As long as you give this competence to the limited mind, I cannot help you. As long as you rack your brains about everything and everyone, you rush from disappointment to disappointment.

Only when you really have enough of it, you are open to what I have to say to you. Then I tell you: success or failure does not matter to a truly spiritual person. This person follows his inner voice and follows God. Positive or negative results are phenomena of time that elude the evaluation of an awakened person. The awakened one accepts, for the awakened one things ARE as they are, and it IS life as it is. Can you see everything? Even the awakened one cannot do it. The only difference to you is that the awakened one does not imagine that he has to overlook everything. Humility in the right place is the key here.

Do your best and have courage!

"Give yourselves completely into the hands of God and allow him to give you success or failure, what does it do! May he chastise you, may he please you. Whatever, it's good for you. How can you judge this? Who are you to judge that? Do your best and have courage!" (Jesus and Sai Baba, Govinda Sai Verlag, p. 271)

JJK: That's probably the point with a lot of people. They simply do not understand why this or that is happening and why they are now facing so many "tests"? "Why does God allow all this?" Many people are now capitulating to this question. I also perceive this in my environment. People simply cannot find an answer to this question. The answer is quite simple: not wanting to control everything with your mind, not wanting to understand everything, letting God do it and courageously doing your best.

SAI BABA: The answer is simple, but who loves simple answers.

Loved one, as long as you believe that you want to control or have to understand everything with your mind, your wheel of karma will continue to turn. You can only stop it if you finally leave everything to God.

How do you know what trials and challenges you have chosen for this mortal life? You lead a "spiritual" way of life, you don't do anything bad to anyone and you do your homework? Good, but still, fate is not inclined to you and you are faced with tasks that you think you cannot master. I tell you: This is exactly what you have chosen, tasks that you seem unable to accomplish, but which you will accomplish with courage, perseverance and with God.

The point of a challenge is that it is challenging. Everything else is uninteresting for an angel who incarnates as a human being.

Why me?

JJK: What role does the mind play here? I know people who want to have everything in their lives under control – the children, the partner, the friends, the job, etc.

If someone behaves differently or comes a little differently than planned, then these people simply can no longer find their way. "Why is this happening to me?" is the popular question and they are struggling with life. What can you tell these people?

Can you see everything? Even the awakened one cannot do it. The only difference to you is that the awakened one does not imagine that he has to overlook everything. Humility in the right place is the key here.

You are of divine origin, similar to God and equal to God. Your human consciousness is the veil that separates you from this knowledge. This separation persists to a certain degree as long as you incarnate on earth. Therefore, it is impossible for a person to comprehend everything, to grasp everything, to know everything – and above all, it is impossible to control everything.

JJK: Relinquishing or giving up control or surrendering to God is easier said than done, isn't it?

Relinquishing Control and Trusting God

SAI BABA: Those who no longer want to experience suffering have only one effective way to achieve this:
to give up control over this and that, over this and that. Many people are true control freaks.

Troubled and uncertain times always pose the greatest challenge to these people – and I tell you:

The events of this time teach you to relinquish control and trust God. The current changes at all levels are massive! What do you want and what else can you control? More and more people are now becoming aware of this and so many are mastering this self-chosen test – from control to trust in God, to let God do it and to give the best courageously.

That is what matters to a spiritual person now. As long as you are struggling with life, you have not yet understood the spiritual dimension of life.

JJK: This means that Lightwarriors and Lightworkers are now also facing very great challenges. Many lightworkers don't want dramas anymore and yet experience some ...

SAI BABA: Lightworkers in particular have chosen important tasks and have a great willingness to get out of the wheel of death and rebirth. This is always associated with great challenges.

Often the last karmic entanglements are solved and very often these people in this life are about the whole – about everything. This means that here the big tidying up is announced and so these people face dramas again and for the last time, which invite you to be mastered.

Mastery instead of despair

So far, many people have despaired of the difficulties of life. This time you will overcome them and rise like a phoenix from the ashes to new life.

That is what is at stake now. If you think your problems are unsolvable and the course of the world is playing badly with you, then be willing to solve the problems – and not blame the world or God. It is your opportunity to give life as it is a courageous and luminous response.

You are invited to grow with the challenges and not to fail. This is true mastery that is to be attained now and that you will attain now—for that alone you are born.

JJK: So everything is good?

SAI BABA: Everything is as it is – and God, in His wisdom and grace, guides you safely through the labyrinth of time.

Even if there seems to be no way out in sight at first, every step brings you closer to the exit.

Success or failure, what do you care as long as you are connected to the stream of HIS grace.
