Lots of people are throwing around the word “awakening” these days – most of them apparently assuming there’s just one meaning to the word – the one they happen to have in mind.

And yet, there really are many different meanings to this word, aren’t there?

Spiritual Awakening

Some people are focused on the spiritual meaning of the word. But, even then, how many different ideas do people have about what “spiritually-awake” means? Do they use the word “God” or “Creator”, indicating a more religious type of entity they believe in? Or do they have a more metaphysical type of idea of a deity, calling it “Source”? Or maybe no deity at all?

And does a “spiritually-awake person” have to be someone who meditates every day? Does being spiritually awake mean, you need to be enlightened? And, if so, who determines what enlightenment actually is or decides who is enlightened?

Truther Awakening

And then there are the truthers out there, all focused on the aspect of awakening to do with knowing what is really going on in the world – who’s part of the Cabal or the Deep State, and what they’re up to. It’s all about being “red pilled”.

So, their use of the word “awakening” is quite different from that of those focused on spiritual awakening.

Some of the truthers do use the term “spiritual”, and they talk about the “spiritual war” that’s now occurring – a war between “good” and “evil”. But it’s evident that even they probably have a somewhat different idea of what “spiritual” means from how the more spiritually-focused people use it.

Galactic Awakening

Finally, there are those who have been involved in researching information in the whole galactic field that has been coming out in the last number of years.

They talk about being awake to the outer space realities we’ve been living with for millennia that most of humanity has been asleep to. Some of these ideas co-mingle with those of the truthers – but not every truther seems to be aware of these more cosmic realities, or they’re somehow not interested in them.

So, it can sometimes be kind of confusing to enter into dialogue with people speaking about being awake, if it isn’t clear what we actually mean in using this term.

I guess the good news about all this is that at least there does seem to be a whole lot of awakening going on in the world – of all kinds. It’s what we’ve been waiting for — those of us who’ve been aware of the shift humanity needs to make.

How Awake Do We Need to Be?

But then, the question can arise: Just how awake do we need to be in order to make the momentous leap into the Fifth Dimension?

For example, is just focusing on our own personal spiritual awakening, and ignoring what’s happening out in the world to humanity, going to be enough?

Can we just focus on love and light and peace, while continuing to go along with what the powers-that-be are attempting to do to humanity? Can we maybe just focus on sending love to them, believing that will be  enough to make the shift into 5D?

How about someone who is simply focused on learning the “truth” about the Cabal and going down every rabbit hole, learning about all the evils being committed in the world? Will they be able to make this leap?

What if they have never quite really focused on who they are beyond being a human being in the world?

Maybe they really know they’re a “lightworker” and they’ve become very much an activist in the world. They’ve been focused on doing what they can to right the wrongs that have enslaved humanity for millennia. But they don’t spend much time contemplating who everyone really is on a deeper level beyond being body/mind beings on a planet. Will they be ready for ascension when the time comes?

And then, what about those who are totally focused on all the ET information flooding the internet – the ones listening to all the news about the lies we’ve been told about crashed craft on the Earth and the back-engineered technology that’s been held secret?

Or those who are totally immersed in wondering if they’re a starseed; and, if so, trying to figure out which group of Galactics they’re from? They’re definitely awake to a certain aspect of reality – but is this enough to be able to ascend when the Earth shifts into 5D?

What is it Going to Take?

These are questions worth asking ourselves. What is it going to take for us to shift into a high enough frequency to be able to ascend when the time comes? Will all three of these types of awakening be necessary? If so, to what degree? How can we determine what should we be focusing on?
