2021 Pisces New Moon- Walking between the worlds

6.21 pm AWST Perth- 9.21 pm AEDT Sydney NSW Australia

I am calling this New Moon “walking between the worlds” because that is how the energy feels to me. But my natal Moon is in Pisces so I am familiar with this energy. And yet other people are feeling it too. New Moon is a time for setting intentions for the Lunar cycle ahead. But this New Moon says we are still in the healing, forgiveness, letting go, and completion energy that began when the Sun entered Pisces on Feb 18. We also had Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions) retrograde in Aquarius (thinking in new ways) from Jan 30 to Feb 20. Retrogrades are a looking within time. To create the new we must be willing to let-go of the past that no longer serves us. On this New Moon day Mercury clears his retrograde shadow but he enters Pisces on Mar 15 so the “looking within” continues.

I have called Pisces the “Poetic Soul” looking for Mystical Connection. This is what this 23 degrees Pisces New Moon is offering us. The astrological Earth at 23 degrees Virgo is offering us mind, body, spirit healing into wholeness. The traditional planetary guide for Pisces is Jupiter currently at 19 degrees Aquarius (expansion of cosmic consciousness). He is trine (removal of obstacles) the North Node at 14 degrees Gemini (choosing to unite in Love). Not only love for others but love for our self. The modern planetary guide for Pisces is Neptune currently at 20 degrees Pisces travelling with Venus at 19 degrees Pisces and the Sun/Moon at 23 degrees Pisces. This is a very mystical influence, Excellent for connecting with the “other worldly teachers and guides”. The Soul Centered guide for this Pisces New Moon is Pluto at 26 degrees Capricorn (release and transformation). Pluto is sextile (ease of opportunity for transformation) the New Moon and trine the Earth in Virgo (healing into wholeness).

This New Moon also carries the theme of “what is true, what is not true, what can never be true”. This is the question Neptune asks. Are we caught in the illusion or are we illuminated? All the Pisces planets and the Earth in Virgo are square (finding new ways of doing things) the South Node at 14 degrees Sagittarius (the past) and the Asteroid Juno (committed relationship) at 21 degrees Sagittarius (shared values or judging others) and the North Node at 14 degrees Gemini (choosing to unite in love or separating in fear). This is a Mutable Grand Cross asking us again to let go of what is no longer working and make space for the new. The NEW is activated at Equinox when the Sun enters Aries on Mar 20 (inspired new vision).

Our Animal Totem guides for the Pisces planets are Cougar, spiritual power and inner strength, and Wolf, the teacher who guides us through change. For the Earth in Virgo it is Brown Bear, introspection, healing, and The Healer. They are reversed for the South Hemisphere. For the Gemini North node our guide is Deer, sensitivity, empathy, and a call to new adventures. For the South Node and Juno in Sagittarius we are guided by Elk, spiritual strength, and Owl, spiritual wisdom. They too are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere.

For all of us the Clan Mother for the Sun in Pisces is Weighs The Truth. She is the keeper of equality and the guardian of Justice. She teaches us to find healing solutions through personal integrity. Her gift is knowing the truth. For the Earth in Virgo it is Setting Sun Woman, the Mother of the proper use of will and the keeper of tomorrow’s dreams and visions. She teaches us to live the truth. When the Sun enters Aries on March 20 we are guided by Looks Far Woman. She is the Guardian of the Crack in The Universe and the Golden Door of Illumination. She carries the medicine of Prophecy and the ability to see into other dimensions. She is the keeper of the dreamtime journey. She teaches us to honour our inner potential. For the last few days Crow has been very active where I live. Personally I have natal Earth in Libra so Crow is one of my allies. But when the Sun enters Aries on Mar 20 the astrological Earth will enter Libra. Here is the message from Crow in The Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams and David Carson.
