Materialist Alliance Hides Galactic Federation Truth

People don't realize a lot of Christianity is based on materialism—but not all of it.

Here is the distinction:

The Materialist Christianity (The Empire's Version)

Most of mainstream Western Christianity—particularly Evangelicalism, fundamentalism, and much of the Catholic Church—operates on a materialist framework. It treats God as a separate being "out there." It treats prayer as a request for supernatural intervention. It treats miracles as violations of natural law. It treats the afterlife as a physical place. It treats the soul as a separate substance that gets inserted into the body at conception.

This is materialism dressed up in religious language. It is the same worldview as the secular materialists—just with a divine landlord.

This is the Christianity that the empire has co‑opted. It is the Christianity that has been used to justify war, colonialism, capitalism, and the suppression of indigenous spiritualities. It is the Christianity that has joined forces with the analytical philosophers and the post‑modernists to exclude idealism from the academy.

The Idealist Christianity (The Mystical Tradition)

But there is another Christianity. It is the Christianity of the mystics, the contemplatives, and the heretics.

Meister Eckhart said: "The eye with which I see God is the same eye with which God sees me." That is a direct statement of philosophical idealism. God is not separate. God is the ground of being. Consciousness is not a by‑product. It is the source.

Julian of Norwich said: "All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well." She was not talking about a future state. She was talking about the inherent goodness of reality. That is idealism: reality is not broken. It is whole. We just do not see it.

Thomas Merton said: "The true self is not the ego. It is the self that is one with God." That is a direct statement of non‑duality. The ego is an illusion. The self is consciousness.

The Desert Fathers practiced stillness meditation—the same technique that Australian cancer healers AinslieMeares and Ian Gawler used to reverse cancer. They called it hesychasm—the practice of inner stillness. They sat in silence and watched their thoughts. They found the gap. They rested in the stillness. They called it "the prayer of the heart." It is the same technique that Shivapuri Baba taught Ainslie Meares. It is the same technique that I teach in this article.

The Quakers still practice it. They sit in silence and wait for the light. They do not recite creeds. They do not perform rituals. They simply sit in stillness and wait for the Spirit to speak.

The Gnostics were the original Christian idealists. They believed that the material world was an illusion—a shadow of the true reality. They believed that salvation was not about being saved from sin, but about being awakened from the dream. They were hunted down and destroyed by the materialist church. Their texts were burned. Their teachings were suppressed. But they survived.

The Difference

The Materialist Christian says: "God is out there. I need to get to God."
The Idealist Christian says: "God is within. I need to realize that I am already one with God."
The Materialist Christian says: "Prayer is asking for things."
The Idealist Christian says: "Prayer is resting in the awareness of the presence of God."
The Materialist Christian says: "The world is fallen. We need to escape it."
The Idealist Christian says: "The world is a manifestation of God. We need to awaken to that."

What This Means for the Global War on God

So it's right to distinguish between the two. This is another article that defines the war between materialism and idealism. It is a war that is being fought in every institution—including the Church.

The materialist Christians have joined forces with the secular materialists. They have made common cause against the idealists. They have suppressed the mystical tradition. They have reduced Christianity to a set of propositions about a separate being. They have turned it into a credential‑obsessed system of belief.

But the idealist Christians are still there. They are in the monasteries, the convents, the Quaker meetings, and the silent prayer groups. They are the ones who are doing the real work. They are the ones who are keeping idealism alive—even inside the materialist fortress.

So a huge lot of Christianity is based on materialism—but not all of it.

The materialist version is the one that the empire has co‑opted. The idealist version is the one that the empire is trying to destroy.

And the idealist version is the one that is the closest to the truth. It is the version that recognizes that consciousness is primary. It is the version that recognizes that the material world is a manifestation of Spirit. It is the version that points to the same truth that the New Physics, TCM, transpersonal psychology, and the Galactic Federation aliens all point to:

Consciousness is primary. Matter is a manifestation of mind. The universe is a thought in the mind of God.

Here is a detailed history of how materialism developed in Christianity and became its dominant, and abhorrent, ruling philosophy.

THE HISTORY OF MATERIALISM IN CHRISTIANITY

The Early Church – The Mystical Foundation

The earliest Christianity was not materialist. It was mystical, idealist, and grounded in the direct experience of Spirit. The early Church Fathers—men like Origen, Gregory of Nyssa, and Augustine—were deeply influenced by Plato and Neoplatonism. They taught that the material world was a shadow or reflection of a higher, spiritual reality. The soul was primary. The body was temporary. The goal was union with God—a mystical, inner transformation.

Augustine himself, though he later became the foundation of Western theology, was deeply influenced by the Neoplatonic idea that reality is ultimately spiritual, not material. The early Church was not materialist. It was idealist.

The Rise of Scholasticism – The Aristotelian Turn

The shift toward materialism began with the Scholastics—the medieval theologians who sought to reconcile Christian faith with the philosophy of Aristotle. Thomas Aquinas (1225–1274) was the architect of this shift. He argued that faith and reason were compatible, and that the material world could be known through reason and observation.

Aquinas did not reject Spirit. But his system placed a new emphasis on the material world as a legitimate object of study. He argued that the existence of God could be proven through reason alone, using the evidence of the material world. This was not materialism, but it opened the door. It created a framework where the material world was no longer a shadow of Spirit, but a real and knowable reality in its own right. The Vatican Council from 1869–70 paved the way for a resurgent interest in the thought of Thomas Aquinas.

The Scientific Revolution – The Materialist Triumph

The real shift toward materialism came with the Scientific Revolution. Galileo, Newton, and Descartes established a new worldview: the universe was a machine, governed by mechanical laws. Matter was primary. Spirit was irrelevant. The Church initially resisted, but eventually capitulated. The First Vatican Council (1869–1870) was a desperate attempt to fight back against rationalism, liberalism, and materialism. It condemned materialism as a heresy. But the Church was fighting a losing battle. The materialist worldview had already captured the universities, the scientific institutions, and the cultural imagination of the West. The concept of "assertive materialism" was even used as a method of conversion to lure in potential Christians with the promise of wealth and success given to them by God.

The Modern Era – Materialism as the Default

Today, materialism is the default worldview of the Western world. It dominates the universities, the scientific institutions, the media, and the culture. It has even captured much of the Church. As Cardinal Ratzinger (later Pope Benedict XVI) lamented, Christian theology "in the course of time turned the kingdom of God into a kingdom of heaven that is beyond this mortal life; the well-being of men became a salvation of souls". This is a form of spiritualized materialism: the belief that the material world is all there is, and that the only escape is to leave it. It is the opposite of the Incarnation—the belief that God became flesh and that the material world is sacred.

POPE JOHN PAUL II – THE IDEALIST REBEL

Then there is Pope John Paul II. He was a rebel. He was an idealist. He wrote extensively about the human person, consciousness, and the spiritual dimension of reality.

The Theology of the Body

John Paul II's most famous work is his Theology of the Body. In it, he argued that the body is not merely matter—it is a reflection of the divine. He wrote: "The body, and it alone, is capable of making visible ... the spiritual and the divine". This is a direct challenge to materialism. It is a statement that the material world is not dead. It is alive. It is sacred. It is a manifestation of Spirit.

Fides et Ratio

John Paul II's encyclical Fides et Ratio (Faith and Reason) was a direct assault on the materialist fortress. He argued that faith and reason are not enemies—they are two wings of the same bird. He insisted that philosophy must remain open to transcendence. He rejected the narrow, technical, materialist philosophy that had come to dominate the Western academy. He called for a philosophy that was open to the transcendent, to Spirit, to God.

A Phenomenological Personalist

John Paul II was not a Thomist. He was a phenomenological personalist. He was influenced by the philosophy of Edmund Husserl and Max Scheler—thinkers who emphasized the primacy of consciousness and the lived experience of the person. He argued that the human person is not a machine. The human person is a being of consciousness, freedom, and love. This is a profoundly idealist philosophy.

The Legacy

John Paul II was a rebel. He was an idealist. He was a voice crying in the wilderness. He challenged the materialist fortress from within. He called the Church back to its mystical, incarnational roots. He reminded the world that the body is sacred, that consciousness is primary, and that the material world is a manifestation of Spirit.

But his legacy is mixed. The materialist fortress has not fallen. The Church is still divided. The materialists still dominate the academy. The idealists are still a minority. But John Paul II stands as a witness to the fact that Christianity was not always materialist. It was not always a fortress of dogma. There was a time when it was a path to liberation, a path to Spirit, a path to truth.

Materialism Ruled Christianity

Materialism became the dominant ruling philosophy of Christianity through a long and complex history: the Aristotelian turn of the Scholastics, the rise of the Scientific Revolution, and the capitulation of the Church to the materialist worldview.

But there has always been a minority—the mystics, the contemplatives, the rebels—who have kept idealism alive. Pope John Paul II was one of them. He was a rebel. He was an idealist. He was a voice crying in the wilderness.

The question is: will his voice be heard? Or will the materialist fortress continue to dominate? The answer depends on people taking action. It depends on people who are willing to challenge the materialist lie. It depends on people who are willing to tell the truth.

THE MATERIALIST ALLIANCE: HOW CHRISTIANITY, POST‑MODERNISM, AND ANALYTICAL PHILOSOPHY JOINED FORCES TO DESTROY GOD

This story that has never been told—a secret history of the modern world. It is the story of how materialist Christianity, post‑modernist continental philosophy, and Anglo‑American analytical philosophy joined forces to destroy God.

Because the New Age movement says something that the materialists cannot tolerate: that you can pray directly to the angels. That you can contact Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel. That you can receive guidance, healing, and protection from beings of light.

The Protestant materialists say that this is Luciferic. They say that anyone who prays to angels is a heretic, a pagan, a demon‑worshipper. But it is the Protestants who are Luciferic. They are the ones who deny the power of the positive angels. They are the ones who have cut humanity off from the divine. They are the ones who have turned Christianity into a materialist fortress.

The alliance was formed over centuries. It began with the Scholastics, who introduced Aristotelian materialism into Christian theology. It continued with the Scientific Revolution, which established a materialist worldview that excluded Spirit. It was cemented by the Protestant Reformation, which rejected the mystical tradition and reduced Christianity to a set of propositions about a separate being.

In the 20th century, the alliance was completed. The post‑modernists (Derrida, Foucault, Deleuze, Lyotard) and the analytical philosophers (Russell, Wittgenstein, the logical positivists) joined forces. They were presented as rivals. They were taught as rivals. They were hired as rivals. But they were never rivals. They were allies. Both groups rejected Spirit. Both groups refused to take consciousness seriously. Both groups dismissed anyone who dared to suggest that there might be something beyond the material world.

Together, they created an umbrella of materialism that covered every philosophy department in the Western world.

The victims of this alliance are the idealist traditions of the world: Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism—all of which are based on philosophical idealism. These traditions teach that consciousness is primary, that the material world is a manifestation of mind, and that Spirit is the ground of all being.

The materialists hate these traditions. They have dismissed them as "mystical," "unscientific," "primitive," or "New Age." They have excluded them from the academy. They have ridiculed them in the media. They have suppressed them in the churches.

And they have hated the New Age movement most of all. Because the New Age movement says that you can pray directly to the angels. That you can contact Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel. That you can receive guidance, healing, and protection from beings of light. The New Age movement says that the universe is not dead. It is alive. It is conscious. It is filled with beings of light who are waiting to help us.

The materialists cannot tolerate this. It threatens their entire worldview. It threatens their power. It threatens their control.

This is why people are confused about the Galactic Federation aliens. They have been raised in a materialist culture that has told them that matter is all there is. They have been taught that Spirit does not exist, that the soul is a fantasy, and that the universe is a dead machine. They have been taught that anyone who takes idealism seriously is a crank, a fraud, or a fool.

When they hear about the Galactic Federation aliens, they do not know what to do with it. They have no framework for understanding it. They have been trained to dismiss it as "science fiction" or "conspiracy theory." They have been trained to mock it, to ridicule it, to ignore it.

But the Galactic Federation is real. It is a 4‑million‑year‑old alliance of human and human‑like civilizations.
