’t breathe a sigh of relief yet. Mars moves into Taurus on 06 Jan 2021 and will be very active the whole month giving us a doorway into a new way of being if that is what we chose. If not be prepared to change whether you choose that or not.

Our Animal Totem guide for the Moon/Earth in Cancer is Flicker Woodpecker, who guides us through the transitions the Earth Path requires. Flicker carries the vibration of All Healing Love. For the Capricorn cluster it is Snow Goose, who guides us to follow our dreams and visions and become our true self. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere. For all of us the Clan Mother who guides the Cancer Full Moon is Loves All Things. She teaches us how to forgive, ourselves and others. She is the mother of unconditional love. For the Sun/Vulcan/Mercury in Capricorn we are guided by Talks With Relations. She is the keeper of the needs of Mother Earth and the Mother of the planetary family. There is one more sky story at this Full Moon I want to share as it is significant to the new vibration we are entering. Venus (love, beauty, and harmony) is at 18 degrees 05 Sagittarius (the spiritual quest) travelling with the South Node at 19 degrees 57 Sagittarius (releasing judgement and prejudice and learning from our past experiences and challenges). They are opposite the North Node at 19 degrees 57 Gemini (choosing to unite in love and creating a new pathway). The South Node represents the past and the North Node the new direction we are being offered. They are in a T Square with Neptune at 18 degrees 26 Pisces (healing, forgiveness, completion, and release). Although Venus will have moved on this Neptune T Square the Nodes is with us until the beginning of February 2021. Neptune is the planet of illusion and deception or Spiritual Illumination and Divine Love. It is the higher octave of Venus. Let us all choose love, beauty, and harmony as we enter the New Year.

2021 is a 5 year, the Tarot Constellation of the Hierophant, the Wise Teacher. It is the principle of learning and discovering your wise self. The theme is dancing to the tune of your own drum but honouring the Sacredness of the Cosmic Dance. We will share more about the 2021 journey soon.
