Finding Your Spirit Guide Through Meditation

meditation

We all know that meditation is good for us as a form of relaxation but it also gives us many other benefits to our physical, emotional and spiritual well being. These direct and often indirect benefits rely on regular meditation, even if it’s only ten minutes a day, so that we can draw deep into our consciousness and develop our positive energies for enlightening our minds to a higher reality. Although there are many other ways of reaching a higher consciousness such as astral travel, yoga or using crystals, the ancient art of meditation is one well practiced way of  improving our inner beings and be of benefit to our spiritual selves.

Mental and Emotional Benefits

The effects of meditation help you understand your thought processes better, thus giving you more control over what you think and allowing you to focus more clearly. The psychology of meditation can help you improve communication with yourself and the world around you because you’re living more in the present without past baggage. As a result, your anxiety and depression levels are reduced which will enable your real self to be more confident, relaxed and mindful to connect with your spiritual being.

Spiritual connection with our guides

Through meditation we can have a better understanding of our spiritual selves and build up a vast arena of self knowledge which can be elevated from the physical sense into a higher sense and help to connect and communicate with our spirit guides. This is because our energetic vibration is raised through our brain wave frequencies whereby it can allow us access to communicating with our spirit guides.

Psychics have confirmed that we all have our own spirit guide(s), or ‘guardian angel’ who watch over us and guide us to making right decisions in our lives, even when we don't always realize that they’re there.

It takes practice to call on the guidance of our guides who wish to help us on our life path but once a connection is made, we tend to feel less isolated and experience more peace from their loving support. Over time, through meditation and breathing exercises to relax, you will be able to let yourself drift away from the distractions of daily life and move to a calmer place where an aura of powerful energy will surround your body, helping you heal your spiritual self and letting your guides in.

Practicing meditation helps us to slow down and is one of the primary methods of opening our spirituality which takes a peaceful approach on our minds and bodies. As a consequence, it can stimulate our nervous system by returning our bodies to a relaxed state so we can naturally repair and rebuild our bodies, the effects of which can often surprise us.
