It's that time of year again for all of us who live in the U.S., where we get to gather with friends and family and have a 'Thanksgiving'. It's always a great time for me and my family but it got me thinking about being thankful and feeling grateful and most importantly how practicing an attitude of gratitude has truly changed my life.
I thought this would be a great time to share some exciting facts about how practicing gratitude will change not only the way you feel, but what you begin to experience in your outer world as well.
Science has discovered that a grateful disposition reduces materialism, risk of burnout and symptoms of depression....AND just plain makes you happier! Here are 7 scientifically proven benefits according to Psychology Today:
- Gratitude opens the door to improved relationships

- Gratitude improves phycological health
- Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression
- Grateful people sleep better

This would be good enough in itself, but the exciting fact that it engages the law of attraction in a positive way, changing our outward experiences as well, is just crazy cool!
