The key message in April from the universe is to stay grounded while uplifting your thoughts and vibration with faith in the unknown future.

Both Mercury and Venus will move direct in Pisces close to Saturn, the get real planet. This combination lends to serious decisions for eliminating the unnecessary and embracing what is essential. It is a time to be more discerning in what you want and rethinking wants versus needs. 

Mercury, the planet of communication, learning, and thinking is with Saturn and will open ideas for new knowledge that can benefit you in the long run. It is an excellent time for redoing a resume and trimming it down to key points and accomplishments.

Venus on the other hand with Saturn takes a serious look at financial situations and pulls back on frivolous or impulsive purchases. For Venus in love, she is happy floating through the sign of Pisces for the month of April where she shows off her romantic side. Yet when Saturn and Venus touch decisions are rendered whether or not the love you give is returned in a way they your soul craves.

The full moon in Libra on the 12^th emphasizes the need to stay centered in love and compassion for self and others. There is conflicting energy between wanting to stand and fight for what is fair and just and wanting to remove oneself from the line of fire and seek a metaphoric place of safety. 

Venus moves direct the day of the full moon with deeper awareness of what truly matters in life.

Mercury, the thinking planet, is caught between trying to “figure it all out” and zoning out and preferring to daydream or be sidetracked with movies or music. In fact, it can feel as if the brain has gone on strike and refuses to engage in hard thinking. 

The sun moves into Taurus on the 19^th heralding in a time to slow down and smell the roses. Taurus is connected to Venus therefore finding appreciation in the abundance and beauty of nature and art seep into everyday life. The first full week of Taurus is intense, even potentially violent energy. Stay aware of your emotional barometer and choose your battles. A volcanic type of emotional outburst is common with the alignment of this week’s planets. 

The Taurus new moon on the 27^th is aligned with the fixed stars of headstrong Hamal and Schedar which embodies feminine wisdom. A dichotomy will play out in the news between brute force and quiet strength. Neptune is at the halfway mark between Uranus and Pluto, great change is taking place yet with the veil of Neptune it is impossible to see where it will all lead.

The month ends with Venus leaving her happy place in Pisces and entering into the land of Aries where she knows the path to her authentic self might demand a confrontation or two.
