Chelsie’s Story That Prompted This Sharing

Recently, I was working with a beautiful soul named Chelsie. She came to me with a very delicate and confusing issue—something that kept returning in cycles no matter how many layers she processed.

As I tuned into her field, I saw something striking: the root of her pain was not hers. It belonged to someone who had come before her. Specifically, her maternal grandmother—whose silence and sacrifices had left an imprint that Chelsie was unconsciously reliving.

And just like that, the pieces clicked.

What Are Ancestral Energies?

When we speak of ancestral energies, we’re not just talking about genetics or lineage. We’re speaking of unresolved soul stories—emotions, traumas, vows, and survival strategies that get passed down through the energetic blueprint of the family system.

Not as punishments. But as unhealed prayers waiting to be completed.

Here are the three most common types I see during sessions:

1. Inherited Emotional Contracts

These are unspoken agreements that get passed down like heirlooms:

• “We don’t talk about our pain.”
• “Women in this family must endure.”
• “Men can’t show weakness.”

You may find yourself staying quiet, playing small, or burning out from overgiving—and not know why. Often, these contracts were formed during war, colonization, poverty, or family shame, when silence felt safer than truth.

How to Clear:

Awareness is the first light. When these patterns are witnessed and named, they begin to dissolve. In healing sessions, I often guide you to energetically revoke the contract, offer it back to the ancestors with love, and replace it with a new soul agreement rooted in freedom.

2. Ancestral Grief and Unprocessed Trauma

Some of us carry grief that isn’t ours. We weep for things we never lived. We fear things we’ve never experienced. And we feel broken without understanding why.

These often show up as:

• Depression or anxiety with no clear cause
• Recurring dreams of loss or separation
• Deep fear of abandonment or betrayal

In Chelsie’s case, her emotional loop was tied to her grandmother’s lifelong sorrow—the sorrow of giving up her voice to keep the family together.

How to Clear:

This kind of clearing must be done gently. It helps to work with someone who can read the energetic field, but even on your own, you can begin by placing your hand on your heart and saying:

“This sorrow is not mine to carry.
I honor it, but I now return it to Source for transmutation.”

Your nervous system will begin to understand that it is safe to feel joy again.

3. Karmic Vows and Lineage Entanglements

Sometimes we inherit more than emotion—we inherit oaths. Vows of poverty, silence, celibacy, suffering. These were often made by ancestors who were part of spiritual lineages, religious orders, or power-stripped families.

These oaths linger and create energetic bindings, especially when you’re trying to step into abundance, visibility, or spiritual leadership.

You may feel:

• Financial ceilings you can’t break
• A fear of being seen
• A persistent sense that “something bad will happen if I succeed”

How to Clear:

This often requires a deeper level of soul healing. But one step you can take right now is to stand in front of a mirror, look yourself in the eyes, and affirm:

“I now release any vow, oath, or binding I have inherited from my lineage.
I choose sovereignty. I choose wholeness. I choose life.”

Let your body feel the shift as you reclaim your freedom.
