Greetings, Luminous One!
What does being "called to Service" mean?
If you haven't experienced it, it's like a clarion voice in your soul that you can't quiet, no matter how hard you try. It literally won't leave you alone until you at least pay attention, or at best take steps towards it.
Then, there's an understanding from somewhere that there is an action you need to take to help one or more others. You may not know why or how, and it may not make logical sense, but there's an insistent urge to take a path that's largely (or completely) unknown with the assumption that it's for some reason that will reveal itself down the line.
Or, at least, that's the hope. Because otherwise, it's just crazy making.
We've all experienced this in some way, right?
Some calls are short-lived while others involve a dramatic change of path, with an eventual dedication of an entire lifetime in Service because that's where identity and purpose are found.
I have many stories to illustrate this, as I'm sure you do, too.
One of my favorites is about Linda Tucker, who abruptly left her successful London career because she was called to a completely different life in South Africa. Her journey ultimately led her to become the Lion Shaman of Timbavati in order to save, protect and nurture the rare white lions there. (To read her extraordinary story, click HERE.)
I, too, have learned to live in Service thanks to the advent of the Infinity Wave back in 2010. Surrendering to Its higher cause by teaching the Wave to early adopters (like you!) has changed me in incalculable ways and continues to give my life meaning.
If you don't know that story, I recommend visiting my website and perhaps purchasing my book (see below). I wrote it primarily for future generations, who, thanks to our work now, may be even more able to use it wisely. I see us current users as the seed planters, for whom I'm most grateful!
One of the things that I love about this community is how willing you are to be in Service to one another. In our Monday Meditations, for instance, if someone is experiencing a challenge, you are always ready, willing and able to provide heartfelt Waves to that person. It never ceases to touch my heart to witness this.
Those Waves may seem like a little thing, but we know that even small acts of Service create ripples, so thank you!
Have you been called to Service? I'd love to hear about it!
Have a beautiful week!
Much love and infinite blessings,
Hope
