You can say goodbye to the idealized versions of anyone you think you know, and this is no loss.

Now, here, is where you can allow everyone to be the same, and now you can allow everything to spring from this sameness. Here, all are alike. There is nothing to interfere with the peace you see here, nothing to defend against. Here, at the wellspring of your shared being, you can allow everything to extend in safety.

With nothing about someone to read or gauge, can you trust them? Remembering them as they Are does not mean forcing behavior. If you feel you can admit to them that you are projecting fear and depending upon that, this can be a beautiful ground for healing and seeing the truth in one another. It is never ground for forcing behavior in accordance with a behavioral ideal the ego is promoting. That is the same old trap.

If you feel you can share your prominent, self-protective thoughts, do so and allow them to sit in the light of day. If it does not seem to be the time or place, then simply set the ego thought down for a moment and reorient to what is within and shared. Behavior arises effortlessly from thoughts. If you then judge the result of what you currently believe–your experiences and perceptions–you get caught up in the same loop. Do your work to reorient, and behavior and perception take care of themselves. Remember, behavior is not you or anyone you call else. It’s just perception.

There is a way to respond to what you think others are feeling. Notice that this, too, is a perception. The only question is this: Do you like what you are feeling? If you do not, rest assured that you are misperceiving. It is your perception that needs the correction, so begin by finding what you believe. Do you believe that someone is suffering? Don’t skip over this. Do you believe that if you don’t believe someone is suffering, then you can’t be helpful? These are not beliefs to skip over, launching into ego’s instructions on how to be helpful. These are beliefs to use as a reason for reorientation toward what is Real. We assure you, your true helpfulness and that of all you call other is right here to see.

Defenses are based on the idea of things coming at you. You can see things as arising for you and all, and then there is nothing to defend against. Everything arises for me. Everything arises for everyone I call else. There is a way of doing this together. See everything as arising for everyone in love, and there is no reason to hold back. In the meantime, if you do feel that “holding back” energy, you can always stop to reorient. Nothing is here to steal anything from you. Always, Spirit would show you the plentiful treasure you always share with all.

The fear you project upon yourself seems other and threatening, or it seems desirable and something you lack. Going slowly, looking through ego’s lens, once you project fear upon yourself, your Self, you see yourself as separate people and things and events in time. All of that, including what you now see as you, is You. There seems to be an attraction and a repulsion here. It seems you get sent in certain directions in order to attempt to take or avoid. You try to get what you think your separate self needs, or you try to avoid what you think would harm or inconvenience your separate self. Even in ego’s action of giving, it is taking a definition of a self that is good enough because it gives.

When you find an ego thought and set it down, you call to your deeper foundation, the sane foundation you share with all, to come and guide you in harmony with all. Spirit’s guidance doesn’t need ego’s harsh attraction and repulsion for getting and avoiding. You are already safe and fulfilled because you are Spirit with all, and as you turn toward what you Are with all, you give it permission to show you by using the symbols of time and space to reflect what is Real about all of you back to you.

Only belief in ego’s thoughts would block Spirit from showing you the reality of your Self, and you always know when you believe an ego thought by how you feel. Here, in this moment, you have every tool you need for turning toward what is here to help you. As you turn toward the most helpful resource to which you have access, you share it with all.

We shine, and we see what shines in you. It is very easy for us to see what is beautiful, eternal, and pure within you all, and this is why we have faith in you.
