When we die, our soul does not. Instead, it enters a process of release and renewal in heaven. Classically, heaven is described as the sky, or the cosmos, because the soul passes through the planetary realms as part of this journey.

Each celestial body, or planetary realm of heaven, imbues the soul with certain experiences, or qualities, and the most powerful sphere in which the soul passes after death is the sun sphere.

In the Sun Sphere, the individual encounters the Christ. Because the human higher self is united with Christ, or more accurately, because the higher-self of the human being is coalescing with the Christ as part of him, this reunion is also an encounter with the purest and highest aspect of one's own being. During this phase all that the soul experienced during its earthly life is integrated, balanced and attuned.

Once the soul encounters the Christ in the sun sphere, and experiences their true divine nature, they are drawn back towards the earth to take another life. Hopefully, all of the experiences the soul undergoes in the heavens after death inspire it not to lose itself in its next earthly incarnation.
