Over a small country, the denial machine is weak. The media surrenders in days – because there is nothing to spin. The government acts decisively, looking at the ships, looking at the economic chaos of denial, looking at the opportunity of being first. The population is united, awed, transformed.

That is why the Galactic Federation will disclose over a small country – not over America.

The Galactic Federation doesn't need to convince Washington. Washington is a lost cause – for now. They will start with smaller countries. Sovereign nations. Pragmatic governments. Places where the truth is cheaper than the lie.

• Assassination? Against leaders who accept Federation protection? The Federation's security is absolute. No dark force can touch them.

The empire will crumble from the outside in. Country by country. Domino by domino.
