Humanity is awaking and remembering how to be human. We have spent centuries unconsciously buying into a system that no longer serves us. A system that invalidates the truth of being human, beauty of being human, and the joy of being human.

Humans aren’t fighting the old systems as much as outgrowing them. I am totally amazed at how creatively humans are showing up to express Love and community while the political system is attempting to divide with fear. But as systems are leaning into fear, humanity is answering with harmony.

Two Events, One Day, Synchronicity

On Wednesday, February 11, 2026 there are two very different events happening simultaneously drawing huge crowds in celebration of being human. These events are on opposite sides of the country and couldn’t be more different from one another.

In Washington DC, the Venerable Monks are completing their 2300 mile “Walk for Peace,” a spiritual journey that began in Texas in October 2025 to spread peace and harmony for all living beings. An invitation has been extended to the public to join them in a Global Meditation on Wednesday, February 11 which will be streamed globally online.

In Seattle, Washington, the community is gathering to celebrate the Seahawk’s Super Bowl championship. On Wednesday, February 11, there is a ceremony scheduled for the players at Lumen Field, where the words “Choose Love” are inscribed under the goal posts. This is followed by a parade through downtown celebrating the 12th man (the fans) who have been supporting this team for many years.

What synchronicity!! Two venues, two locations, inadvertently in harmony with one another on the same day.

Releasing and Opening to Love

Humanity has been holding its breath for far too long, living in fear, and suppressing our voices. What better way to open up and release emotions than screaming at a sporting event? What better way to release the tension being held in the body than to dance with wild abandon to the rockin’ Bad Bunny at halftime with a theme, “The only thing more powerful than hate is Love.” Music that rocks with words may not be understood by the mind (if it’s not your native language) but it speaks to the body. THIS, this is the perfect outlet humanity needs right now: a way to release emotions and ease the neurological system that has been paralyzed for far too long.

Screaming at a sports event may not resonate with you. I get that. If not, I invite you to find another way to scream, celebrate, dance with wild abandon, and allow the tears of release. Your physical body will thank you.

The Power of Breath and Presence

Simultaneously, we need to learn to breathe once again. THIS, this is what the monks have been demonstrating for us so beautifully. Step by step, they walk quietly, breathe in, breathe out. Opening hearts and stimulating tears of healing with their simple presence. No preaching, no bluster, no shouting for attention… simply being the presence of Peace. And somehow, in that simplicity, the nervous system of the world remembers its innate instructions. The heart is tired of posturing. Breath by breath, our hearts and nervous system are learning that it’s safe to open to Love. It’s safe to live our Truth. It’s safe to be authentic.

We need both! Drumbeat and heartbeat. Sympathetic and parasympathetic. The world doesn’t need to choose one style of awakening—it needs the whole orchestra. Divide-and-conquer meets sing-and-gather, and somehow the song keeps winning. When people celebrate, sing, and breathe together, they remember each other. That remembering is older than governments and far more durable.

I have no doubt that more personas will be illuminating the world as humble Wayshowers in different styles and venues to remind us how to be human again. Some will sing, some will cook, some will code, some will simply stand with mud on their feet and let others remember how to breathe.

The singer on the stage, the crowd in the street, the monk on the road… they’re all offering the same medicine in different forms. Different styles, different venues, same quiet signature: authenticity without apology, on sidewalks, in kitchens or forest clearings. In small gatherings or chance encounters.

They slip through the cracks of the old hierarchies because they were never trying to climb them. Each humble action becomes a lighthouse without declaring itself one, simply reminding us how to be human once again.
