Aries

The planet Mars is what motivates you. And as it has been battling unseen and known forces over the past few days, it could feel like you are needing to find  a new way to approach your goals. Perhaps from another angle. This does not mean that you are giving up. In fact once Mars enters Taurus on Tuesday you will be more determined than ever to keep going. But if you found yourself coming up against an insurmountable obstacle, allow yourself to step back and wait. Let it pass first. There is no use in ramming your horns against a brick wall. Come August, if something needs to change, you will begin to gather the tools and resources that will allow you to do so. In the mean time, sort out your goals and your priorities. What is it that you are really wanting to achieve and aim for? And what are you going to need in order to get there? 

Taurus

Mars is entering your sign this week. This will bring a deeper sense of determination and will power to carry thru any plans that you may have been mulling over. Mars will now be giving you the green light and the energy to move forward with any initiatives or plans. One thing that the planet Mars can bring is the motivation to get out and do things. To move. To take the initiative and get things started. Use that energy and motivation in a constructive way! Get moving. Call up some buddies and plan a hike, take a road trip, and explore your neighborhood. Or channel that energy into completing any old projects that were lying around, and were meaning to get to. Or finally following through with promises that were made in the past. Now’s your chance. Take advantage of this extra boost of energy while you have it. 

Gemini

Use the last few days of Mercury in Gemini to create some sort of road map. If could feel like you are having to do so even though you don’t necessarily have all the facts, and you can’t really see around the next corner. Nonetheless, this weekend is when you will want to create some sort of goal or plan. You can always make adjustments later. Think of it as organization within the midst of chaos. On Tuesday, Mercury will then enter the sign of Cancer, at which point you will be more concerned with more personal matters, such as those surrounding home or family. You will find yourself drawn to familiar places and faces. Of wanting to be around those people, or be in those places that bring you a feeling of greater stability and security. Or creating the conditions that will help to ensure these. Things could feel pretty busy. But much of that will be concerned with achieving that end. 

Cancer

You’ve probably been thinking a lot about what you want to do, what you need to say, where you want to go. And perhaps you’ve been very busy behind the scenes getting everything ready. But now that Mercury will be entering your sign on Tuesday, you will soon be given the green light to move forward with your plans, have that discussion, or create some sort of road map for the next few weeks that Mercury will be in your sign. When Mercury is in your sign, this is an excellent time to initiate discussions, learn something new, or show off some of your knowledge and skills. This week in particular could be a good time for you to speak out and let your voice be heard on matters that you have been considering or mulling over for some time. This is because a sextile to Mars brings you the courage to speak up, while Mercury in Cancer inspires you to speak from the heart, and in a way that will be heard. 

Leo

On Tuesday, Mars will enter Taurus, which if used well, could bring Leo the initiative to follow through on plans that have been set. Mars in Taurus is great weather for following through with projects or initiatives which were set in motion over the past few weeks. Energy becomes more focused and determined, and if channeled well could be quite useful. For Leo, having Mars in Taurus can increase your desire to succeed. So used constructively this could be a good time to follow through and make progress towards achieving some of your goals. Slow and steady wins the race when Mars is in Taurus. Things could get a little hectic towards the end of July, so it might make sense, before you get sidetracked or distracted, to use the next few weeks to put your nose to the grindstone and aim high.

Virgo

You will want to tie up a few loose ends while Mercury is still in the last few days of Gemini. Finish that project. Discuss plans for the future. And do this all the while not fully knowing what is waiting for you around the next bend. That’s okay. You can pick up the pieces later when you have all the facts. Then on Tuesday, Mercury will enter the sign of Cancer. This is when we feel the urge to revisit those places and people that we once knew so well. It’s time to touch base with old friends. Gather the tribe. Check in with family. Visit the relatives. This is when we tend to seek familiarity, security and safety. Even new friends made at this time could have an element of having known each other forever. Strengthening these important bonds will serve you well for months to come. 

Libra

On Tuesday, Mercury will enter the sign of Cancer, which for Libra is an excellent time for you to consider and discuss plans concerning your future. It can also be a time in which something that you’ve been learning about, studying or discussing with others can be applied to your career, or something that you do. If you are needing to approach someone or ask for a favor, this might be the week to do so. You have the courage to speak up and have your voice heard. And because you speak from the heart, people will pay attention, and want to hear what you have to say. It is also a good week to mend bridges, make amends, and bring offerings of peace if need be. When we can come to appreciate the differences in each other, we can also recognize what it is that they have to teach us. 

Scorpio

We begin the week with something of an intense and foreboding square between Mars and Pluto. Because these are the co-rulers of your sign, you might be more inclined to notice these sorts of aspects. Slough away bad feelings as they arise. Be vigilant but don’t obsess. But do pay attention to your intuition and better angels. Many will be on edge, and you will want to avoid difficult interactions with others, by all means necessary. If something doesn’t feel right, walk in the other direction. No use stirring up any hornet’s nests! Mars then enters Taurus on Tuesday, but don’t expect to be out of the cross hairs just yet. Mars in Taurus can be great if working on a project with others who are on the same page, and wanting to achieve the same ends. But it can also bring increased aggression from others wanting to take over. Hold your own, but tread lightly.   

Sagittarius

This looks like the sort of weekend in which to plan to do absolutely nothing, if it is at all possible. Here in the States we have our 4th of July celebrations this weekend, which will allow quite a few to have some time off. Sometimes we just need to get a little lost in order to find ourselves again. Expect a little busyness this week. Could be hearing from old friends or catching up with family members, especially once Mercury enters Cancer on Tuesday. This is when we are more inclined to reflect on the past, and are drawn to familiar places, people and things. We are seeking safety, a sense of security and commonality of perception. So we could also see many circling the wagons over the next few weeks. In the mean time, enjoy the weekend, wherever you end up and whatever you may or may not have planned!

Capricorn

On Tuesday, Mercury will enter Cancer on the same day that Mars enters Taurus. For Capricorn, this is a good time to open up communications with others. Make plans with your partner or spouse, consult a specialist, have that heart to heart with your friend, call your mother, get some good advice. You can accomplish so much more and gain greater clarity with a little help from others, than you can on your own when Mercury is in Cancer. This is also a good time to make promises and agreements, sign that contract, and make sure that everyone is on the same page. It could feel a bit like there is an awful lot going on this week, as things are moving quickly. But it is also a good week to find points of agreement, and get things settled once and for all. 

Aquarius

This weekend is a good weekend to hash out agreements, create a plan, organize your environment, and start working on your daily routines. The more disorganized, and crazy your daily schedule has been feeling, the more so you will want to create some sort of order. All the more so now that Mercury will be entering Cancer, and Mars entering Taurus on Tuesday. For Aquarius, Mars in Taurus can often make us feel as if we are in the middle of a home renovation, with all sorts of commotion going on. It will be easy to get distracted if there is a lot of activity going on in your personal environment. But Mercury in Cancer is attempting to create some order out of the chaos. And having a plan can make all the difference. 

Pisces

This is going to be one of those weekends in which order exists even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. Here in the States we have a holiday weekend coming up, so many will have time off. If you can swing it, this would be the sort of weekend to plan on doing nothing, while secretly planning your grand opus from behind the scenes. It can also be very good for tying up some loose ends, organizing your personal life, and figuring out ways to get you back on track. It’s a good weekend to do so, for once Mars enters Taurus on Tuesday, things could be feeling pretty busy. Lots of information, words and communications flying about, and things moving very quickly. Everyone seems to have something to say. And much of that appears to be in the spirit of the moment. Strap on your seat belt, hold on to your hat and take lots of notes.
