2021 Scorpio Super Full Moon

I have always been a Night Owl. Even as a young child I would get frustrated when I had to go to bed and it was still light outside. Early this morning at 1.00 am I decided to go to sleep. Sunday had been a very challenging day for many reasons and I wanted to commune with Sister Moon. She always makes me feel peaceful and at ease. Through my bedroom window I looked out at the night sky and I was disappointed that all I could see was a fuzzy glow behind the Cloud People. Then about ten minutes later there she was, almost Full, shinning her brilliant light into my being. She said “Dear One, everything is going to be all right”. I was able to release the cares of the day and enter the Dreamtime.

Whatever cares and concerns you might be experiencing this Scorpio Super Full Moon is supporting you to release, and embrace healing and transformation. It is very much about facing our Shadow and discovering that we have power to change. Scorpio is Fixed Water. Still waters run deep. Full Moons activate emotional reactions. Super Moon is when Luna is closer to Earth and emotions run even more intensely. Sister Moon is travelling with the astrological Earth at 07 degrees Scorpio. They are guided by Pluto at 26 degrees Capricorn (transformation of society). He is about to turn retrograde April 27 and asking us to heal our deepest fears so we can be agents of change. The Soul Centered guide (Esoteric Astrology) is Mars at 02 degrees Cancer (healing ancient trauma). Mars is trine (removal of obstacles) the Moon and Earth in Scorpio and sextile (new opportunities) the Sun at 07 degrees Taurus (what is of true value in our lives).

The Sun is part of a Taurus cluster (self-worth and self-love). Vulcan at 09 degrees Taurus (our hidden wounds and the Soul Centered ruler of Taurus) Uranus at 10 degrees (breaking free from the past) Venus at 15 degrees (love and kindness) and Mercury at 16 degrees (our ideas about what is of value and importance). Evening Star Venus is the guide for all the Taurus energies. She is just becoming visible on the western horizon with Mercury at sunset. If you have a clear view of the horizon you might be able to see them as the Sun sets. Venus will move higher in the western sky and easier to see by the Taurus New Moon of May 11. One of her gifts as Evening Star is at-oneness-within and connection to our Sacred Center.

There is a Universal saying “when one door closes another opens”. This is so true at this Full Moon. Saturn at 12 degrees Aquarius (creating a foundation for the new way) creates a T Square (feeling backed into a corner) with the Moon/Earth and the Taurus energies. And remember we are still under the influence of the Saturn/Uranus Square (breaking through to the new) that began in February and continues until the end of December. Saturn has been trine (removal of obstacles) the North Node in Gemini (healing duality and uniting in love) since early April. He is supporting us to walk through the new door. But first we have to close the old one. Saturn at this Full Moon is sextile (easy opportunity) Chiron, the healer, at 10 degrees Aries (new inspired vision).

Our Animal Totem guide for the Moon/Earth in Scorpio is Snake, shedding the old and becoming the new. For the Sun and other energies in Taurus it is Beaver, clearing the old and building the new. (They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere). For all of us the Sacred Totem for Scorpio is the Phoenix, rising from the ashes and re-birth. The Clan Mother who guides the Sun and other planets in Taurus is Listening Woman, the guardian of The Stillness and Inner Knowing. She teaches us to listen to our Heart Knowing and hear the truth. For the Moon/Earth in Scorpio it is Walks Tall Woman. She is the keeper of new pathways and teaches us how to walk our path of truth. This Scorpio/Taurus Full Moon activates the 4^th Ray of Harmony Through Conflict or Harmony Through Beauty and Peace. It is the Ray of humanity. The Archangels who guide us are Gabriel, resurrection and rebirth, and Hope, harmony and renewal. Hope reminds us to never give up. You have the power to change your life.
