Yesterday’s Solstice marked a major turning point, bringing a fresh wave of energy to help us build a stronger connection to the heart and a deeper emotional awareness. Now is the time to look at our roots and understand how our past continues to impact us. This energy is creating an intense light that is now shining into the dark and dusty corners of our personal histories to uncover the old memories we normally try to hide. It is giving us the emotional courage to look at where we came from and to recognize that we have the capacity to create new ways of being and belonging. And yet, unless we face the past and what still impacts us and keeps us stuck, those new ways remain hidden or unattainable.

As you start this week be mindful of what is surfacing. You may feel more emotional than usual. Give yourself permission to feel. Do not judge these feelings or try and push them away. When you bury your emotions, they stay trapped inside. Feeling them fully is the only way to let them go. Observe them without becoming them. Recognize that old, stuck energy is coming up for release. Treat yourself with extra kindness, pause before you react, and notice your feelings without getting lost in them. Remember that you cannot welcome a new way of being if you are still full of old hurts. By letting this heavy energy pass through you, you clear space for the new to arrive.
