2020 Sagittarius Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

For many years Snowy Owl and Shooting Star shared their stories with me. They seem to have gone on sabbatical (or maybe they got tired of the two leggeds not listening). But I was guided to retrieve a message from the Gemini Full Moon of Dec 2014. The message is so appropriate for our current Sagittarius Full Moon Eclipse so I am sharing it again. Even though at that time it was a Gemini Lunation it speaks loudly to the situation we are experiencing now.

“As they settled in the center of the Star Temple Snowy Owl and Shooting Star heard a familiar and comforting voice. The sisters looked up and there was Sister Moon shining her silver light down on them. The Cloud People had cleared as the young women had hoped. Luna said “When Grandfather Sun and I are in our full phase the lesson is always about the integration of opposites. This time it is to connect with your Soul Essence Self and allow that wisdom to guide you as you walk your Earth Path. The ego mind has become very dominant in the far away time and has created a separation from Divine Mind. Many two leggeds are blinded by belief systems that create conflict and the desire to assimilate others to their way of thinking. Great Mystery gave the two leggeds free will but it has become a curse rather than a gift.  The message at this Full Moon is to release the ego need for domination and control and allow the Wisdom of Great Mystery to guide you to the right use of will. Then you will be guided by your Soul’s understanding of the Oneness of All.”

Snowy Owl and Shooting Star thought about the times when their minds were in charge rather than their hearts. It was always because they were fearful of something. Sister Moon continued “When you are connected to Divine Mind there is no fear. Great Mystery will always support you through times of challenge. For this Full Moon the Totem guides are Deer, unconditional love and compassion, Elk, the support of spiritual community and tribe, and Owl, Truth and Wisdom.”

Do I hear “wow”? Sagittarius is the sign associated with belief systems. But the shadow is dogma, judgment, discrimination, prejudice, and rigidity (the need to be right). We are seeing that shadow big time in society at this timing. But Sagittarius is also the sign of tribes, people of different cultures and colours. We are also seeing a coming together of the human family to right a wrong. This Lunar Eclipse is asking us to release fear and unite in LOVE. Astrologically it is offering us the opportunity to complete the challenges we have been experiencing since the Capricorn Solar Eclipse of Dec 2019. The theme has been endings, completions, and overcoming difficult situations. Now that is an understatement. I don’t think we are done with difficult situations yet. Our current Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse is a dynamic dance. The Moon and Earth are travelling together at 15 degrees Sagittarius 34. The Earth is the Soul Centered guide for Sagittarius and is asking us to raise our vibration to spiritual consciousness that honours All That Is. Jupiter Rx at 26 Capricorn 28 is the planetary guide for the Moon and Earth. He is travelling with Pluto Rx at 24 degrees Capricorn 36. Transformation of society and raising consciousness from fear to unification. The dynamic energy comes from their Square (motivation to change and finding new ways of doing things) to the dwarf planet Eris. She is the Goddess of conflict and discord or purposeful actions. Remember the Full Moon asks us to find balance and harmony.

The Sun is at 15 degrees Gemini 34 and travelling with Retrograde Venus at 12 Gemini 18. Venus is in the Underworld asking us to connect with our deepest self and discover our new story. She is in her Soul Centered home in Gemini. The Soul does not see differences it sees unity. The Sun and Venus are guided by Mercury at 09 degrees Cancer 05 (our spiritual destiny path). I find it interesting that Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions) in Cancer (hidden anger) is Square (motivation to change) Chiron at 08 degrees Aries 53 (the wounded self and anger). But Mercury is also Sextile (easy opportunity to create the new) Uranus at 08 degrees Taurus 47 (breakthrough to what is of true value and authentic in our lives).

The Full Moon planets create another dynamic interaction. They are in a T Square (feeling backed into a corner) with Mars at 15 degrees Pisces 52 and Neptune at 20 degrees Pisces 52. The question we all need to answer is what is true, what is not true, what should never be true. Mars and Neptune ask us to raise our consciousness to see and live the truth. Mercury in Cancer (intuitive knowing) is trine Mars (removal of obstacles). I have said many times the Universe always gives us a doorway to the new if we choose to walk through it.

For the Northern Hemisphere our Animal Totem guides for the Earth and Moon in Sagittarius are Elk, strength and stamina, and Owl, the wisdom to know the truth. For the Sun and Venus in Gemini our guide is Deer, sensitivity and compassionate love. For the Southern Hemisphere the Totems are reversed. But they are available to us all. Regardless of which Hemisphere you reside in the Clan Mothers are the same.  The Clan Mother guiding us for the Moon in Sagittarius is Gives Praise. She is the guardian of gratitude and giving thanks for the truth. She teaches us how to give and receive so we are in the flow of abundance. She teaches us to celebrate the dance of our life. The Clan Mother for the Gemini Sun and Venus is Storyteller. She is the guardian of the magical child and speaking our truth from a sacred point of view. She also teaches how to listen to what others are really saying. She teaches us how to know our true story and live it. This Full Moon in Sagittarius is found on the Tarot Constellation of The Hierophant, the Wisdom Keeper. It is the principle of teaching what you have learned. Sagittarius is considered to be the teacher of the zodiac and learns by experience and hands on involvement. It is the 14^th card in the Tarot and suggests new spiritual beginnings after the Transformation of card 13 has occurred. The other energy of this Tarot Constellation is Taurus, the principle of balancing the physical world with a spiritual consciousness. It is the 5^th card in the Tarot and is the number of dancing to the tune of a different drummer. Taurus asks us to find empowerment and spiritual balance in a sometimes crazy world. In our current Lunation the Taurus influence is Uranus, breakthrough. Venus, self- love and personal empowerment guides Uranus. Venus is also the harmonizer of the Universe.

The Gemini Sun and Venus at this Lunation are active on the Tarot Constellation of The Lovers, relationship and choice. The theme is the urge to unite, the choice to love, ourselves in relation to each other. The other sign of this Constellation is Capricorn and its expresses the shadow of the urge to separate, the choice to fear, ourselves in relation to the world. Pluto and Jupiter currently in Capricorn will show us what we fear but also show us the Path of Transformation.

The Rays for the Moon in Sagittarius are the 4^th Ray of Harmony through Conflict or Beauty with Archangels Gabriel, transformation and resurrection, and Hope, faith and trust, as our guides. It is the Ray of the human kingdom. The next is the 5^th Ray of Concrete Knowledge and Healing, with Raphael, the shinning one who heals, and Mary, Divine Unconditional Love, guiding us. That is the ray of current humanity. The final Ray Sagittarius is active on is perhaps the most difficult. It is the 6^th of Idealism and Devotion. We can all see how conflict and dogma are continuing to be expressed in the world of the two-leggeds. Even the Rays have a shadow side.  The Archangels of 6^th Ray are Uriel, peace and love, and Aurora Grace, gratitude and balance.

Gemini is only found on the 2nd Ray of Divine Love and Wisdom. The Sun and Venus at this Full Moon ask us to focus on Loving kindness and communicate with compassionate caring for all. The Archangel who guides us is Jophiel, creative power and vision. When you call on him he will assemble a legion of angels to help you manifest your greatest vision. Jophiel’s feminine counterpart is Constance Christine, spiritual illumination. Call on all these Archangels of the Sagittarius Moon and Gemini Sun to support as you heal your spirit and then walk the truth of who you really are.
